Fantastic company!

I have ordered from UK Prepping Shop multiple times now - most orders sailed through without any issues.

One order I had did have significant delays - however I only mention this because
a) it was not their fault, it was the supplier's issue
b) this was a global issue that affected any company using these types of suppliers
c) Justin kept me informed constantly about what was going on. Regular emails with updates - and very importantly he's 'always on', so sending an email will net you a really quick response every time, without fail. In the end we switched some things around (he offered) and got the order out earlier than expected. He was completely accommodating.

As other reviews have said, it's extremely clear that Justin not only cares a lot about prepping but is extremely knowledgeable about it too - they have a Youtube channel with great advice.

I'll keep ordering from them - trust is a big deal to me for these kinds of items, and UK Prepping Shop has earned it!

There is a great range of products with great prices. My emails were answered very quickly and this helped resolve my issue rapidly. I would happily shop here again.

I ordered Freeze Dried food in August and got it at the end of December BUT I was kept fully appraised, I could have cancelled if I wanted to, all of my emails were responded to (even late night ones) and finally when I saw the product was back in I contacted Justin to ask where mine was and it had already been sent, tracked. None of the above was UK Prepping Shops fault and it was all to do with the Pandemic and production. I would definitely use again because if the SHTF Justin would be the person to be so tenacious as to get the job job done, no matter what!

Excellent service, great delivery. As I was purchasing a crossbow I was prepared to provide ID. I had this ready for the very prompt email all I had to do was reply with my ID attached and the order was dispatched the same day. I will not hesitate to buy again.

Just for the record here, I consider it to be a great Prepping/outdoors survival supplies store online. And I happen to both like and personally respect the gentleman running it. This store always does its very best regarding customer services I've found throughout the year. Usually very courteous and respectful. Goods purchased arrive to one well packaged by reputable carrier. This store holds an increasing great range of Prepping/survival/emergency preparedness related goods including an outstanding specialist survival subjects books line. You can tell the store owner cares about what they're doing in the offered range. Taking pride in their business to their customers.

(I do however, sadly, have growing serious issues and increasing personal concerns with the Trusted Shops reviews systems company this particular store is signed up to as a customer of. I've attempted to highlight that all ongoing now through some months of noticed problems with Trusted Shops themselves, finally in review separately here at Trustpilot, for Trusted Shops. Especially as Trusted Shops appear to actively block all other possible avenues of direct communications through to themselves. Since my issues are wholly with Trusted Shops in that regards, and not with the actual retailer here that I chose to shop with - who's signed up to/linked in with using the Trusted Shops review site - I'm now taking other avenues open to me in order to seek necessary desired redress of these encountered problems unacceptable to me. I have experienced knock on detrimental effects to me personally, of the attached relationship of these Trusted Shops people to this company here I actually chose to shop with. Putting me to a great deal of unnecessary and wholly unacceptable troubles and inconvenience, being directly against my lawful data protection interests. And I did not have given to me option in choosing to opt out of this entwined relationship with Trusted Shops themselves thrust upon me to accept, through my choosing to shop with Prepping UK. Other than the option of last resort reserved, of breaking off all future patronage of this particular company.)

( Added notation, SITREP update. NB. Failing numerous communications attempts direct through to Trusted Shops, I have now had no other option but to contact UK Trading Standards authority for my area. For advice and complaint of the Trusted Shops non compliance with the UK data protection laws. Acting ongoing as they are directly against my best individual personal interests, I strongly believe. It's become unacceptable to me through this year increasingly. To the point I need to challenge Trusted Shops ongoing in what they are doing. I never gave permission for Trusted Shops to be emailing me with a stream of emails I never signed up to. We had a law come in to deal with that. I also consider Trusted Shops guarantee offered is in effect a scam fake guarantee, while Trusted Shops attempt to data harvest from its clients own consumer base takes liberties. And is highly invasive to privacy, in my experience and considered opinion. I don't and never did want or ask for this relationship with, nor communications direct to me from Trusted Shops, including reminders after the fact of their offered incentivized delivery protection insurance that I never requested in the first place. If you should decide to shop with and give your custom to any business online like this one associated with Trusted Shops, then be prepared to be bothered by multiple emails from Trusted Shops every time you shop. After a while it just gets really tiresome as you cannot opt out of it seemingly in any way. )
NB. Now getting further Trusted Shops emails coming out to me, weeks after order, and in the German language. Not very good.
Update. Managed to finally contact through to Trusted Shops through this site by placing review. As they ignored or made impossible all other avenues of contact to demand they remove all my data there. I have since because of this bad experience with Trusted Shops, ceased giving custom to this company. As they're linked to the Trusted Shops company based in Germany, who do not respect people's UK personal data protection rights.

Always trustworthy with prompt delivery and great range of items, personal service too. Won't let you down like a lot of places who promise and don't deliver.

Tried to buy a crossbow and received a very rude text to my personal number Asking me why I was "ignoring" their request for I.d. despite the fact it had been just 24 hours since the order and I hadn't checked my email I had been at work . I responded stating how rude this was and was called " ridiculous" by " Justin for having not checked my emails. Absolutely disgusting. ......
Yes please do post the screenshots of the " obnoxious" texts so we can see exactly what message you sent. As opposed to this edited version. I wasn't " refusing" to send I.D I simply hadn't checked my emails since ordering the product last night . Cant believe you deem a 23 hour wait for I.D a " refusal to send" . checking emails and sending I D hasn't been my top priority. .... Please post the screenshots as YOU suggested . So we can see the text transaction, as I don't have the facility to do so . ......You are simply lying . You suggested posting the screenshots so post them ,so we can see the messages you sent I'm sure your employer is curious as to how you treat customers.

First ever purchase arrived today. I'm very pleased with my little pistol crossbow. I had a query and had to call them and the young man was so helpful and friendly. I can highly recommend the company and will absolutely be buying from them in the future.
The sheer *range* of products and the good prices is excellent.

Quick delivery and good prices.
No complaints, and got a nice follow up email to a follow up email that I responded to. That sounds more convoluted than I meant but least proves I'm a real human! Was free delivery as well which only took 2 days. Would definitely do business with again and would recommend.

Where to start?
SLOW - I placed my order on 6 April and eventually delivered by DHL on 23 April.
UNSAFE - 2 x Light Stick packs supplied. One pack had expiry 02/2025. The other had expiry date 08/2022. Unacceptable for safety critical items. Unacceptable for a business founded on survival products.
UNRELIABLE - I complained about the old light sticks and the sales director offered resolution of a refund on 23 April which I accepted at the time, Despite reminders, no refund has been received as of 1 June.

Follow up:
The supplier's response of 1 June is weak and unhelpful:

1) The SLOW delivery took 17 days. It is entirely unreasonable to attribute that to a despatch made to (shouty upper caps) Scotland. 7 days would have been acceptable but the additional 10 days remains unexplained and UNACCEPTABLE.

2) Their supplier, BCB, did not deliver any replacement. That is for UK Prepping Shop to resolve but the last communication I received from them proposed a Refund and they subsequently ignored my email of 16 May in this regard when they could readily have identified their purported change in resolution mechanism and followed the matter up with BCB! Further evidence that UK Prepping Shop and its sales director, Justin Jones, are UNRELIABLE.

I maintain my advice to AVOID

Spent a lot of money. Products were stated 25 year lifespan and it was less than that.
I received 4 cans dented, had to send the old ones back, but got 2 in return, 1 STILL dented. The other 2 out of stock. Still not had a refund for the other 2. Really not impressed.
It gets 2 stars instead of 1 because they organised a return.

UPDATE following company response to my review accusing me of being dishonest and lying in my review and taking no accountability for issues raised I have edited to 1 star as this is further negatively impacted my experience of dealing with this company.

The fact is 7 of the 10, 25 year shelf life products I bought have shelf life of November/December 2045 which is just over 24 years so not the “at least 25 years” promised and not explained by the odd week delay in orders in the company response.

Whether the tins were damaged by the company or the courier cannot be confirmed but the packaging which was done by the company clearly not sufficient to protect them and dented tins which cannot re appropriately re-sealed defeats their bought purpose. Either way ultimate responsibility for goods being received as advertised and in good condition lies with the company. Potential clients make your own judgement but personally had a poor experience and very unimpressed with the company’s customer service in addressing my concerns and this review.
