I’ve been trying to contact this…
I’ve been trying to contact this company reference my order for a couple of weeks now and receive nothing. Now I understand companies are busy but when the company doesn’t say anything to you basically that tells me you’re a con or you need to explain yourself. I should be asking for a refund via PayPal and advise anyone not to use this company and please if this company wants to contact me, please do.

Shocking company
Shocking company! Purchased a crossbow, to not receive any confirmation of order, nothing.
Over the next ten days I’ve tried to call, email, Instagram message and text endlessly to get no response.

Avoid like the plague as a total scammer
This company are totally dishonest, I text them before ordering and they assured me it would go out friday for monday delivery so I ordered then once they had my money , my torture started , lie after lie promise after promise then a refund offered then it definitely been sent , then its due out today. Then another refund offer accusing me of trying to jump the queue abusing me and blaming everything but god why I havn’t received my order. Had to raise a dispute with paypal in the end. Avoid like the plague you have been warned. Update:: Haha if he hadn’t promised it by monday I wouldn’t have bothered got refunded by paypal total scam artist blaming everyone else but his thieving self . Update:- After phoning me today while I’m on holiday he did get told to F Off , it’s a shame he ain’t as quick to send the orders as quick as he edits his trustpilot replies 🤣🤣🤣 . He gets so many complaints he can’t even remember who he has spoken to the day before! The only thing he’s prepping for is a world with all your money. Its a shame you can’t post all the communications between us as it’s pure comedy gold he forgets the emails and texts he’s sent are a record .

Never again
Do not even bother with this company the emails I got back from the owner were so rude for no reason. I asked for a refund and he’s not even done it I had to go through my bank.
Update I received the goods about 2months after cancelling and have arranged the goods be collected for this rude owner who is continuously harassing me through emails. I can see aswell he’s trying to get money back from my bank as well the goods.
Still threatening as you can see below. It’s arranged to be collected I don’t see the problem. Also you didn’t refund me.
Anyway your talking rubbish can you send the tracking for collection this is all getting very boring. Your not replying on emails and I can’t let the item go without tracking or knowing who’s collecting.

I can't really fault the whole experience. It was nice to hear directly from the owner himself who was forthcoming with expected delivery dates. The items have arrived in a decent timeframe and I have certainly got my money's worth. Just be patient, I know it's anxious times but he's doing a great service for us.
Ordered a crossbow and water…
Ordered a crossbow and water purification tablets, tablets delivered but no crossbow. Chased this with them, heard nothing, so eventually had to pursue through my bank to refund. Then 3 months later I get a reply saying it was delivered so pay or they will pursue through small claims etc. Asked for proof which they cant have as it was never delivered and we have ring doorbell. The worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I can't believe they have bad reviews.
They couldn't do enough for me with my order they even let my order come next day delivery which I had forgotten when I placed the order.
These guys are the way online shopping should be done , very efficient, speedy delivery, kept me informed all the way with my order.
It's a top store and I will be using them again shortly.
Cannot recommend highly enough, keep up the good work ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Just to clarify - I'm not a 'whacko' as the owner of this shambles of a retailer likes to refer to everyone!
30-08-25 - Placed an order for 2 lots Revo 7 bolts which were showing as 'In stock' and paid for 48 hour shipping.
04-09-25 - No dispatch email received as yet so email them as I noticed the items were now showing as back order.
05-09-25 - Emailed asking to cancel the order as the website stated everything was processed within 24 hours and given the fact the items were apparently in stock, they should have been dispatched given 6 days had passed. Received a reply the same day saying 'back order means items en route...pre order if you will. Yeah sure, will refund' - the items weren't showing as back order when I ordered, they were showing as in stock.
05-09-25 - Received a separate email stating order had been refunded
20-09-25 - Emailed to say I've not received refund and 15 days has now passed (website says refunds are made within 14 days)
23-09-25 - 18 days has now passed and no sign of any refund so emailed to chase up refund again and always filed a case with Paypal
27-09-25 - Paypal chased this joke of a retailer for further information
01-10-25 - Paypal finished reviewing my case and filed in my favour so I finally received a refund!
EDIT following the predicted standard whacko response from the deluded owner:
A: Already said I’m not a whacko 😉
B: YOUR ITEMS WERE SHOWING AS IN STOCK OR I WOULDNT HAVE BOTHERED ORDERING THEM.
C: You can’t even run a business correctly which is why you use a fulfilment company because you don’t have enough room in your shed to stock anything 🫠

Are you trying to compare yourself to Jeff Bezos? 🤣🤣🤣 You’re more like Mr Tumble 🫠 Amazon certainly know how to run a business. They know how to deliver goods too, the next day generally. They also reply to their customers emails. Refund promptly. It never ends. Perfect customer service from them every single time.
Unlike Jason who hangs on to everyone’s pennies as long as he can so he can pretend he’s wealthy and running a great business.

Just put first order in with these guys ... Arrived in excellent time ... No issues at all.. I was slightly concerned with some reviews ... But I think those are mostly because people don't provide ID proof required by law to buy a crossbow ... So my experience of this company is good ... 👍
Patience and fairness pays.
First of all, i would like say to all the reviewers who gave a bad reviews to prepping uk shop and Jason (personally) like i did initially, been unpatient and frustrated customer. I didn't realise that they were actually very busy with order's and back up supplies. Jason has explained to me and unsure that I will receive my crossbow shortly and he was a man of his words, 2 days later my order was in my door. I have personally apologised for my frustration and unfair review i have given so he did.
So, my message to all of you! Please please be patient and fair to a small business that trying to answer our demands. Deep down Jason is a really nice guy and trying his best to accommodate all our order's. I will be very happy to order from them again very soon. Gino

Proceed with caution
Placed an order with this cowboy outfit on Friday 29/08/25 for a crossbow and bolts, paid for next day delivery like a sucker, not realising they don't process on weekends which automatically annoyed me because why offer next day at a cost if you cannot honour it.
Fast forward to the following Tuesday and still nothing delivered so called the number on the website which hung up and quickly sent me a text saying "please text me" which I did quoting my order numbers and asked for an update - No reply.
Did a quick Google only to find a large selection of bad reviews pertaining to similar situations as mine.
This is when I knew I had to cancel.
Went on their website and checked the refund and returns policy which stated - "You have the right to return and a refund within 14 days after the date of order without giving any reason".
Great.
So I sent an email quoting my order numbers and requested they cancel the order and process a refund...Enter Justin!
Justin very abruptly replied to my request with "you didn't send id, we won't deliver without I'd".
I replied to Justin pointing out I didn't know I needed to send ID.
So after multiple emails going back and forth with Justin, we established he had not processed the order and on 03/09/25 he agreed via email to process a refund.
Great.
It's now 21/09/25 and still no refund.
I blame myself for not doing my due diligence with this retailer but for anyone else reading this, I would highly recommend exploring other retailers first.
I will be sending a copy of the retailers reply along with bank statements to prove no refund has been received to trading standards as well as contacting the local council.
Rogue retailers must be held to account.
After the retailer lied in his review to this post, claiming to have processed a refund which he hadn't. My bank had to reclaim the money from this cowboy outfit.

Not recieved my items and no contact
My order has been processing for 2 weeks now, I've tried to email and call several times but I get no response at all, I'm not sure if I will ever get my order or a refund at this stage, very bad customer service.

Not reliable - Order made on 28 August with a 48hr shipping. Gave time for them to process since I thought because it was the weekend until now (2weeks later) still no progress. I contacted them and they didn't want to speak over the phone and preferred to text message instead but they did not respond anymore. - I do not recommend.

The best thing about this shop is that you have to admire Justin’s complete cheek. He doesn’t deliver orders, abuses you, then replies to your correct review then when you have all the facts to back up your review he reports it! Which ofcourse once trust pilot looks into it they have to repost the review because ofcourse customers aren’t making up complaints for the fun of it. Justin’s abuse is actually quite comical once you’ve received your refund and you don’t have that stress any more. I suggest not to advertise items as in stock when you don’t have them Justin then you won’t have so many bad reviews. That along with your vile customer service.

Good family run business can’t complain they delivered my order with no problem good communication from them and well packed so no damage either packed nice and neatly lovely bit of kit was impressed with it would order again with no stress 👍

Order a Crossbown on July 17 and sent my ID for age verification. They just don't send the product and don't answer calls, neither emails.
I requested a refund on August 15th and they don't answer my request.
Order #35130 was placed on 17 July 2025 and is currently Processing (for 1 month?)

I ordered a box of Seven Oceans…
I ordered a box of Seven Oceans Emergency rations which was shown in stock. I waited 2 weeks but nothing received or any updates. I emailed and was told they were awaiting stock. No information on when exactly they would get stock, and a refund was apparently made...
After waiting 2 weeks for the refund that never arrived, I escalated through paypal. No response from the seller to them so I was eventually refunded by paypal.
It appears that this seller advertises products they do not have, keeps your money as long as possible, forcing you to go through the paypal/credit card process to get your money back.
Looks like the whole business is a ponzi scheme funded this way so be aware when it eventually collapses, you may be caught out.

UKPrepping – Now Offering Free Personality Assessments with Every Delay
I ordered a crossbow from UKPrepping on 3rd August, when their website showed nine in stock and promised 24h processing / 48h dispatch. The ID requirement was hidden in the small print, so I submitted it on 7th August after spotting it.
Then… silence. It took three emails before I finally got a reply — not an update, not an apology, but a diagnosis. Apparently, I have “angry issues” and a “bad attitude.” This came only after I cited my rights under consumer law, which they interpreted as “aggressive” and therefore reason enough that they “couldn’t trust me with a crossbow.”
They refused to fulfil the order, promised an “immediate refund” on 14th August, but as of 18th August no refund has arrived and they’ve refused to provide proof (ARN). Instead, they’ve claimed they have “up to 14 days” and told me to “stop harassing” them when I chased my own money.
And if you’re reading this thinking, “surely they’ll respond and try to explain” — of course they will. Just look at their replies to other reviews: the customer is never right, and it’s always someone else’s fault. Expect more defensiveness than accountability.
By contrast, I have since bought a crossbow from Outdoorhobbies and the experience was like night and day. Order placed, dispatched the following morning, and in my hands two days later. Smooth, professional, and exactly how it should be.
If you want your goods delivered on time, your emails answered, and to avoid being insulted or psychoanalysed by the shopkeeper, I strongly suggest buying from a reputable alternative.

Just to be clear: at no point did I send threats or abusive emails — I simply cited the Consumer Rights Act and Consumer Contracts Regulations after my order was ignored for 11 days. That was my legal right as a customer.
The owner’s reply here repeats the same personal insults (“anger issues,” “abuse”) I described in my review. I’ll leave it to readers to judge whether this is a professional way to handle a complaint.
