Ordered a teak stain turned up my kids came over decided to help out but starting to stain all the new wood to build fencing a good few hundred pounds worth was dark oak when messaged them about it with photos just had a reply saying that's our teak even after sending photos of there own colour chart showing it was didn't care I have had to now change all my or wood in garden to dark oak so it matches there customer service is absolutely terrible they cost me money and didn't care I would stay well away from them

Just to add the stain is disappearing off the wood and has been for a while we are now in February didn't even last a year definitely not worth the money

Bought directly from their website. 5L anthracite grey fence paint for my summerhouse project. Love this paint. Thick, spreads super well and dries quickly.
Nicely priced too and quick delivery! Cannot fault them.

I’m going to buck the trend here and give this company a good review.

I live by the sea and use Pliolite Masonary paint based on its durability in conditions where there’s a lot of salt in the atmosphere. On the sea facing side of my house I always use Johnstone’s Stormshield Pliolite but at the rear where it doesn’t get the full force of the elements I use the uk paint equivalent which is considerably cheaper. Pliolite is pricey stuff so 10/10 to uk paint for making a competitively priced alternative to the mainstream brands. It’s absolutely fine and gives a good durable finish which is superior to water based masonry paints. It’s available in 20 litre drums, it’s cheap and arrives quickly.

If I was to criticise uk paint it would be for their communication - responding to emails doesn’t appear to be their strong point and their website doesn’t fill me with confidence either.

Do not buy anything from this company. I purchased paint which was off and I tried to return it to them. They do not give you a returns label, but advise you to return this through apc (in terms and conditions they do not take paint and can destroy it). They do not answer their phone. Stay well clear!!

Paint arrived in badly dented tin. Applied to two runs of fencing - colours was considerably lighter than portrayed. After just a few months the paint is wearing and does not appear to be resistant to rain water.

sent emulsion in a gloss can they take along time to reply hoping you will go away,the customer service is practically non existant ,insofar as ive had to initiate chargeback proceedings with my card providor,further update owner of the company now in email thinks its funny they cant supply the proper paint, Got a friend from edinburgh university to test a newly ordered fresh can it does not meet the standard criteria of an arcrylic gloss paint, and in fact the new can ordered is not not even the same shade as previous, says a lot for mixing techniques used

Bought 2 5 litre tins of paint. Website states it’s acrylic based but labels on tins states water based. Email sent to company 4 days ago and no response. Wouldn’t buy from again
