Good course. Worth a look if your interested in fire doors. The start of another journey for me.

Very interesting course and I did learn somethings

The course is really informative and interesting but it is for complete novices. I’ve been a qualified tradesman for 35 years so found what tools to used to cut out a hinge and how to fit a lock a little patronising. People who have no carpentry experience shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near a fire door.

Really useful if your starting out, lots of good information and lots of things I never realized I needed.

Very educational and up to date courses, easy to use courses and also keeps you up to date with the regulations you need to kno about fire doors, love it keep up the good work

The course was wonderful it's a very useful knowledge. The only was too much reading and less videos.

Easy to understand and well written course

My experience was great, to be honest. I felt very welcome, and that set a positive attitude for the course from the start. The classroom table layout was quite close together and felt a little cramped, but it was manageable. The training lead was very experienced, helpful, and demonstrated a great deal of knowledge throughout the course.

Really informative and enjoyable course. The content was clear, practical and very well explained, and I gained a much better understanding of fire door safety and certification. The course has given me the knowledge and confidence to consider pursuing a career in fire door safety. I definitely plan to continue with further fire door training and studies to develop my skills and knowledge. I would highly recommend UK Fire Door Training.

What made my experience so good was I could do the course in my own time in between work and looking after the family so for me it was a godsend something that I could do and then come back to when it was possible

I have just completed the fire door maintenance online only course. Firstly ill point out theres no refund policy and ive bought a bundle so now im out a couple hundred pounds. They will charge you if you fail the multiple choice assessment to do a resit so luckily i passed.

Not too happy with the content of the course. The platform itself is fine and there's good introduction sections with some videos.

However the actual fire door maintenance section is just blocks of text. Theres no videos or images actually teaching you how to do the repairs. This is fine if you want a tick box exercise for compliance purposes but i was hoping to actually learn something.

For example it states,
"Fit flexible threshold seals or automatic drop-seals to the bottom edge of the door to close the gap when the door is closed."
That's all the information you get it doesn't tell you how to fit them or show any pictures.

Stan the man was a great teacher and I know all our class enjoyed it. He spent a lot of time with the more inexperienced guys (myself included) . My only criticism would be his haircut. He he

Just completed the ABBE Level 3 Fire Door Inspection Course with UKFDT. They were great from start to finish, the portal was easy to navigate and my tutor 'Mark Smith' was extremely knowledgeable and on hand to help with any queries I had. I would recommend UKFDT to anyone looking to gain this qualification.
