I was stupid enough to drop my desktop board but but UKDB repaired it quickly and at minimal cost

A perfect purchase for every train enthusiast! The departure boards provide a constant feed of departures from every train and tram station (and buses if you subscribe to the bus add-on). The audio announcements are a must-buy and unlock a whole new dimension to the board! I highly recommend!

Have been a long time Departure Board owner and recently decided to update my desktop departure board to one with sound.

I contacted Russell with a question regarding it and as usual I received a reply within minutes.

Board was ordered late evening Wednesday & arrived Saturday morning. Set up is easy and within minutes you can be using the board.

In the past If I have had a problem, then a quick message to Russell and it is sorted asap (more often than not it's me that has done something silly rather than a problem with the board).

Can't recommend UK Departure Boards highly enough!

Purchased for my father as an entertaining Christmas and beyond present.
Just like standing at the station for real and being kept informed of both smooth running and problem services at any station selected.
Both National Rail and Underground services supported too.
The owner was quick to personally reply to all my questions which makes a lovely change from robot responses.
Highly recommended for any rail enthusiast or for anyone else.

Of all the pieces of technology I own - this is one of the ferw which simply continues to be rewarding. Perhaps because it has the rare quality of being delightful and useful at the same time. (About once a week it saves me a wasted journey - or a needless ruch - to catch a delayed train). The rest of the time it's just cute.

William Morris said that you should have nothing in your house you do not know to be useful or think to be beautiful. He would have owned several of these, I suspect.

Amazing customer service from a small company!

I bought the Small LED Departure Board, I ran into issues getting it posted (all my mail comes to a PO) and they worked with me for weeks to get it posted.

I was a happy customer, but then due to some awful DIY on my end, the board fell from the wall and the power jack became dislodged. Most companies would tell you "tough luck", but they accepted to fix the fault. UKDB were very patient as we arranged a date that worked for both of us (over the span of two months), and I voluntarily went down to the company address to get this fixed, though they did offer the option to use the post, I just wanted an excuse to go to Bristol haha.

I'm honestly taken aback, I don't know which other company will have the patience to follow up on an issue for two months.

Amazing customer service all around, if I was satisfied with the item, I'm completely blown back by my experience. Keep doing you, Russell.

The response time to my enquiry was immaculate and customer support was outstanding and friendly.

As l am a long time owner of the UK Departure board with a 1st generation board am pleased Russell continues to improve each new generation of board which is very welcome. Its still is an excellent product. I'm sure he will in future add more features such as male announcement voice packs and additional phrases that will make the even more appealing to us his demanding customers. keep up the good work Russell!
