Derek knows his stuff. He's a tough demanding coach, that really helps you learn the subject matter.

I have known Derek for many years and always enjoyed working with him.

Derek is an experienced professional with deep knowledge of Scrum as well as the broader subject of Agile ways of working. Derek is an excellent trainer on account of the fact that he is able to draw on his work across many industries to complement his explanation of the theory. This combines to make the theory relevant whilst bringing the subject to life.

I can recommend Derek’s classes without reservation.

The training days provided by Derek were simply great. Concise, to the point and relating real life examples to the theory. After the training I got certified in PSM and PAL

I had the opportunity to attend several courses run by Derek in London and I found them all very thought-provoking.

I enjoyed Derek teaching style and his very curious Agile mindset. I also followed some of his key suggestions (p.s. you need to attend the course to know them!)

I recently came across the "Introduction to Professional Scrum" path on Pluralsight. I didn’t realize it until I really started studying for the Professional Scrum Master 1 (PSM 1) certification exam just how well this course prepared me. Derek explains the roles, events, and artifacts in a way that someone with no experience in scrum can quickly understand the framework and see the benefits of its implementation. This was a great course that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for more information on the benefits of Scrum.

The class was very informative and I did learn a lot from the course. I will definitely use scrum alliance for any future course I may have.

Certified Scrum Master course with Derek Davidson.
The course was online using Zoom and MURAL (white board application) and it worked extremely well.
The material was really good with lots of group exercises to help understand aspects of the Scrum framework.
Derek made the course flexible as he welcomed questions all the way through. I was able to ask questions relevant to some situations I am facing at work too.
I personally liked the way this normally 2 full day course was run across 4 mornings which allowed time to think over what was covered during the morning session.
I would recommend Derek and the Certified Scrum Master course to anyone who is aspiring on becoming a Scrum master or simply wanting to know more about the Scrum master role in general.
I was a bit hesitant in joining an online course initially but Derek makes everybody feels welcomed and is an excellent trainer with lots of experience on how to do Scrum in the real world.

The Certified Scrum Master training course that Derek provided was excellent. The course was well prepared and delivered with clear material to follow. Derek answered everyone's questions and allowed the course to flow naturally. I would recommend this course to anyone wanting to know more about Scrum.
