I went ahead earlier this year with Tristar TV and must say the responses we were getting for our business from the adverts was fantastic. We couldn’t cope with the phone line ringing literally call after call for a month. Fantastic value for money and will go ahead again once this campaign has finished. Charlie and the team were great and very helpful in making my advert as they gave me ideas and suggestions.
The video turned out looking incredibly sharp. The colors popped so much, it was like watching something in ultra-HD.
These guys are the absolute cowboys of cowboys. I'll give you my story in the hope that others learn from it and don't throw £20k down the drain.
On first appearance this company seem great, friendly, professional with some great past work. Don't be fooled by this once they have your cash in the bank they literally don't care if your advert goes out or not.
We paid 20k for a Christmas campaign of 100 adverts on ITV2 & ITVBe, shown between 9am and 7pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday. When they sent us the ad schedule the calendar shows our adverts are going out on a tuesday, weds, thurs morning at 6am. These were not what we signed in the contract and who watches tv at 6am with the intention to buy.
When we pulled this up with them they tried to get us to keep the time slots allocated because if they pull the campaign we would have to wait for a new slot which would be after Christmas. We pulled the campaign clearly as 6am weekday adverts is not the package which was sold to us.
So then following Christmas we spend months back and forth trying to sort this absolute mess of a situation whilst 20k out of pocket. After months of hounding they agree to edit the video slightly so it's not Christmas themed. Then they sen d us a new schedule. This time ITV2 & ITVBe aren't even on the list and they are putting our advert on channels I've never heard of and that our target market do not watch. We get told to like it or lump it.
At this stage I had to get legal advice to find out we could fight and win this in court but the costs and headache from it would probably equal the cost of the initial advert we paid.
So we had to put this down as a bad day at the office and move on from it 20k down not a single sale in sight. Waste of time and money don't let these guys pull the wool over your eyes like they did me.
THANKS for the reply, your replied faster to our review than you do to emails, this review only took 4 months for you to reply, says a lot. Please people don't read into this that they try and resolve things, these are just words on a screen. They don't try and resolve anything and just cast you aside once your total bill is paid. We were miss sold a service that's the bottom line fact.

Thank you for your feedback. While we regret the issues you faced, we would like to clarify some important details.
1. Ad Schedule: The original campaign included 66 out of 100 scheduled spots on ITVBe and ITV2, with the earliest airing at 8:10am, not 6am as mentioned. We acknowledge some scheduling errors due to COVID disruptions, and we apologised for this at the time.
2. Resolution: We made significant efforts to work with you and address your concerns. Despite waiting on responses, we provided a second, brand-new advert at no extra cost, which aired with an additional 164 spots on Sky Atlantic — a major channel known for shows like Game of Thrones: House of Dragons.
3. Double the Exposure: In total, you received 230 spots, more than double what was originally agreed upon.
