Highly recommended. I was amazed that the offer of free removal into storage really was free - and was carried out in a friendly, efficient and professional way. The storage facility is very convenient - and clean and dry - and the access arrangements via a simple app is great.

I had been renting space in a High Wycombe storage facility which was becoming a bind to drive to as I need frequent access. I then found out that Tripps had just opened a high spec monitored storage facility in Marlow. After having a look round - and being very impressed, I booked in and was blown away with how professional and helpful they were. The best part for me - Tripps moved all my items from the facility in High Wycombe into their facility FREE OF CHARGE!

We hired A. H. Tripp and Sons for a move between Aylesbury and Manchester. We were given multiple reassurances about the logistics for such a big move. Needless to say the move was an utter shambles - late movers, lack of proper planning and foresight, broken furniture, and a complete lack of empathy for the stress this caused for us. To make matters worse, their compensation is a joke - not even 10% back to cover broken furniture, emotional distress, and out of pocket costs on moving day.

Please stay away from this company.

We used Tripp removals to put the contents of our house in storage. We used the full packing servicr. Everything went smoothly and the guys were hard working and courteous over the 3 days. Would definitley recommend them to anyone.

A primeira correu bem e a segunda, não foram prejuízos graves (pequenos) mas a vossa postura deixou a desejar. E agora já não vale a pena.

The four men who came to pack for us were cheerful, polite, efficient and helpful. The following day the two who moved us into our new property had to wait in the van for over four hours as there was a computer problem with the bank transferring funds. Despite this, and then having to unpack the van in the dark and in pouring rain they were again cheerful, friendly, efficient and most helpful. All round full marks to Tripps - they were brilliant!

I used AH Tripp in December 25 to pack and move the contents of my 4 bedroom house and garden. I selected them because of others' reviews, the range of services offered and a fair price.

From first to last, their staff were polite, professional and diligent. Everything was packed carefully, with appropriate protection and boxes well labelled. The fittings from the furniture they dismantled were bagged up and taped well to the piece.

They worked solidly from 8-5 to get everything packed and loaded in one day.

The following morning I met them 100 miles away, where my goods were to be stored. The unloading was done as professionally as before.

They made this part of a stressful process of moving house as worry free as possible.

From the original survey to the team of 2 unloading after a long distance drive, I have nothing but praise for the team at A. H. Tripp & Son.
The price was reasonable, the two chaps that came an moved us were a pleasure and were able to load and unload all in the same day with a 250 drive in between.
We had complete trust in them as there were some valuable items to move and they treated everything they moved with care and attention.
I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Ben and Aidan were the removal men tasked with moving my 89 yr old mother's belongings from Eastcote to a small village in Aberdeenshire. By coincidence Ben had moved my brother up there last year. They were polite,friendly and super efficient. They packed everything carefully and had the lorry packed and ready to leave in a few hours.
At the destination the following day they unpacked all the furniture and boxes very quickly even helping to set up furniture in rooms.
Ben and Aidan made the move stress free for all of us and I would thoroughly recommend them and A H Tripp for any removals.

We chose A H Tripp for our removals, despite being more expensive than alternative quotes, because of their reputation, the glowing reviews and we assumed that a large organisation with many years of experience would deliver on their promises. This confidence proved misplaced.
It is apparent from our experience that the approach was to pack expediently, so that some boxes were crammed full and very heavy, whilst others contained only a few light items and a considerable amount of packing paper. This careless approach was exemplified by:
- Clearance of downstairs bedroom commenced without consultation with the result that papers and other documents needed post removal were packed with their location unclear. A laptop was switched off and packed and car keys packed without consultation and the latter not yet found.
- Damage to shelving, bookcase, sofa, single bed, wardrobe through inadequate protection
- Damage to crockery and glassware
- Fixings missing for free standing clothes rail, which cannot now be assembled.
- Original oil painting jammed into packing case without covering or protection and inadequate protection for a fragile framed batik print.
A second crew had a different labelling regime from the first crew, which complicated unpacking: also careless with random packing of unrelated items (eg food with cleaning materials, single shoe with paperwork). This crew solicited tips and lunch. Despite being asked several times to protect carpets with the material provided, they failed to do so, resulting in trampled mud on carpets.
There remain items unaccounted for, some of which should be easily identified by virtue of their size eg stiff yard broom and trolley jack.
Success of a house move is dependent on shared expectations and preparations and open communication between owner and removal teams AND within teams. The office was asked before the move how we might help in this way and were told that the team would explain all on the day. That is too late. All parties are too stressed and under time pressure for that to happen satisfactorily, and in our case, we had a different packing team on the removal day and team changes on the first day. Continuity is essential.
Clearer information and advice to property owners is needed so that they can help facilitate orderly packing and subsequent retrieval of goods at destination.
We have provided feedback to Tripp and had no acknowledgement of receipt or of subsequent requests for acknowledgement. This serves only to reinforce our view that this company deserves no more than one star.

As a postscript, I notice that favourable reviews receive a 'thank you' on line. The company can't be bothered to address critical reviews, the mark of complacency.

Tripp were slightly the more expensive of the 3 removals firms we asked to quote but we were attracted by their professionalism and enthusiasm. We are so glad we chose them!
Ben and Liam were our team for the move which spanned 3 days due to distance involved. What a credit they are to the Company. Hardworking, polite, timely, professional and caring. Nothing was too much trouble and their removals experience was invaluable throughout. We have no hesitation in recommending AH Tripp for all removals requirements.
