Site again, not working. Train journey booked, paid for, have to hazard a guess whether I'll need a 8 mile walk at the end of the train ride. As a partially disabled public transport user for 8 yr's, have found this routine with Traveline. The site doesn't work correctly, cannot be relied upon. Have had 7-8, 12 - 25 mile walks the past two years, due to Travel line

have never experienced customer service as incompetent and dismissive as Traveline Cymru.

Yesterday alone I called them NINE times trying to get a correct bus time from Kinmel Bay to Rhyl. On four of those calls, staff answered the phone and then simply refused to speak once they heard my voice, forcing me to repeatedly call back.

I was repeatedly told that the number 45 bus stopped at a particular stop at 2:15pm. I explained multiple times that the bus was not arriving and that I had already been waiting well past the scheduled time they had given me. Instead of checking the information properly, staff doubled down and kept insisting the timetable was correct.

It was not correct.

After several failed calls and being left stranded, I eventually had to pay for a taxi and arrived over 30 minutes late.

I then contacted the actual bus company directly. They immediately confirmed that the number 45 bus does NOT stop at that stop at 2:15pm and that I could have waited there forever because no such bus was ever coming. They also confirmed that Traveline Cymru should have access to exactly the same timetable information as the bus operators themselves.

What is even more concerning is that I called Traveline Cymru again the following morning to make sure this mistake would not happen to somebody else, and they were STILL giving out the same incorrect information despite the issue already being pointed out repeatedly the previous day.

At no point did anybody seem remotely concerned that they had left somebody stranded, distressed, late for their destination, and forced into paying for alternative transport because of their misinformation.

The attitude throughout was dismissive, defensive, and openly irritated that I dared to keep calling back after being given incorrect information. Rather than properly checking anything, staff became argumentative and eventually hung up on me.

A public transport information service that cannot provide accurate bus information, refuses to verify obvious mistakes, and treats customers with contempt when they report problems is completely unacceptable.

I would strongly advise people to verify any information given by Traveline Cymru directly with the actual bus operators before relying on it.

Traveline was essentially reliable it is now a complete waste of time it seems to have been updated by ai. Appalling and time wasting

Travel line not good phone them asked man what time bus to spier hospital walderslade and he sed it will take a bout 2 to 2 and a half hours and 3 buses the only thing is went on push bike and done it in 50 minutes so what is the point and it cost me 2pound and 30 pence to do it waste of time and money woul of give half stay but don't know how to do it

I have used Traveline for many years to find public transport information while walking long distance paths and found it to be excellent. Two days ago I used the new version to find a simple route in London and found the new version to be complicated, frustrating and inaccurate. Why fix something that isn't broken?

I have used traveline for many years and found it very useful and easy.
Now it has changed I find it more or less impossible to use, just so complicated as before it was very straightforward, feeling very frustrated 😠

If I could give Traveline SW no points then I would gladly do so.
I need to travel to a hospital appointment outside of the town where I live and attempted to look up the information via the Traveline website.
The wonderful website ( please excuse me for a moment as I have to remove my tongue from my cheek ) told me that no buses run between Bath and Melksham at all.
As a regular Bath bus station user I know that this information is a pile of 💩!
I then went on to the local bus company website and found out that buses run between the two towns very regularly.
So, my advice to anybody is don't bother using Traveline. Just Google the local public transport sites for where you wish to travel.

When are Traveline going to repair this app. It has been useless since the “reissue”!
Does no one who is employed in this business not read the reviews or listen to complaints?
It is very frustrating, unusable and an embarrassment for any tourist depending on this.
Come on - sort this mess out ASAP!

Unusable, slow response, not intuitive, confusing. It's difficult to understand how a website that used to be invaluable has turned into something which is not fit for purpose!

Unusable and inaccurate information. I have not used this website for a few years but I remember it was better than this.
Simple journeys that I know of show odd and overcomplicated routes. Inaccessible.

Bus Services are available that app doesn’t show. Trying to enter destinations takes countless attempts as touching on the required location fails to register a hit and repeatedly fails. Any minor discrepancy sends you back to start again over and over! Massively frustrating site to use! Desperately in need of a professional overhaul!

Quite poor website which does not give adequate information to make a journey. And does not contain all the stops here in Gravesend Kent. You must also pay for the phone information and the text service making it therefore impossible to do for a young person not very inclusive.

Put the old app back on, totally useless.. Disgracefull😜

The new app is just not accurate. It is not as easy to navigate as the old one. I think they should go back to the old one until they have sorted out the issues.

this company should have left the old traveling app as it was. This new version is total rubbish. put in favorite train journey, and got results for buses. put it in again manually, and it said "couldn't find any journeys"

The updated Traveline app is terrible to navigate.It worked perfectly before so why was it changed ? Certainly not for the better alas.

There is a bus stop near my home that displays no information about the bus services that use it, just a phone number that turned out to be for Traveline. Called the number to find out where the bus went to - no reply. Googled Traveline, got an updated number, tried that, still no-one answering. E-mailed Traveline several days ago via their website, and have just got what appears to be a standard email response, completely ignoring my question and just giving instructions on how to use their online journey planner. Which requires me to enter a destination. Which I don't know as I don't know which buses use the stop. Hopeless.

Traveline ? Nice idea, but takes so many hours to get a result. Want a bus from Point A to Point B?

Type in the details and who knows, maybe a few hours later, some sort of response may come through. I've a perfectly OK internet connection, but it's quicker to walk to the local bus station and/or railway station and check times, than rely on Traveline (Nb. Still waiting for a time for the bus going to Newcastle, via Traveline. May be disabled, with a dozen broken bones in the past 13 months alone, but walking to the bus station? Bus leaves in 7 minutes time)

Pathetic. Cancelled without notice. Bus from pine lakes to kendal 1445hrs.
Avoid use if at all possible.
