Unresolved refund after stopping my UK ETA application

I paid on my phone believing this was an official government website. I only realised after payment that it was a private agency. I could not find a clear disclosure on the mobile pages I used, including the footer when I checked again.

I stopped the remaining application steps and requested a refund. Despite contacting the company by email and through its website, my refund issue remains unresolved.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the information provided before payment and the handling of my refund request. I would not use this service again.

J’ai payé 80 € pour une demande d’ESTA alors que le tarif officiel est de 35 €. Je me suis ensuite rendu compte que je souhaitais annuler ma demande et j’ai demandé le remboursement, conformément à leur propre politique de remboursement.

Depuis ma demande d’annulation, plus aucune nouvelle et aucun remboursement, malgré mes relances.

Je déconseille fortement ce site. Soyez très vigilants et vérifiez bien que vous êtes sur le site officiel avant de payer votre ESTA, afin d’éviter de payer plus du double du tarif officiel.

I paid $109 for TravelAuth to assist with my ESTA application because I wanted help making sure everything was completed correctly.

Unfortunately, my experience so far has been extremely frustrating.

After payment, my application showed as incomplete because of a missing passport national identification number, but there was no clear field available for me to provide the information. There was also a selfie-upload section that told me I could upload the selfie “before payment,” despite the fact that I had already paid.

I contacted customer support by email on Sunday 27/09 to explain the problem and ask them to resolve it. It is now Tuesday and I still have not received a response. I also tried the WhatsApp number listed on their website, but the number is not available on WhatsApp.

I checked the official U.S. government ESTA system separately, and there is currently no application associated with my information, which is particularly concerning because I paid TravelAuth specifically to handle this process.

I have now requested a refund and am waiting to see how TravelAuth handles the situation.

At this point, I cannot recommend this service based on my experience. I paid a substantial amount for assistance with something time sensitive and have been left with an incomplete application, no response from customer support, and no evidence that an ESTA application has actually been submitted.

If TravelAuth resolves this and provides the service/refund appropriately, I will update this review.

This website is a scam. I strongly advise against using it.
