Supporting a developer with such strong UK, European, and Commonwealth ties provides peace of mind regarding which country your money is going to.

The support staff are remarkably attentive and demonstrate a genuine commitment to helping their users. They provide clear guidance on how to use specific features effectively within the software. Their team is thorough when investigating bug reports, including more complex "unknown errors." This level of personalised assistance is rare in the software industry and adds significant value to the product.

Though they advertise that licensed purchased are "lifetime" and you only have to pay for upgrades, recently I discovered they removed the download links to the version I paid for because of "security reasons". I call B.S. They are no security concerns. They just wanted to make more money. Sorry Tracker Software: While I was planning to actually add more users to my subscription and even pay for maintanence, not anymore! I don't do business with scammers.

I also want to mention I DID contact their support and they refused to help because somehow providing legacy links (how??) was enabling "pirating" their software (and sorry whats that got to do with me a paying customer?). I provided them with a purchase invoice too.

With that said, despite their unethical business practices, the software itself is good and even works fine on linux with wine.

This company at first sold its PDF product as is, without any subscriptions or annual fees. They then "discovered" annual "maintenance" fees and require previous customers to then purchase those fees, otherwise fixing "buy" watermarks on customers' PDF document printouts. This practice is unethical and points to a corrupt company ethos.

Dauernd Werbung. Zu aufdringlich!

selbsterklärend, leichte Bedienung, spart mir viel Zeit ein, kaum mehr Ausdrucke oder Scans, bin sehr zufrieden

für mich relevant sind die Funktionen Signatur mit Originalunterschrift, bearbeiten von Texten, pdf-s zusammenfügen und sortieren, raus Messen von Flächen und Längen maßstabsgetreu

Totalt dumt program, prøvede deres prøve version og det endte med at ødelægge mit dokument, med et vandmærke...så jeg skulle købe jeres program for at fjerne mærket..

Prima di acquistare una licenza di questo eccezionale software, ho provato diversi altri, quasi tutti,
non ho particolari esigenze però occupandomi di transazioni bancarie, assicurative, pagamenti online di bollette per
me e per la famiglia succede di dover trasferire, redigere, convertire, ridimensionare, eseguire "OCR" di documenti
"PDF" scansionati e non.
Anche se eseguio queste operazioni in modo non professionale sono stato catturato da "PDF-XChange", perchè
non utilizza grandi risorse del pc e tutte le modifiche si possono effettuare in modo rapido e chiaro (annullamento
modifica è presente), e quando non capisco "come fare" una ricerca nell'aiuto in linea (ben fatto) chiarisce tutto!
Gli utenti avanzati troveranno qui molte funzioni professionali!
La possibilità di gestire le licenze senza chiedere interventi al supporto è eccezionale, altri editor non lo
fanno, sono molto contento di aver trovato "PDF-XChange" che ho acquistato nella versione plus.
Il costo è buono perchè questo editor per me ha il livello dei migliori (Acrobat, Foxit, Sodapdf, etc.)
quindi consiglio a tutti di provarlo, non ve ne pentirete!
Solo di due cose non sono molto contento e sono:
1) Conversione in Word con estensione DOCX, la visualizzazione del documento è compatibile solo con versioni recenti di
"Office", a partire dalla 2016 e anche altre suite come "office" sia free che pro non funzionano correttamente, sarebbe
meglio offrire la possibilità di conversione in Word anche in formato DOC più compatibile con editor/viewer differenti
da "Office Microsoft".
2) Redazione di un documento avviene sul file originale, quindi bisogna avere un'altra copia, altrimenti avrai
il documento originale modificato! In altri software la redazione avviene con salvataggio in nuovo file!

Before purchasing a license of this great software, I tried several others, almost all of them,
I have no particular needs, however, dealing with banking transactions, insurance, online bill payments for
me and for the family it happens to have to transfer, edit, convert, resize, perform "OCR" of documents
"PDF" scanned and not.
Even though I perform these operations unprofessionally I have been captured by "PDF-XChange", why
it does not use large PC resources and all changes can be made quickly and clearly (undo work fine), and when not
I understand "how to do" a search in the online help (well done) clarifies everything!
Advanced users will find many professional features here!
The ability to manage licenses without asking support is great, other editors don't do this, I am very happy
to have found "PDF-XChange" that I bought in the plus version.
The cost is good because this editor for me has the level of the best (Acrobat, Foxit, Sodapdf, etc.)
so I recommend everyone to try it, you won't regret it!
Only on two things I'm not very happy and they are:
1) Converting to Word with DOCX extension, viewing/editing of the document is only compatible with recent versions of
"Office", starting from 2016 and also other suites free and pro, and "office alternative" do not work correctly, it would be
better to offer the possibility of conversion into Word even in DOC format more compatible with common editors/viewers
in alternative to "Microsoft Office".
2) Redaction of a document takes place on the original file, so you need to have another copy, otherwise you will have
the original document modified! In other software the redaction takes place with saving in a new file.

This review is about PDF XChange Editor version 7. I simply love this tool to create, edit and protect PDF documents, and regularly use it to edit invoices and also input notes in existing documents. It's REALLY easy to use and the interface is great too. The final rendering of created PDF documents is excellent. I bought a more recent professional PDF Editor (PDF Architect, not to name it) and actually found it way inferior to PDF XChange —Much slower to create documents, not easy to use, not ergonomic, and a design that is not as pleasant as PDF XChange). This tool is SIMPLY GREAT and comes with a bunch of useful features for professionals.

Die Software PDF-XChange Viewer ist für mich das Programm, das ich nutze, um .pdf-Dateien zu betrachten.
Die letzte Ausgabe der Freeversion erschien am 13. 12. 2018 und wird leider nicht mehr weiterentwickelt. Das Programm ist schlank und verbraucht bei weitem nicht soviel Platz wie der Acrobat Reader von Adobe.
Für mich ist diese Software absolut ausreichend.
Ich habe auch Konkurrenzprodukte wie den Foxit Reader ausprobiert, schlußendlich aber wieder PDF-XChange Viewer installiert und werde wohl auch dabei bleiben es sei denn, es gibt irgendwann einmal eine gute Alternative dazu.

Been using the free/unlicenced version for years. Very many features are free, so I didn't need to pay anything.
If you chose to use a non-free feature, the app will do it (so you can see the exact results), but will add a "DEMO" watermark.
Now switched to the paid-for version, which gives me ALL features and 1 year of updates. After that year, I can pay to extend, or just keep using that paid-for version indefinitely, but no more updates.
I looked hard at all the competing products before parting with my money and found PDF XChange editor had the features I wanted at a good price. The user interface takes a bit of getting-used-to. It's a very powerful app but not as intuitive as some others.
If you're looking for something easy to use, this may not be right for you. If you're a power user, you will love it! Anything in-between... try it out and see if it works for you.

I use PDF-XChange already for a long time and it's a great PDF-viewer with a lot of features. I had to get used to it. I use the feature to add remarks a lot. I don't use paper anymore.
I bought the pro version a year ago to use more advanced features. I had an issue with fillable PDF. They helped me very quickly. Support is really great.

Don't buy from this company. Your license will become no more valid after a time and you will not be able to install even the paid version. SCAM alert
