I must say Townend are a fantastic Estate Agents, with a knowledge of the area second to none!
From the initial meeting for the valuation, Martin knew the area, houses and the demand, so was able to get the best possible price.
The team at Townend were all great and were great to deal with, special mention to Josh for all his hard work!
Our initial buyers pulled out of the purchase, which we thought would cause the purchase of our new house to fall through, but no, Townend already had a list of people that had wanted to view the house, re-sold within one day!
Once the sale was agreed, you would imagine that Townend would be out of the picture, but they worked to ensure the Conveyancers were on the ball and provided regular updates on the process.
Buying a house is stressful as it is, Townend were the silver lining, I would have no hesitation in using them again or recommending them.

Probably the only good thing about the moving process was Townend (and their recommended surveyor Nick Wood). Josh was brilliant from start to finish and basically at one point saved our sale from falling through. I was initially dubious of using a smaller firm but having dealt with the larger companies during this process who were frankly useless in comparison, I have no hesitation in recommending Townend Estate Agents.

An outstanding performance from a genuine family team. Through quite a protracted sale process they stuck at it & were excellent prompt communicators throughout, very patient and knowledgeable. I would thoroughly recommend their friendly & helpful team.

My enquiries were dealt with promptly and they were always on standby to assist with progressing the transaction. Overall, a very good experience!

I had my house up for sale with Townend for 13 months. Kept getting offers on it and kept been let down but together we stuck with it and in the end we got a sale. All throughout the process Townend kept in touch with me constantly so I always knew where I was with proceedings. When the sale came through we had nowhere to move to so Townend quickly fixed us up with a rental which we are highly delighted with and it takes the pressure off us in not having to panic buy now. Martin Townsend sold the original house to me with total professionalism so when it came to reselling mine I chose to deal with them. At first they managed tenants for me for three years from start to finish, any gardening jobs or repairs, I just left it with them to handle so I was totally stress free. After 3 years I decided to sell at the most difficult time for anyone to encounter, covid, however, they kept their cool, told me not to worry, kept me informed at all times about the buyers. Mostly I relished their personal attention and attention to detail at all times. Nothing was ever too much and can’t praise the whole team for looking after my house. I was living in Spain so needed someone totally reliable. Thank you.

Kudos to whole Townends team. I bought the property with them as selling agents in late 2019, and was impressed to return to them as managing agents in spring 2020 when COVID19 struck and I was furloughed with closed office which forced me to rent out. Kept the ball rolling during the Covid 19 lockdown period, enabling the sale to go ahead and complete. The experience within Townend was one of the main reasons for this.
