Just a note to extend my thanks to the TS Team and Richard for his time and patience passing on his knowledge and providing me with a greater understanding of all aspects of the EV world.

Whilst I had a reasonable understanding I really enjoyed getting a deeper understanding of the design aspect. It was an intense 4 days of learning but Richard’s teaching skills made it an enjoyable experience.

My decision to travel 150 miles to spend two days on an 18th Edition update course was purely driven by the Google reviews I read. I'm sure there were plenty of other, closer, training providers I could have used, but you know what, once I'd read how everyone had raved about this company, my decision was made.

And was it worth it? Very much so. Good communications every step of the way. Easy to find. They recommended a local Premier Inn being a 20 minute walk from them.. and it was a 20 minute walk. Premier Inn having no problems with me leaving my car there each day. Even better with the glorious weather we are experiencing at the moment.

The course itself was quite a bit different from when I did my 17th Edition. Then it was all about getting page numbers into the index to save time in finding answers. This time our instructor, Chris advised us ( we were a small class of 4), that C&G now structured their exam from Part 1 to Part 8 and Appendices with so many questions from each section running from Part 1 to Part 8 in that order. Page numbers in the index were not required. All in all a good two days, with plenty of Q&A and a great pass mark - one very happy customer and, a highly recommended training company. You won't be disappointed.

Came across easily to understand helpful and knowledgeable

A massive thank you to TOTAL SKILLS, I passed my 2391-52 Inspection and Testing! The course material taught by Richard was second to none and practical sessions with Kris meant that I felt ready to undertake the assessments as soon as it was time. Both tutors were very helpful and answered any questions to point me in the right direction needed! I would HIGHLY recommend undertaking any courses here but especially the 2391-52! I will be back to under take further courses when the need arises!

First of all, I would like to sincerely thank TOTAL SKILLS for helping me complete 2391-52 in such a short period of time. To be honest, this course was not as easy to pass as I initially imagined—it was actually quite a challenging subject. However, under the guidance of TOTAL SKILLS instructor Richard, I was able to quickly organize and understand the previously confusing knowledge in my mind. They also provided plenty of practice materials, which were more than enough to prepare me for multiple exams.

In addition to the theoretical lessons, the practical training instructors continuously pointed out my mistakes during my learning process, allowing me to learn from them and quickly correct my habitual errors. As a result, I was able to successfully pass the exam within a short period of time.

First rate value for money excellent service

I have recently passed my 2365 Level 2 + 3, using the home study diploma package.
Living over 3 hours away from Nottingham, this was perfect.
The app especially is amazing with lots of content, including videos and practice exams, it is everything you need in one.
The practical training days are also great, the staff are so patient with newcomers to the field

I found totalskills to be more than helpful in many ways, to begin with I booked to sit an online exam in December 2024 for the 18th edt bs7671, however due to work commitments I had to cancel and request a refund which total skills did so immediately with no hesitation, then I rebooked another online exam in January 2025 but due to Internet problems my end I contacted totalskills and Mrinal helped me out by fitting me into their class to sit the exam, more than happy and received proof of pass the same day which was Friday and received my pass city and guilds certificate the following Monday morning, I found totalskills very welcoming with Lucy offering me use of the kitchen for refreshments before and after the exam, a really pleasant experience.

We can highly recommend Total Skills, the team were very efficient and supportive. We needed to change the date of the exam and they facilitated everything quickly and efficiently. We will definitely use them again, thank you.

Level 2 and Level 3 Electrical Installations.

The flexibility of the courses, offered by Total Skills, really suited my needs to balance studying and working a full-time job.

Assistance was always at hand whenever I needed a query answered via their live-chat facility, or even by email.

The course tutors were professional, approachable and patient - a big thanks to all of the TS team.

I definitely wouldn’t hesitate to return to Total Skills, to complete more of their courses - some time in the future.

I completed my level 3 2365 (Distance Learning) The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

A great hub to have and help through your Electrical learning, the Staff are always helpful and friendly.
The App they use is brilliant and easy to use the booking of exams could be improved with more dates made available.
But this is a great way to train as an Electrician and having Total Skills there makes learning comfortable.

I recently finished my level 3 2365 with total skills after starting about a year previous (Distance Learning). After looking at other providers for distance learning and contacting different companies I decided to go with them due to the flexibility around booking exams and practicals. Overall the course content was excellent and the mock exams at the end of each unit was ideal and enabled me to pass my exams first time round. The practical sessions were very good and Kris’s knowledge and guidance was great. Any questions or feedback was dealt with timely and I am glad i decided to do my level 3 with total skills.

I recently attended Total Skills for Solar and Battery Storage training. The whole experience was first class, from the initial communication through to the exam. Very relaxed classroom, very knowledgable staff. I would encourage anyone looking at Total Skills for training to use them. Many Thanks.

The standard of teaching was poor and left a lot to be desired,
Whilst ever I passed the course it was more luck than a reflection of the teaching,
Awarded 2 stars for the convenience of the location only,

Really enjoying completing my level 3 with Total Skills. The online study is easy to use and comprehensive. The time in the classroom is great, facilities are as good as it gets and the tutors are knowledgeable, know how to teach and personable. Well worth driving up from Brighton and superior to other providers that are closer IMO. Highlighly recommended.

A big THANK YOU to the whole team for substantive presentation of knowledge during the Inspection and Testing Course which made it easier for me to pass the exam.

I am very satisfied with choosing the Total Skills Centre and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who wishes to take any electrical courses. I, of course, will be back for more soon.
