My second time buying a van from Time Motors! Another very friendly and helpful experience, will come again as and when I need to.

Really pleased with the van that was purchased from Time Motors. Exactly as described, in great condition at a very good price. Customer service and communication is excellent. A very good, honest company to deal with and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I brought a corsa from time motors as my first car , it was amazing customer service and easy process. The whole experience was enjoyable and the car has been reliable and no issues since.

AVOID TIME MOTORS!!

What should have been a proud moment buying a van for our small Doggy Daycare business (less than a year old) has turned into a complete nightmare.

Within 24 hours of collection, we reported faults. In just three months of ownership, the van has spent over two months off the road, with the latest breakdown resulting in serious engine failure and requiring police to close the road to safely recover the vehicle. The van is now SORN and unusable.

We have already spent £3,000+ on repairs, with total losses now around £15,000, including lost revenue, insurance, replacement vehicles and legal costs.

Zed, the “Relationship Manager”, refuses to speak to us by phone and has been extremely unprofessional throughout. We felt we were subjected to gender bias and discriminatory treatment and repeatedly dismissed when trying to resolve serious issues.

Jon, who initially seemed helpful, is now disputing conversations and agreements we had with him. We are having to extract audio from our own facility CCTV to evidence conversations and agreements we had with him and Time Motors.

They will likely respond about the Gold Warranty. This only covers £500, and despite repairs being accepted by the warranty company, they have refused to release the funds.

As with their other review responses, they will likely claim we have driven around 9,000 miles since purchase. We have driven less than 700 miles ourselves, with around half of that being the journey from Nottingham to the North on the day of collection. The van has spent most of our ownership off the road.

We already have a Money Claim against Time Motors and, due to the value of the vehicle and our total losses, have now had to instruct a solicitor to pursue the matter through the main courts.

We have been patient, honest and followed their instructions throughout. This is a small business relying on its vehicle to operate, and Time Motors have shown no understanding of the financial and operational damage this has caused.

We have invested everything into building our business, and we are now facing the possibility of having to close because of the consequences of this situation.

Avoid this company at ALL costs!

Jon was really helpful, a great easy experience to buy a new van. Easy to part exchange my vehicle, with a good price offered. I would highly recommend them.

Friendly staff always available to discuss any issues. Easy to make appointments to view and test drive vehicles. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend.

Great service and good people to deal with

I purchased a van from Time Motors on 2 March 2026 for £8,100, with approximately 118,000 miles on the clock.

Within less than six months of ownership, and after driving only around 1,400 miles, the van developed serious problems including overheating and oil contamination in the coolant.

The van required major repairs including head gasket work, cylinder head work and replacement of the turbocharger. The total repair bill was £2,945.53, with a £500 warranty contribution, leaving me to pay approximately £2,444 myself.

I appreciate that some maintenance items, such as the timing belt and water pump, may have been due due to the age and mileage of the vehicle, and I am not trying to blame the dealer for normal maintenance.

However, I was extremely disappointed to face major engine repairs and a substantial bill after owning the van for less than six months and covering only around 1,400 miles.

I also queried whether the turbo could be claimed separately under the warranty, but this was refused because I was told it was not “fully broken”, despite the repairing garage ultimately replacing the turbo.

To be fair, Time Motors did provide a courtesy van while mine was being repaired, which I appreciated.

Overall, I feel extremely disappointed to have been left with such a large repair bill so soon after purchasing the van.

Good honest friendly environment to purchase a vehicle Jon is an excellent advocate for time motors 10/10

My husband had an issue with his van which he took out only a few months ago. Zed once again provided us with excellent service end sorted the van for us, no extra cost! Very grateful!

I purchased a used Toyota Hilux from Jon at Time Motors and their after sales care was excellent. There were a few minor issues that Time agreed to sort before I purchased the vehicle. When I went to collect the truck I noticed quite a big dent on the front wing that somehow I hadn't noticed before. Without quibble they agreed to get a fixed and it was sorted when i collected a week or so later. The air con wasnt working when I test drove the truck and they agreed to have it fixed for me as part of the deal. They had it regassed before I collected but it became apparant it still wasn't working. They had their garage look at it for me and re-gassed it for me again - it worked for a week and then packed up again. Without quibble they had it back to their garage again, this time they found a very tiny leak, fixed it and re-gassed it again! That fixed it and it has been fine since. For various reasons this was nearly 3 months after I pruchased the truck - at no point did they try and wriggle out of fixing the air con despite the costs involved. Overall a good buying experience and excellent after sales support.
