All fine in the end

Order was confirmed as was dispatch email but then received another email the next day saying it was out of stock in the warehouse. Took an extra week to arrive but I was kept informed all along the way and the product that arrived was as described.

Very good service AGAIN

After making a phone call to see if my Garmin 590LM was in stock and was told yes
I ordered online and and paid then the next day got a email to say out of stock for a couple of days
After a phone call that reassured me that i would have it by the weekend
It did not turn up ????
the item turned up on Monday
But must say it was worth the wait
I would not hesitate to use this company again

GARMIN IN CAR CAMERA

I purchased this Garmin in-car camera believing it to be a brand new unit. What I received was a factory refurbished one and I feel totally cheated and angry. N.O.H. apparently stands for NEWLY OVERHAULED how would the average person know that? The gentleman. in the shop admitted their website was misleading. I also paid for a Royal Mail first class service and the parcel was sent on a 48 hour delivery timeslot. I have never used this company before I shall certainly never use them again.

Have been looking for this product for a while, This was the cheapest by far.

Product was ordered late on the 16th and arrives 1st thing this morning.
That was just on standard delivery.

Poor experience and customer service

I had used Global GPS previously, and had a good experience. So when I needed to use them again I had no hesitation in doing so.
I placed my order for a hire satnav 8 working days before I was due to fly. I was contacted 3 working days before I flew by a team member asking me when I wanted the unit, and they said they would dispatch it immediately. I had set the delivery address as my work address to make life easier.
So on the last possible day I could receive it there was still no sign of the hire unit, so I rang up late morning only to be reassured that it would be with me that day.
Fast forward to 4.30pm and still no sign....
I eventually got through to someone at 4.45pm, only to be told that the unit wouldn't arrive until the next day!
At this point I received an apology and was told that I would receive a full refund. I explained that I had ordered the satnav for a specific purpose, and asked what they were expecting me to do instead at such short notice that wouldn't incur substantial extra cost. I was just met with an apology and nothing else.
I was expecting them to offer some form of compensation, or to offer to meet some of my extra costs that I would incur, but received nothing but a firm apology and professional hand washing that was due to no fault of my own.
The previous time I had used Global GPS I was very satisfied, but now I cannot recommend them at all.

I am sorry to hear of the issue you have had regarding your purchase.
When the order was put through there was no details of where and when you was leaving that why we had to contact you. We are aware that It was last minute that you was contacted and that this has caused a lot of inconvenience for you. We did get this sent out on the 17th on next day so as far as we knew this should of arrived on the 18th but unfortunately it didn't. we do not know why it was not delivered within the specified 24hr service royal mail provide. We are glad to hear that our service satisfied you the first time and can only apologies for this hire.

Poor customer service, No communication

What can i say, i should have trusted my initial instinct instead of giving this company the benefit of the doubt.

I bought a refurbished Dyson which specified delivery between 3 to 5 days. After waiting a week i decided to contact customer services. It took a long time for the call to be answered (infact i had to try quite a few times before i got through). After i explained the situation i was told that there was a supply issue and that one would be sent out soon. Two days later i finally had my Dyson.

Upon unpacking the item one of the wheels fell out of the packaging! Great! When i called back i was told that they would fix or replace but i had to front the cost of the delivery... i couldnt afford to do this at the time so had no choice but to keep it and try to use it as it was.

Within a week of using the unit began loosing suction intermittently and soon after stopped working all together (pipes were all clear). Again i found it very difficult to get through to anyone at customer services... when i did get through i was informed that a new one would be sent to me although i wasn't surprised to be told i had to send it back at my cost... however i was told that it could be refunded.

I had the unit sent back the next day. I allowed another week before i contacted them to see when i would expect another Dyson. I was told that ir was with the refurbishment team and they have to check their supply. I requested someone to contact me to let me know when it would be delivered.

I never received a call and it was another week before i found an email to complain. I insisted on having a refund since they cannot supply me with what i paid for. I had a reply to say that a refund would be made and i should wait 3-5 working days.

After 5 working days i checked my accounts, no refund. After another email i was assured the refunds had been made and again i should wait 3-5 working days. That evening i noticed the postage fees had been refunded to my bank account. But the refund for the Dyson is still yet to make an appearance.

I hope this review is helpful to someone... I have learnt my lesson!

Hello Vickki, Very sorry about this as the referbs have to be stripped and cleaned and then they have to be sent to us it can sometimes take longer than 3-5 days and i can understand that this would be frustrating not receiving it within that time frame. Sorry to hear that it was damaged when it got to you unfortunately this isn't due to our fault it would be down to royal mail. The vacuum would have to of been replaced as it was not able to be fixed but there was none available that was ready to be sent out. The lack of communication is not good and we take this into consideration and will look into making it better. Also sorry for the delay of the refund also we try to get all refunds processed as quick as we can it took longer as we had to get the manager to do a bank transfer.
Apologies for your experience with our company and for any trouble this has caused you

Load of rubbish - you give me pain

Worst internet company I have ever dealt with in my 26 years of life. How on earth can a company be so incompetent.
I ordered a suction cup and was told it would take 1-2 days to deliver, I thought wow, that's awesome. They were cheap and wonderful I thought. So I gladly ordered my suction cup, excited about it coming in 2 days time so I could go on a nice road trip with my wonderful girlfriend.

I received an email from the company saying it will be delayed 2 days, I thought hmm, that's not too bad I can handle that. I am a big guy, I can wait.

So I forgot about it as I was busy at work, then suddenly 8 days later from when I received the email about the delay I thought where is my suction cup. I had a moment of horror and realised it hadn't come. I decided let me call this company, maybe there was a genuine reason why it didn't come. I called the company and asked where is my order, I was told wait another 2 days. I was literally in shock, my heart nearly sank. I asked why, he said that's how it is, that is life for you. So I asked for compensation for the delay. He said NO. No chance, so asked for a refund, he said yes then hung up on me. I was confused, so I called back and asked if the phone line went dead. He told me no he hung up on me, I asked why, he said he wanted to.

So I asked him to confirm the refund, he said yes you will get the money refunded. I said thank you. I hope they process the refund quickly rather than in 8 days.

Please do not order for this useless company, you will suffer a painful agonising wait for your order.

I do understand how infuriating it can be when you make a purchase and get told it will be delayed. I'm sorry to hear that after 8 day you still had not received your product. In regards to the phone call we was not aware of this until this review was left. We have spoken to this employee as it is unacceptable you was spoken to like this and it will be delt with.

Garmin

Purchased a refurbished unit as previous one had died after 4 years of daily use.
Opted for the same model as very pleased with the features and lifetime map updates and saved myself about £50 as well

Excellent Service - First Time Buyer

I have never dealt with Global GPS before and found purchasing on the website to be very clear and easy. There was a quick response to the order and then one item was found to be out of stock.
All steps of the process I was kept informed on with the item being obtained quickly and delivered in good time and well packaged.

Their service was more than 5* and I would look to use them again.

Keep up the good work and customer information support.

Excellent service

I can thoroughly recommend Global GPS. From my initial telephone enquiry to the delivery of my car GPS unit, it was efficient at every step of the way. I was kept informed at each stage of the process and all promises were kept. Once the unit was obtained, delivery was next day....excellent.
