Had a slow puncture, and as I’d previously used VassTech for VW services on my T-Roc, and had confidence in them, I called to make an appointment.
Pleased to say, the team got me in on the same day I called them, and repaired the tyre.
However, when after getting home, the next day, it was evident that the puncture / tyre was still losing air, so telephoned the team once again, who said to take the car back later that day.
Having reviewed it the engineers, identified that the tyre rim had not properly sealed, and reseated this and got me on the way.
The reception team and staff at this garage are first class, and it’s re-assuring that the reception team have accumulated great engineering knowledge to support the team.
Far more assuring than a main VW dealership, and friendly banter from all. Would strongly recommend. 👍

Absolutely shocking service! From the receptionist to ‘mechanics’ to the director. I took my transporter to vasstech last year with a sticking clutch pedal and an intermediate misfire, they had the van for over 4 WEEKS! Took £4550 from me and give me it back with the exact same faults still present! They threw parts at it (at my expense) in the hope it fixed it as they didn’t have a clue! You would have thought it was a fighter jet not a van the way they were going on.
I had to take it to another garage for the misfire to be sorted (fuel regulator) and after doing only 7000 miles the flywheel and clutch (that vasstech assured me was right even tho I insisted repeatedly I wanted them changing as I’d had the same issue with another van before and it was the flywheel) failed (massive play on flywheel with deep scores in plates all the way round) and the gearbox went with it. The gearbox which vasstech also claimed to have repaired which somehow their gearbox man diagnosed from a photo!?
Total cost is getting upto £5000 for full gearbox rebuild and new clutch and flywheel (the EXACT same things vasstech claimed to have changed/fixed) , court proceedings will be started when I get my final total costs.

DO NOT use these ‘specialists’!! They really really do not have a clue!

Vasstech did a fantastic job for me. Clutch on my Leon failed just as I was about to drive to North Wales to pick up my sister. AA got me to Vasstech late morning. The flywheel, clutch and slave cylinder needed to be replaced, which required a certain amount of engine disassembly. The guys worked hard on it and had ready for me by 4:00 pm so I could set of for North Wales.
I cannot praise Vasstech enough for their assistance in my time of need.

Outstanding service, great value and thorough.
After several garages failed to find an oil leak Vasstech not only found the problem they fixed it and provided a courtesy car. Car was valeted upon completion and the charges were amazing and came as a very pleasant surprise considering what had to be fixed and replaced.
Can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you.

Had a troublesome vw up with intermittent starting problem
Lookers had it in and out for weeks we had 4 aa tows.
And even had to tow it to vasstech.
Who solved the problem due to broken wire from ecu to relay.
Can't thank them enough a great reception team and of course the mechanics.

I called up initially to ask a few questions and got straight forward answers. They gave me good advice based off of previous experiences which really eased my nerves since this is the first time I have been to this garage.

When I asked about prices, they gave me clear answers with sneaky hidden fees. Good communication about when they can get the car booked in.

Connor and the staff at Vasstech are a breath of fresh air in an industry which tends to have such a negative reputation. I went in to discuss a problem I was having with my Golf clutch and was immediately impressed with Connor’s mechanical knowledge and the professional setup that Vasstech have in Durham. Whilst the car was being fixed (not a straight forward job), Connor kept me up to speed with progress, what parts were needed and how much the cost would be (which was very reasonable). A big thanks to Connor and all the staff at Vasstech Durham. I’ll be back (but hopefully not for a while!).

i had my last MOT done and repairs afterward, very pleased with all the service and the team at the reception. Libby, Abby and Jack were very friendly and made me feel welcome and also gave me a lift home and back after my car was repaired. Thank you so much for everything - Gabriela

Vasstech brilliant service from Russ & Rob had a issue with my new car I bought with the heater matrix but this guys sorted it and dealt with the garage that I bought the car from to get the job approved for them to do it and either down to the payment from the garage paying for it. Plus I had the cam belt and water pump changed while they had it and Russ said needed the car 2 full days but I had the car back by 2pm the following day. I Would recommend anyone to use vasstech who own a vw or audi etc the guys are very clue up on this car as they are specialist in vw audi and seat etc. Russ & Rob and your team thanks again for your service and support and help 👍.

Great customer service from Libby and team when I called with an oil leak caused by an inadequate service with a different unassociated garage. My car was looked at promptly, problem identified and fixed within 30 minutes. Would definitely recommend.

The team at Vasstech Northallerton are absolutely brilliant. I’ve had 2 cars serviced, mot’d and repaired here and they are always honest, hardworking and actually care about their customers, which can be hard to find with a garage. 100% recommend them and will always bring my cars back here despite living in Teesside! Booked my MOT last minute, within 30 mins Vasstech got back to me confirming a slot. On the day I dropped the car off and the MOT was complete within 60 mins. All advisories were quoted and explained thoroughly. Will 100% use Vasstech as my garage now

I had an issue with the sound system in my Audi A4. My local garage had deleted the fault codes which made troubleshooting the issue a challenge. None the less Vasstech were able to diagnose the fault after an inspection. I went through my insurance provided and had VASSTECH perform the work. Gemma at VASSTECH provided awesome customer service, frequently updating me on the progress of the part order and liaising with the warranty provider. The car was in and out in a couple of hours and the fault now fixed. I will now use VASSTECH as my garage of choice for any repair works.

Excellent service, 2 weeks running- two different problems with my Audi. Away from home concerned about trusting a garage I hadn’t used before - well , what fantastic service. Highly recommend and Ruth at reception was exceptional.

I took my audi q5 into the main dealership where I purchased it from it was out if warranty and I had a problem with the tailgate sometimes it would open off the keyfob and sometimes not.
They informed me it was an electrical problem and the cost would be in the region of £500 which in my experience of their charges meant over ! It wasn't the end of my world so I declined.
I work in Darlington and just happened to mention it to a local car dealer he straight away told me to take it to Vasstech his exact words were they won't have you over like the main dealerships will.
I took it up to them and left the car within an hour they rang me and told me what the problem was and definitely less than £200 as they weren't 100% sure of the exact cost of the part.
The girls on reception were brilliant the mechanic was 1st class and the service I received was honest professional and a lot different to what I had experienced from the main dealerships.
I now have a company car and it has to go to the main dealer as part of the lease agreement otherwise I would be using Vasstech.

VASSTECH specialise in Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT and Skoda, but I was able to take my Hyundai in for a repair. They booked me in quickly and repaired the problem within 3 hours. It saved me a round trip of 30 miles to the main dealer, no parts were needed and the cost was very reasonable - not something I would expect from a main dealer! Thanks for the friendly, quick, efficient and honest way that you dealt with me.

I've used Vasstech for a few years now on three different car and have always found them to provide an excellent service, with polite staff and nice facilities. The courtesy cars have always been clean and well presented.
