I am a two-time success story for Tax Defense Group. I owed $70,000 to IRS and had no way to pay it. The first time, these knowledgeable case managers/enrolled agents were able to qualify me for a special program that worked for 4 years. The second time, I knew I was in good hands with Matt Sitler, who upon evaluating my situation gave me my final strategy, offer and compromise. Matt worked with me during the pandemic, assigning me to Alberto Ornelas, my former case manager whom I trusted. Be prepared to pay the retainer for all the work that must be done; it can be tedious, and take months, but it’s worth it—my offer and compromise was finally accepted for $1565.00 and I have peace of mind again!! Because they know what they’re doing, I can’t thank Matt, Alberto, and the entire Tax Defense Group team enough!!

I really derived pleasure from making use of the service which they offer. It was very profitable and saved me lots of money.

The company is a scam. They collect money for services that are unacceptable, IF they provide any service at all. I paid, got scammed, so letting anyone seeking info know this place is not real! Check out the company responses here, on Yelp and at BBB and see how defensive they are and how the issues all seem to be the fault of the customer. Non-response lowers their scores more so they respond with lies to at least say something. There is no transparency, no accountability, no customer SERVICE.

See Company response: Initial call was 10/14. I was to get a call back by 10/21, I didn't, today I'm told the person who did the return won't be in until 10/26 THEN I'll get a call (hasty? & yes I have receipts) someone is lying. Again a defensive response that makes clear I will have to wait because company management dodges accountability or is incapable of handling tax issues. More time was spent on crafting the complaint response than on trying to understand and address the issue. My initial question remains...

I had a real bad time during which the taxes were getting up month by month, and my business was getting smaller and smaller. I tried a few different sources to help get me out of trouble with the irs, but just continued to get worst. Then a friend recommended The Tax Defense Group, so I decided to try them out. After getting involved with them the irs letters and demands quit coming. At his point on my correspondence with the irs completely stopped,
all these letters and other correspondence were sent to The Tax Defense Group. This company not only releaved all my pressures from the irs but also has deleted over 170000 dollars from my tax owed. This company is very professional, and they know exactly what your needs are and stay on top of them. I have had a lot of conversations wih Anh and she has been a life saver to me. I'm most greatful to the Tax Defense Group in helping me resolve/lessen my tax debt to IRS! Due to the proverbial "fate and circumstances" and a "comedy of errors," I owed the IRS a fair amount of money from my 2017 tax return which has been hanging over my head ever since then, so I reached out to the Tax Defense Group for helping me reduce the amount of money I owed the IRS and they were incredibly helpful, professional and empathetic to my situation especially Arianna! :)

I want to start off by saying when I met Matt at the Tax Defense group I instantly felt at ease ... Matt explained to me my tax issues gave me an idea of what to expect. In a short time frame I realized that they were actually going to help me and the amount of attention that they gave me and the true care from a personal standpoint was amazing Matt and his team worked diligently to take my $40,000 debt to the Internal Revenue Service to a $3,500 settlement, I am truly grateful for all their hard work and not giving up when they ran into situations that most groups would have gave up on..
