Sometime last year in 2023, I began searching online with the intent of finding a hat making company who specialized in FULLY CUSTOM hat making.

A vast majority of websites i found thus far, would only let you customize small or specific areas of the hat, and overall just not offer the option to customize the hat from scratch down to the very fabrics, shape and designs. The/Studio was the exception.

I had never heard of The/Studio before, and i most CERTAINLY wasn't aware of their credibility and legitimacy; but they were the ONLY website that i could find that offered the level of customizing i was looking for. So, i went forward with them!

The person who worked with me right off the bat by the name of Kristine Carrey, was EXTREMELY helpful through and through. They were able to answer and guide me through some of the questions i had about their website, as well as overall creation process!

Since this hat was meant to be more of a personal item for myself, I had no need for ordering more than two copies, and i was not sure if i would be able to go through with ordering just two copies. But they reassured me that this was still fine, even if it falls out of the "10 hats minimum" price deal they were offering. Which i didn't mind paying a little more for at all.

After working through the initial negotiations and sending in my designs for what the hat would look like (shout outs to Pukka.inc's hat mockup making webpage!), i was quickly set up with an account to keep a watchful eye on the order, and it's development process. An estimated time frame was also presented to give me an idea of when i could expect to see an visual update of the mock-up for reviewing.

There were some minor hiccups with using the files i sent in, but were quickly fixed by me ASAP, and before i knew it, we were quickly on the road to final approval process to have it sent to me!

I couldn't be any happier with the results and i can't possibly thank this company enough for helping to bring this EXTREMELY ambitious idea of mine to life.

I most certainly WILL be back in the near future if i should ever have a need for creating other hat ideas, or similar designs!!

A fantastic company that worked with me very closely and with great patience as I fumbled about. Gigi Perla specifically was a blessing and the foundational reason I chose The Studio for work on my project.

Communication was great! The design edit and approval process couldn't have been better. The pins arrived early and are really well done!

I have used The Studio for several years and have never been disappointed. I ordered late one year, and they were amazing and made sure I had my order on time. I cannot express enough how wonderful their staff is to work with.

They were very responsive to my request, providing a mockup quickly based on my specifications, and turning it around very promptly. Staff were helpful and prices reasonable. I will certainly use them again!

I have worked with this company on many projects through the years. The last couple of runs have had issues, and this current one is all out hell.
Every few days I get an email request to "approve" something I already approved weeks ago. I have done this a few times now. I asked if the first approval was even produced and no response. I asked if the 2nd approval was produced, but there is no response.
Also, they like to send the approval emails on Fridays (good strategy to pretend to buy weekend time).
This is not the company I worked with years ago. Whoever is in charge clearly does not know how to run a company nor has a vision of success.
I am becoming so frustrated that I am considering starting my own embroidery business to go into competition.
Also, I never asked for a timeline. I just kept getting pushed week after week. I started this in May, and we are now in mid-July.
P.S. I suspect they will reach out through here faster than messaging or email or phone call. So if I get a response that does not kick the issue down another week or 2, then this is worth it.

This company has extremely poor customer service. They will take multiple days to respond to the simplest of questions, thus causing delays and continuously pushing your delivery time back. They might respond in an hour, they might respond in 2 days, or you might have to hunt them down on day 5 and ask why your question hasn't been addressed. And if you complain I recommend going with another company.

My projects with The Studio have all turned out super good. Each one was shepherded along with care and good advice from Studio staff. They've helped me make patches and lapel pins that my clients treasure. Bravo!

We came to The/Studio needing help with a VERY rush order due to complications on our end and they came through beyond our wildest dreams. Not only did they listen to our needs, they were honest about what we could expect, worked with us to rush the order, were upfront on the fees, made sure that I was keeping up with all the communications they needed (which were not at all onerous, but the rushed nature of our job meant things had to happen very quickly). The designers were great to work with and were able to turn out something spectacular in extraordinary circumstances. This company proves that customer service and customer success are still alive and well in 2024.

When we got the products, our team was beyond thrilled with the outcome. We are already planning our next purchases and know that we will be in great hands when we do.

I have done two projects with thestudio.com. Both turned out very well (an embroidered patch and a challenge coin). I have already recommended them to friends who want to do something similar. I did have some problems visualizing the coin through the draft review process to see what the item will look like. It was not clear the depth of the engraving or how fine the detail could be to turn out well. The designers and I went back and forth using their draft tool a couple times and got it the way I wanted it. The execution of the physical patch and the physical coins are simply amazing! They look and feel great and I have received many compliments on their quality.

The staff from The Studio was the most professional and patient people that I have ever worked with! The coin that I had in mind they made countless edits at no charge to make sure I was 100% pleased with it and when I received the coins they were so much better than the picture of the sample. They gave me a huge discount and I can’t thank them enough for that. I have already recommended The Studio to my peers and people that are looking to design coins. I will also be using them again as long as I need things designed!! Thank you so much!!!

Everything was handled extremely well and went smoothly. The wait time was much shorter than expected.

I have had work done by the studio in the past. This order was different in that I had a crazy time line and needed it fat. The customer service people were patient and extremely helpful every step of the way on this order. Not only did they get my order out to me 3 days before the event where these were to be the central focus, Their team followed up with me every step of the way to the delivery.

I had a great experience with TheStudio (making a custom embroidered patch). The customer service and design teams were very helpful as we worked through a few modifications (to line thickness, color changes, threads, etc.) They have a good review and approval system. The ordering process was easy, the production speed was fast, and the shipping time was great. And, perhaps most important--the patches look great!

I needed patches for students going on a study abroad program with my university. I worked with a customer service representative named Nice Crispim, who guided me through the options for the patches (size, backing, embroidery/woven, etc.). This was my first time navigating the university's purchasing procedures, which involved many delays and changes on my end.

I must give Nice a ton of credit for being professional and patient as I worked through all the administrative back-and-forth. I was concerned about receiving the patches on time for our students' departure due to the delays on my end. Fortunately, the patches arrived ahead of schedule and looked exactly as promised in the digital sample I was provided. Based on this positive experience, I would definitely work with TheStudio.com again.

Working together with Nice on the challenge coins, was easy, quick and professional. A little glitch with two sides being the same was corrected swiftly and order completed as per initial conversation. I would recommend this company instantly and will certainly return in the very near future for new orders.

Repeat customer here. This place used to have quality products - it is easy to see on our re-orders that they have cut MAJOR corners to save money.

Bought $500 worth of keyrings, they frayed, delaminated and fell apart on customers within several DAYS. Contacted someone who claimed they were the "CEO" about it, and after numerous unfulfilled promises about "addressing my problem", I've given up.

I would NOT recommend this place, as you have no idea what the quality of your product is going to be, and if you have a problem, you are left with no recourse. No reprints. No refunds. No response.
