Ordered the tree pattern gate and posts. Delivery of the gate about a month late; the time to deliver correct hinge-side post around 3 months (first post had hinge sockets in the wrong places!). We then got to measuring the plate thickness which is 1.5 mm, not 2.5 as specified on the website. From April 2023 to August it was usually impossible to contact them and the time delay to reply to email was long. Request for a gate in 2.5 mm plate and compensation for all the time-wasting, predictably, ignored. We would advise you to seek another supplier. These people are hopelessly unreliable.

Thrilled with my Corten Steel Tree Of Life with Steel Rim. Communications with Aleisha kept me informed & obviously had to wait a while longer for this to be made but it was Sooo worth waiting for.
It arrived safely due to it being securely & beautifully wrapped….
We are having extensive building works but once completed I will send on my photos of my Tree Of Life insitu.

Bought a Lotus black metal wall art. Chose the small size, said to be 48cm x 48cm. In fact it is 48cm wide but only 33cm deep. You would think the company would know the measurements of its own product! Somewhat disappointed. Otherwise, nothing wrong with the quality.

An excellent purchasing experience through and through. Easy to navigate site, quick delivery, and a very high quality product to match. Over the moon with my new corten screen for my garden!

Great service from order to delivery and follow up. I ordered one panel and 2 days later added a second panel. I was pleased they combined the 2 orders with no delay in time and also refunded one delivery charge. Responsive and supportive. The product is great and adds interest and colour to our garden seating area thank you. If you want to deepen the rusted effect put a tablespoon of salt into a plant sprayer filled with water. After a couple of days the weathering had deepened nicely

I ordered a bespoke pergola and It is exactly what we wanted, I am delighted with it! Although it was a longer process (6weeks) than the standard products which is as to be expected really, the service received right from design stage to delivery was fantastic! Mike sent over technical drawings (which were very detailed and I had to have my husband digest them!) and the pergola looked brilliant even on the drawings! So very impressed and would recommend to anyone wanting a custom product.

I ordered a Tree of Life wall mounted design in the corten material. I was informed via email that my order had been received and would be dispatched in the standard time frame. My order was unfortunately delayed due to the extremely hot weather. I was called by Aleisha from their customer service team who explained the reason for the delay and that my postage fee would be refunded to me due to the inconvenience. Although disappointed, I completely understood, and appreciated that the Company wanted my goods to arrive in the best condition. This was followed by another email, telling me about the weathering process had been successful and my tree would be with me soon. A week later my item arrived. It was perfect. Please disregard the negative reviews as this Company couldn't do more to help me. I will definitely return for more items for my garden.

So happy with my order, all ran smoothly from start to finish.We always received helpful and friendly communication and I would definitely recommend to others. Already planning my next project with these guys!

Horrendous customer service. I paid in full for an order in March for delivery for mothers day...low and behold 5 months later I still have not received my products!

I have contacted TSG on three separate occasions only to be fobbed off and told my order would be remade...I have now asked for a full refund so fingers crossed it comes through.

Thoroughly disappointing after being so patient. More so because I actually wanted the goods to gift.

After numerous calls and emails, we placed a bespoke order in May'23. Having paid in full, TSG were very very slow in sending drawings, which were then riddled with errors, requiring multiple emails back and forth to get to the point when we signed them off. Original estimate (including drawing phase) was 10-15 working days.
6 weeks later we still hadn't had details of a delivery date. No one ever answers the phone, or calls you back when you leave a voice mail or email. After calling multiple times a day, every day, for almost a week, I finally spoke to Aleisha who advised that their delivery company was no longer operating. She confirmed that they were in the process of arranging deliveries with a new company and we verbaly agreed a delivery date.
The delivery date in July came and went.
I spoke to Mike a few times before drawings were finalised, but then (despite calling 15 times in one day), never managed to speak to anyone after our delivery date was missed.
Finally, I emailed and left voice messages that I would be putting my credit card payment into dispute. TSG made no contact and my credit card transaction was refunded. To this day, I haven't had any contact with TSG since the delivery date was agreed in June'23.

Don't waste your time, money or energy on TSG, go elsewhere. I can't comment on the quality of their products as I never received anything.

Nice looking products but a poor customer experience. I wanted a couple of standard items from the website plus one bespoke part in a custom size. I emailed my custom dimensions and agreed a price. I asked for a price for all three items together as one order- which I received promptly. Were talking about an order close to £900 for all three bits. When I checked the prices they were trying to charge me more for one of the standard items than it was available for online. I thought that was a bit naughty. I brought this to their attention and was told to make the orders seperately ( why not just allow me to pay the right price in one payment - it would have been much easier).

I ordered on 25/5/23 Up to this stage communication was ok, but once my order was received it was poor. At the time of ordering - my estimated delivery was 10-15 days from order. I emailed for an update on Tuesday 13/6 as I’d heard nothing from them. I was told that the order would be shipped that week, to cut a long story short between that date and me received the first part of the order I had three missed delivery dates.
I was told on one occasion that the order was arriving the next day - I took a day off work as to receive them - they didn’t arrive. I received the first order on 19/7 over a month late. I tried to get updates by email in this period, response time was sometimes days. One day I tried calling them as I wondered if they’d gone into liquidation due to not replying to my emails. I called at least 10 times throughout the day and the phone never got answered.
To my suprise, only one of my orders was in the delivery- at no stage in the email correspondence was I told they were arriving at different times even though both order numbers were listed in the emails. The final part arrived days later. To summarise- a lack of communication and failed delivery dates (delivery a month late) made this purchase very frustrating. The products would be 4 star, the comms and customer service 0 stars.

I recently posted a review regarding The Steel Gallery, with what I now realise was an unfair reflection on the company. I have now removed that review, and would like to apologise to Mike and his team for my comments. I have since been made aware of circumstances that are completely beyond the control of the company, and would naturally have impacted on my order. Everything now appears to be back on track and I would like to thank all concerned for their assistance.

Found this company via Facebook and their stuff looked good, so I contacted them.
I've NEVER had better customer service!
From the speed of responses to help throughout ordering, payment etc, they are exemplary.
They even delivered when I asked them to, due to me being away when I placed the order.
Their customer care lady, Aleisha, ought to be copied by many national companies.
And the final product was just what I wanted.
Highly recommended!

Excellent service from the initial phone call to final delivery. We wanted six screens for installation between the pillars on our new wall. We spoke to Mike and his team and described how we needed the screens to float in the space. They were so helpful and suggested a bespoke fitting design which would allow this. Following a quick turnaround the screens and the fittings have been manufactured and installed and the end result is fantastic and exactly match our requirements. Would highly recommend this company.

I have just received the panel ordered to make a tabletop for a singer, sewing machine frame. I am absolutely delighted and it’s just what I wanted. It is beautifully made, excellent packing and swift delivery and the frame was made specifically to my instructions with a 5 mm thickness, instead of the normal two. The firm obviously take pride in their work and are to be congratulated on their workmanship, customer service and quickness in getting the order out to the customer.

We placed our order for a Corten steel gate in March of this year . It was outside of their standard range in width and so this was a bespoke order , costing £605 . We had assumed that TSG were accomplished in making these gates and there would not be an issue with the width of the gate - that these had been professionally designed and engineered.

5 weeks later , the gate arrived and we were really upset . It was unfinished , flimsy and the fixtures were a range of different finishes ( black handle, silver hinges and screws on a rustic brown
gate ) it didn’t look anything like the images from the website and looked like no care or craftsmanship had been involved in producing it - and yet it had been signed off !

Eventually, Mike ( the director) arranged to have a phone call with my husband ( having told my husband that he wouldn’t deal with me as I had contacted them several times demanding to speak to a manager that could help and was clearly upset )

My husband emailed over images of our new gate and asked Mike , if he would be happy to have these up on his website promoting his work - and he agreed that he wouldn’t and clearly the product was not something he was happy about . The gate was too heavy for the hinges that they came with and it wobbled through lack of any additional support . It was essentially a Corten screen, cut in half and a handle fixed onto it - and yet this was about £400 more than the screen
( which we had previously purchased from them ).

Mike offered a full refund at this stage or he would refund around 65% back and we would change the hinges ( he said that this would be his preference as it would cover his costs if we accepted the latter ). At this point , we thought that we would try to make some adjustments and replace the hinges and accept that the gate was a little unattractive - so we kept it and paid someone to put it in for us . We accepted this offer based upon the gate working once installed , knowing that we would have to make some minor adjustments.

The gate is now in and doesn’t function properly- even replacing the hinges with more robust ones hasn’t made a difference and doesn’t take the weight of the gate . It doesn’t close properly and has dropped on one side because of the lack of structural support for its width . Watching several people try to open it to access our house has been embarrassing as they are not sure how it opens and it wobbles.

My husband wrote again to Mike to update him and provide him with footage of the gate wobbling and the weight baring issues . He said that this had been a really stressful situation and that we now wanted our money back - and the gate to be collected.
Mike ( the director of the company ) has not responded back or made any contact. It’s very questionable when a company ( that has good trust pilot reviews ) decides to just stop communicating with a customer - unable to deal with issues that arise with a product. Does that mean they offer no warranty on their products, if they don’t like a customer raising quality and design issues ?

I would have attached a couple of images to this review, however it appears TSG have disabled that option for reviewers to share their images .

20/08 - had to get my bank involved who after investigating, decided to refund me based upon the evidence that I provided. One of the most stressful retail experiences!

Great company to deal with. Good product all as described; kept well informed as the my order progress. Very pleased with the finished product.
