I learned so much these past 5 days and I have a Master's degree in Accounting! Atiya breaks taxes down into its simplest form you can understand it. The best part about the challenge is that you get to implement what you learned right then and there and see the tax savings unfold right before your eyes. Outsourcing bookkeeping to a tax professional is a must.
Prior to working with The Savvy Accountant. We were using QuickBooks to do our own bookeeeping. The issue is, we didn’t update it much or perform monthly reconciliation. Our Quickbook statements did not match our Stripe, Banking and PayPal totals.
We hired The Savvy Accountant in August and it has been a huge difference and stress reliever. We are able to clearly see our income/profits vs expenses.
The process has been very simple and we are now prepared for our taxes to be much easier this year than last. This also helps when investors want to know about balance sheets.
And added bonus is the expertises of an accountant to ensure you are following tax guidelines and asking you the right questions.
This was a great decision and I highly recommend other small businesses make bookkeeping a priority before it’s too late or you have tax/funding issues.
