I spent $3500 for 2 couches and within…

I spent $3500 for 2 couches and within 6 months the padding was shifting and the armrests and the back rests looked like they were 5 years old. Everytime you laid back I felt the wood in my back. The quality of there furniture is a disgrace. I ended up buying new couches from value city. I will never buy anything from Roomplace again.

The man taking my order was pleasant…

The man taking my order was pleasant and helpful and professional. Likewise, the woman who took my payment and sent me a copy of my receipt via my e-mail was efficient and upbeat.

I am very much looking forward to receiving my item of furniture in another week!

Stock employees refused to help - I carried the furniture out myself

I bought a five piece sectional couch on Saturday, 7/24. The store said they couldn't deliver it, but I would have to pick it up. They assured me that the stock employees would assist putting it in the truck if I arrived before 4PM. I arrived around noon. The manager walked me over to the furniture with an incomplete print out of my order and aggressively told me that the 5th section was not on her sheet so it wasn't mine. I had to show her my receipt to convince that what I purchased and was clearly packaged with the rest of the couch was mine. Then they asked the stock employees to help me, but they said no. They refused to help. Then the manager just pointed to some dollies and said to do it myself. I walked past the stock employees as I carried all five sections of the couch out of the store and through the back loading area to my rental truck. Sometimes the stock employees were just standing around casually looking around as I carried the furniture past them. This is in addition to a pushy, hovering sales person who we nearly walked out on, except that we evaded him for bit so we could discuss the decision ourselves. We had a negative experience from start to finish with this company and I don't attribute it to the individual store employees or the circumstances of the store closing. I attribute to a poorly run corporation. I should be refunded for the cost of the truck rental since I had to physically remove the furniture from the store to take it home, at a minimum. The couch that we purchased should be further discounted for the poor experience. We could find a place to submit a compliant on the company website so we've put in a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

It was good deal

It was good deal. But mattress was having cut in front. I tried to change it over there but everyone was having some or other issue. Also chair was having small cut in front.

Salesperson was fine

Salesperson was fine. But I did not like that they billed me incorrectly.
I would have not even found it out, but I happen to re-check the bill since I had to change the delivery date.
The person on the phone was trying to convince me that the discount was already taken care of.

Short and simple

Short and simple, went in to purchase a leather sofa set, was told it was put on hold for another customer (not a problem). Holds expire at end of business day and I was there at closing. Manager was ok with us buying it, until the salesman states that he put the set on hold for his brother, (there were no hold or sold tags like on other furniture in the store.) Going back at open to see,, and if not, im putting back the other set that was also purchasing.

Came to browse, great experience

I came in because I saw that the store was moving locations and I was looking to see what deals they had, nothing really in mind. I was greeted promptly at the door, and then had several small, pleasant interactions with employees as I browsed. Finally, Yury made a personal connection and our conversation led to a great deal on a mattress and box spring--but I wasn't ready to buy. He told me to come back when I was ready--but not too long!--and the next day I was helped by Adrian, who was just as nice and personable, and I bought the bed set. Great pricing and service, and a wonderful experience.

The sales people were incredibly…

The sales people were incredibly helpful and super nice, I wish I could give a better review. I had let them know in advance I was coming to pick up the couch on a specific day and that I would need help moving it into my truck. Jason was available to help me but continued to yell and get incredibly agitated with me. I am a 22 female and I’m small - I could not be much help. He proceeded to be snarky with me and was frustrated he had to wrap up the velvet couch when it was pouring down rain outside. Overall I was very happy, unfortunately that last experience ruined my morning.
