We had gone to 8301 E Washington St. In Indianapolis, which was closing down on Monday (12th Aug). We were supposed to get a mattress and a box with it, but only the mattress was delivered. We went there to resolve the issue and the people who we had spoken to agreed to give the box but since no one was there to deliver it we had to let go of it. I'm writing this review not for the sales but the lady in charge there. She didn't the know the whole truth yet was yelling, shouting, bad mouthing us. How could someone treat the customers like that? She even threatened to call the police (should have called, she would have been in trouble for the misbehaviour). While leaving she even told us have a bad night's sleep. I haven't experienced such an atrocious behavior from someone. If she's going through something and vented out the anger on us, hope she recovers. But I want her to read this review and not have a good sleep at all, specially after the way she treated us. You need to change your behavior mam, it's just going to cause trouble to you.

Please read the fine print carefully if you plan to finance with their credit card. I bought a nice Tempurpedic bed from them and opened up a RoomPlace credit card that was supposed to have terms of zero percent financing for three years. I found out in the fifth month that it was six months, which I never would have agreed to. I'm now about to pay an extra $1,500 in interest. Was I duped? Technically, no. Because it was on me to read the fine print rather than trust the salesperson. Best Buy didn't do this to me. And I don't even like Best Buy. But at least I don’t feel like was tricked by them like The RoomPlace did.

I brought a bedroom set December 18th they told me to receive all the items I would have to wait until January 31st nothing came I called the RoomPlace only for them to say I have to wait until February 11th! When that day came I did not receive all the items the delivery driver said to call RoomPlace only to be told I have to wait until March 5th. Not one time did RoomPlace contact me about any changes .I called again today March 5th about my missing item only for them to tell me I have to wait again until March 19th the RoomPlace is very unprofessional, lack communication now my granddaughter still hasn't gotten her Christmas gift!!! A angry customer 🤬😡😡

I have tried fir three weeks to to get info for, three pc counter height table, no one helped talked to a few from room place, no o could or did help me, I have a room place a mile away. No help finally I went to room place at east Washington st,there asales person named,Yocheved Ozery, she answered all my concerns, found out all the info on the set cause room place on line had no info,for this, Daytona 3pc set I'm happy ,after three weeks she help me and I purchased ,so thank you,Yocheved.

Sales people are good and are willing to help you in any way possible. Disappointed that stores are closing soon.
Our salesperson Jerry did a great job in letting us know all the options we had in picking out our leather sectional.

I was to receive my order this past Friday. I received a email and text stating it would be delivered. On Friday I had heard anything from RP, so I called and texted. Wait for it!! They both told me I did not have an order being delivered because I owed a balance. This is the worse I’ve ever been treated after spending my money. I paid them in cash in full. Don’t do business with RP. They lie and are unwilling to fix their mistakes. I believe my sales person who I had to check intentionally went into their system and made it show I had a balance. So long in short I had to sleep on the floor on Friday!!! After speaking to two agents both were not willing to fix what they had done were useless. I was able to write to corporate after asking to speak to corporate several times to no avail. I was lucky to reach someone that listened and understood this wasn’t my fault but there’s. She helped work out my situation and had the bed delivered first thing Saturday morning. Thank you!!! I’m so glad RP is leaving Indiana. Good bye!! 👋🏾

We received customer service right away with a friendly smile. Anthony wasn't available due to being with another customer and we were taken care of right away
I ordered online and the process was easy and quick. We paid for delivery and our couch was in our basement, set up, two days later! Delivery communication was excellent and the link to track the driver and his real time ETA were an added bonus. It was well with the money to have them deliver as it only took the two guys 25 minutes from start to finish. I am thrilled with the furniture and service we received.
The salesman was very knowledgeable about the furniture I was interested in. He had a lot of insight on other additions. He was professional and personable.
The sales person was very polite and knowledgeable
I was in a hurry, the gentleman took for ever, kept correcting me by saying, "I already told you this information." He spoke so fast I could hardly understand him. All I wanted was a mattress cover, and the one I wanted wasn't in stocks. I still have to return to get it.

If I could rate zero stars, that is what I would do. On January 1, I purchased an entertainment center and paid $1,048.00 by credit card online with the sales person on the phone with me. I was told it would be available for pick up on January 19. I called and was told it had not yet arrived. I again called on January 27 and was told it was not there because I had cancelled the order. I DID NOT CANCEL THE ORDER. After speaking with three different people, I was finally told, the next day, by the manager Yochi that she had cancelled my order because it showed as unpaid on her end. Apparently there is a new payment system called Tidal and it somehow didn't communicate with your other systems. So, it appeared as though I had not paid. Rather than someone at Room Place showing the common courtesy and professionalism to pick up the phone and call me, they simply cancelled the order. They never called me and told me. I was patiently waiting for my order to arrive only to find it had been cancelled. I am told that I can still get it but would have to wait until February 25 which is not acceptable. I requested a full refund to be provided to me no later than 5 pm on January 30. This was acceptable to Yochi, the manager of the store. Now tonight I spoke with Marilyn at the store who tells me that I cannot receive a check, but that it has to go back onto my card (which I should mention I have already paid in full), and that it could take more than a week. THIS IS ALL UNACCEPTABLE. I'm told that they cannot refund by check because in their words, "it is against the law." This is not against the law. What is against the law is them holding my $1048.00 hostage; and then I might add, offering me nothing at all for my inconvenience. I will NEVER do business with the Room Place again and I will be sure to warn others about their unprofessional, insensitive and illegal ways.
