I had the CO₂ treatment in September 2024, and it left me with a patch and a square mark. He saw me every month for aftercare, but he kept saying it was getting better. I stopped going for aftercare in 2026. He asked me to use Obagi cream three months after the CO₂ treatment because it had left a large square patch. I thought he would provide it for free as part of the aftercare, as the patch wasn’t my fault. He quoted me £100+, and when I said I thought it would be free, he replied that nothing is free. He then offered me a cheaper price for the cream. I wish I had done my research.

I had a face and neck Endolift procedure with Dr. Russo, and
unfortunately my experience was very disappointing.
Before the treatment, I was told that a numbing cream would
be used and that the pain would be minimal. However, during the procedure I
experienced extremely intense pain. When I expressed discomfort, I did not feel
that my concerns were acknowledged, and the doctor did not appear very
empathetic.
I also had the impression that the treatment was rushed,
which made the experience even more uncomfortable.
I was told that I should see significant improvement within
a maximum of six months. It has now been eight months and, unfortunately, I
have not noticed any visible improvement in my face or neck.
Because of this experience, I would not choose
to undergo this procedure with this clinic again.

Please avoid this man
He hides behind the Harley Street name. Charged me 1200 for c02 laser blepharoplasty which was not numbed. Had booked 3 people in at the same time @1pm. It was nearly 2:45 by the time I had the surgery. He was unsympathetic and asked for payment before the surgery. The room was dirty and dingy. He was treating all 3 of us at the same time in different rooms. The pain of the treatment was excruciating and he didn’t care. I should’ve walked out at the start. 1 month on and the treatment hasn’t worked. I asked for my money back He wants me to have it done again but it’s intrusive and can’t afford the downtime. The swelling is horrendous but accept that it was a one off treatment. Didn’t expect to go for a second. This man is a disgrace. I want my money back. And believe me he will pay me. The man is a back street quack. Stay away!!!!

Very few times in my life have I felt so compelled to complain.

Russo has treated me appallingly.
After initially wasting 4 months of my time & putting me through excruciating pain, swelling, discomfort & infection & high costs, with zero result, he then tried to bargain with me.

Despite Russo admitting complete failure I received no apology, no way to internally make a formal complaint after asking for that most basic facility. Since then I have been completely ignored. It really hurts, as you feel like you have been made a complete fool of.

This can only mean one of two things:

1. He has narcissistic personality disorder or
2. He is not coherent

I have spoken to at least 6 others who have experienced almost identical scenarios & the self-same indifference from Russo.
I have now have to go through great expenditure & time consuming effort to gain any form of justice.

Great Loss of time, money, dignity , the pain, the discomfort, the long periods of healing & disfigurements & now a fight on my hands! The time I can never gain back & what the stress to my body & mind has taken, has done its damage!

You do not ignore a client Russo (6 months & counting), how would you like it.

This merely adds insult to injury, as you can imagine. I have now been forced to go through consumer affairs, medical associations, small claims court & currently speaking with The Metro to warn people away from those who’s address ‘Harley-Street’ does not necessarily mean adherence to Hypocratic Oath

My operations were basic but mis diagnosed by Russo. He used completely the wrong method. Only surgery would have done.

All the photos, emails, promises & the recording, all stand witness.

I cannot comprehend the lack of duty of care for myself & other clients & his own reputation.

You don’t ignore people & especially not clients, that trusted you & your word.

I went to Istanbul & was treated impeccably, 5 star hotel, chauffeur, expert doctors & nurses for a fraction of the cost. The result is just as I had hoped for. This was a full operation, with general anaesthetic for 2 hours & still, with all the above, it was cheaper than Russo’s.

Russo seems to go to ground & silent & uses ignoring his client as a weapon to hang onto money.

This is the value you put on your reputation!? Then it is by default, worthless. However many success you have your character is below subterranean. You have no sense of culture, deep down.

Incredibly frustrating & annoying to be ignored. No excuse for rudeness.

One hastens to add that there were no crossed words between us. He just tossed me aside & ignored me.

The experience from start to finish was soul- destroying & if it is the last thing I do I will hold this hypocrite accountable, whether here in UK or in Italy.

Dr Russo is an excellent doctor. His profession depth of knowledge is precisely why I use him. As a doctor he has knowledge that other technicians lack, making him an incredible source of information which I use to maintain and preserve my skin. I highly recommend him.

I have done Fraxel laser with Dr Russo for my acne scarring and had a great experience. I was a little worried at first as it's such a strong treatment. I had a consultation first, which was very detailed and informative and Dr Russo instantly put me at ease with his knowledge and nice manner. i knew I was in safe hands. He gave me a product to use to prepare the skin and couple of weeks later i had the treatment. It was bearable with the numbing cream and overall better than I expected, pain wise. Downtime was about 2-3 days, a t of swelling but nothing too major. Definitely helped the scarring skin is much smoother! Would definitely recommend!

I don't like leaving reviews, but I feel it’s important to warn others about the treatment I received at the hands of Dr Russo so here goes.
I attended this clinic for laser treatment expecting professional care and safe, considered decision-making. Instead, I was left with visible, permanent damage and scarring.

During the appointment, I was pressured into additional treatment that I had already said I did not want, after the procedure had started and while I was numb. This left me in no position to give proper, informed consent. The treatment itself was extremely painful, unevenly applied, and I was not provided with standard protective measures. I was screaming in pain, asking him to stop the treatment which he said he shouldn't do, and I had to be held down by Dr. Russo until he finished the procedure.

After raising serious concerns about the outcome, the doctor initially acknowledged that the results were substandard, only to later dismiss my concerns entirely. Further, when he took progress photos to compare, I believe he edited them to make the results look better and gas light me into accepting the results (evidence of this being when he took the photo, he wouldn't show me immediately, played around with some settings before showing me, and refused to share the file with me which would allow me to see if the image had been edited). Since then, I have tried reaching out to no avail and have been repeatedly ignored despite giving ample opportunity to resolve the matter privately and professionally. I submitted a formal complaint which Dr Russo acknowledged receiving via Whatsapp and said he would get back to me, however he never did. Getting nowhere, I filed a claim in court against him for damages which I won. Dr Russo now owes me nearly £10,000 (potentially more than that now with interest) and yet he still refuses to engage.

This is a just short summary of my experience and there is a lot more to the story. The lack of accountability, follow-up, and basic duty of care has been shocking. I now have a judgment against him, and despite this, he is still refusing to respond. I am now formalising my complaint with the General Medical Council and anywhere else I can. This man is a cowboy and I strongly advise anyone considering treatment here to think very carefully.

I am writing this review to warn others about my sister’s very distressing experience with Dr Russo on Harley Street.

My sister attended for an eye procedure and has been left with what appear to be burns to her eye area, causing visible damage and significant distress. Since this happened, multiple complaints have been made, yet no proper response, accountability, or aftercare support has been given. We have tried repeatedly to seek help and resolution, but we have been completely ignored.

This has had a serious emotional and physical impact on my sister, and the lack of duty of care afterwards has only made the situation worse. When something goes wrong in a medical or cosmetic setting, there should be urgent support, transparency, and responsibility — none of which we have received.

I strongly advise people to think very carefully before proceeding with any treatment here, especially when it comes to the delicate eye area. Patients deserve safety, aftercare, and respect if complications occur.

I can only echo the other negative comments about Dr Russo, I would strongly advise you not to waste your money on treatment with him. I went to him in July 2024 with concerns about bags/dark shadows under my eyes, because it was a free consultation and on Harley Street I kind of got swept along with it but should have followed my gut instincts. Dr Russo hardly speaks and just made very brief notes on a scrap of paper, and receptionist kept forgetting and getting things wrong. I was told I needed "Endolift" which would dissolve the fat in my eyebags, I would start to see improvements within a couple of weeks, and minimal down was expected, none of this was true. I paid £950. Injection marks in my face to six weeks to clear, and when I went for the 3 month review they're had been ZERO improvement to my eye area, I explained this to Dr Russo who just told me to come back for another review in three months!. To this day absolutely NO improvement or visible results. Total con and down £950, urging people not to lose money like I did, go anywhere but here.

The most disgusting and highest con artist I've ever come across. He goes by the name Dr Russo. At ALL costs AVOID this skank of a so called esthetician.

I called just before the new year to make an appointment to talk to him about a procedure that I wanted and booked a specific date for him to call me. He called me within 10 minutes and I asked why he called already and he had no excuse. So desperate for money he is.

Anyway I booked to see him and during the consultation I told him that I'm not too sure if I should go for the under eye tightening procedure due to having been diagnosed with early stage glaucoma.
He asked me: Why do you have that and how did you get it????? Already I thought hang on, you're a surgeon that deals with surgeries and procedures around the eyes and you don't know what glaucoma is? I should've known from there that he was just plain thick and a money grabber.

I then asked him that due to my skin type, will I develop pigmentation? He said NO, whereas other consultations I had I was told that I have a very high tendency of developing pigmentation.
I told him that I use Obagi and he said then just use it around your eyes after the procedure.

Although being skeptical, I ended buying in to his bull**** and said if I just pay to secure an appointment I will ask my specialist if I am ok with the procudure and so I asked about the cancellation policy. He said 48 hours. That very evening I messaged him and said that I was told not to go ahead with the treatment and he cancelled the appointment.

I asked about the refund and to make things short, he gave me many excuses and stories, lied about his team and accountancy team and tried to ignore me. I honestly felt to go there and beat him up but I took it further to my bank and reported him.

It turns out that he is actually a fraudulent person and has done this to many other people. He is nasty, a liar and a nonprofessional. He will steal your money and avoid you.

I got my money back due to my bank helping me out but PLEASE AVOID HIM.

He's rubbish and an utter con artist and needs to go back to wherever he came from because he doesn't belong in Harley Street.

I wish there was a category with no stars at all. All in all, it took a month to get a refund from this skank, with everyday back and forth messages and also with my bank.

Drove for 4 hours to get to London on time. Arrived 15 minutes early and was told Dr Russo was running late and come back at 1.15(appointment time 1pm). Returned at 1.15pm and waited 30 minutes to have a pre co2 laser assessment. Was asked if another client could be looked at before me as she needed to be away for 2pm. I said no as i needed to return on a 4hr drive to collect my dogs. Following assessment i waited another 30mins while other patients were seen to. I was then given numbing cream to my face. I waited then in the waiting room with cream on my face for another hour. The procedure started after multiple persons including walk ins were seen to. I raised my concerns and was attended to at just after 3pm. My restricted parking outside the clinic ran out at 3.30pm. The painful expensive procedure was then rushed with Dr Russo who had no assistant( I had to hold the cooling pipe on my face which i didnt charge Dr Russo for). At 3.30 bruised and battered i rushed to get to my car in time so as not to be fined and was sent on my way with no written post operation protocols. Was told to rub Vaseline on my face and take Dr Russo prescribed antibiotic for 7 days. I would not recommend Dr Russo to my worst enemy. The Organisation and professionalism from a Harley St Dr with Harley St costs was far from expected.

About two months ago I had the worst experience of my life to do a Blefo here with no result but only an infection that I have been out of work for one month: They took by my account 1500 £ instead £ 999 of their advertised offer.
They trick people for money , they not give results but only other issues.
I am unhappy of the treatment.

After a great experience the first time with Fraxel and lip filler I returned to try the endolift for my jawline and jowls two weeks ago - very, very pleased with the treatment and the results and the fair pricing.

Very warm welcome from Dr Russo and the lovely lady! And my lips look amazing!
