i have used this company many times over the years with no issue. Ordered a new phone for my wife 18th March at 9.06am when it didnt come the next day i tried to phone just couldn't get though tried a bit later and was told and was told it is only next day delivery after they have put on on the carrier i said its not right to pay for next day delivery and not get get it, she said tell you what ill refund you and put the phone down. i have yet to be refunded.

After contacting The Phone Trader customer service to make sure they have Ulefone Armor 26 Ultra in stock, I purchased the phone. Paid in the morning and received next day in the morning by Royal Mail special delivery. Brilliant customer service! Delivery on time. definitely recommended. Thank You

I got a phone from this shop in Sunderland and I left a review and he said come in so I did and when I got there he says we had to delete the review oh he wouldn’t work on the phone anyway we didn’t do it but when we went back he had went on my phone and deleted the review and wrote his own and said we had to post it oh weren’t getting phone back so I posted it then deleted it it’s very unprofessional and shouldn’t be up and going very disappointed people be careful

The phone arrived impressively quickly. Am enjoying changing to android with Ulephone Armor 11. Buying the phone has been a very satisfactory experience.

I wanted to keep my work mobile number in retirement and decided a dual-sim phone was the way to go. Online research pointed me to rugged phones and also warned me that the keenest prices often come with the risk of poor after-sales service. Then I found The Phone Trader, an established UK business providing the phones with the right spec at keen prices. I ordered a Cat S42, which was delivered speedily in perfect working order. So far, so good. I now had to arrange to port my work number and, thankfully, looked at what Phone Trader offer, which is a roaming SIM, covering all UK mobile networks; ideal for someone looking to spend leisure time in the remoter parts of the country. I emailed them and Vanessa checked it was possible to port my number to a roaming SIM; result! Not without a few wrinkles, which Vanessa effortlessly ironed out.
So good to find a firm providing first class service, Thanks Vanessa!

I've used The Phone Trader for a number of years and their service has been first class. The staff including the lovely Samantha are knowledgeable, polite and never give you anything less than their undivided attention. You never feel hurried or pushed towards expensive products. You don't have to deal with call centres and you have a native English speaking response. If you need a tough phone, tablet, etc I thoroughly recommend them. I have no affiliation with them and received no benefit from submitting this review. They are an honest, pleasant company to deal with and are worth the time it takes to say something nice about them.

Phone twice - first time I spoke to Sam and the second Vanessa, both very polite and helpful, after the second call I placed my order and even cheekily asking for free postage was no issue - I much prefer to deal with a UK based established company rather than a faceless global multinational. Really positive experience and vibes - Thanks Phone trader I will definitely buy again. I get the distinct feeling any issues (which I don't envisage) will be sorted fuss free

I wanted an outdoor basic phone and on advisement by Vanessa chose the Ruggear 100. it arrived in a few days and is exactly what I wanted : simple to use , very loud ring ,loudspeaker and lots of useful extras like calculator and alarm and of course the very useful torch.. It just has standard text so no infuriating typos. The phone is very solid and comfortable in the hand and looksand feels like a quality item. I would highly recommend this phone to anyone wanting a top class basic phone.

I’ll try and make my comments independently unbiased and as honest as can, I have no loyalty to any network or supplier other than that of value for money and (for me) security, reliability of connectivity, good business acumen and after sales service..

So.. let’s be honest, depends what you want... plenty of high street shops about and on line “bargains”
Some (most) of which have been in trouble one way or another before now...for various mis-selling reasons or hiking the price once you are “in contract” however: if you are prepared to swap (usually your network and phone number) around all the time (monthly, annually or let’s face it if you want a nice phone, every 2 years!!) that could be a “convenient” option for you.

I originally researched these guys for business reasons .. (I needed a company that understood my needs... security being a major interest and customisations a high second)

I spoke directly to Vanessa and Sam and indirectly to Stephen... (I’m guessing the top trio?) between the three they have everything a business needs (no offence to the rest of the business colleagues that I also dealt with which are equally as capable and helpful whenever I called or emailed), but In my case I found that whoever I dealt with I had a pretty much instant follow up from one of the top 3 even if it was just to check that I’d been satisfied.

Interestingly I happened to mention my personal needs.. not just business (yes, the “Damn I broke my iPhone screen” type stuff) and also my international requirements... (friends and colleagues visiting the UK).

Surprisingly, to me, they came up with matching or better offers and contracts than I (or my friends) were already getting...

My recommendation?
I’m still independent.. my needs change (and yes I still look around) but I haven’t found any company that matches these guys for enthusiasm, technical know how, or let’s face it general “it’s broke can you sort it” moments ... they have my vote.... and my current loyalty for the foreseeable...
