Shockingly bad at cleaning

Shockingly bad at cleaning, not even great at rearranging and straightening up. Surfaces were left sticky, bookcase (the only piece of furniture which needed dusting) hadn't been dusted at all, baseboards untouched, trash not taken out. I booked a deep clean of a small 600ft apartment and it was the worst cleaning ever. Also incredibly over priced!

The Minte Customer Service Stinks!

I've been using The Minte weekly and have been loving the service. Last week when the cleaners didn't arrive in the morning as requested I messaged their customer service saying there was a no show and can we reschedule. After a couple hours after reaching out they finally arrived but we were back in the unit with our out of town guests and it was too late for cleaning. The customer service rep was very snarky telling me the morning requested window was just that, a request and they can come when they want. Since they arrived in the afternoon they charged me though the service was never provided. Their customer service stinks!

Horrible customer service

The cleaning themselves are ok (the thoroughness is highly dependent on the individual cleaner), but the customer service is absolutely, shockingly bad. They clearly have no idea how to manage schedules and are not helpful in any way. The app is difficult to manage and there is no way to track when your cleaner will arrive - even when you request "morning" the cleaners are ALWAYS late so its just luck if yours will show up when you schedule.

I'm sorry that this has made your experience less than ideal. Although we try our best to accommodate all time requests, daily changes to our schedule can sometimes prevent us from doing so. For the time being, our customer service agents can provide arrival estimates on the morning of your clean.

Irresponsible and be careful

I’ve used Minte for two times. The first time is a regular cleaning which is ok but not detailed and thorough, especially not good for pet family who are having trouble with pet hair. And they are late for a long time.
The second time is a move out cleaning. Since I left a pile of clothing in the dryer. I told the field manager of the Minte in advance and ask them to get it out and drop those in the lobby. And they answered yes and said will fold it, drop it to the lobby. However, when I asked the property if they have received that from the housekeeper, the property said no and double checked the cameras that day. The Minte also checked with the cleaner and field manager that day and affirms they have gave to the concierge. The truth is the cleaner leaves the cloths by the door and didn’t let anyone know that. It was disposed as trash eventually. And the Minte passes the buck and said they didn’t promise anything and they are not responsible for that. It sucks and will not use again.

The service is great until something…

The service is great until something happens. We had the Minte clean our apartment starting in April of 2019. We enjoyed the service as our place was always clean when we returned home. Unfortunately, during one of the cleanings in November, my wife's engagement ring was stolen at the same time the employee Minte was cleaning our place. The ring was in a box in a closet that supposedly was against Minte's policy to clean. It was not lying out in the open, and my wife was home during the cleaning. During the police investigation, it became clear that the Minte had not taken meaningful action on several earlier complaints of theft by this employee. (The employee was previously accused of stealing earphones and rings that were later reported as being pawned at local pawnshops). Even after the police report, the Minte has refused to take any responsibility for the theft (It is now July and the Minte has still not resolved our complaint) or resolve our concerns about their services. We share this so if you use their service, make sure you secure any valuables in locked areas to prevent their disappearance!

Autumn does a great job on our home!

Autumn does a great job on our home. I highly recommend the deep clean at least once a month. It's great to come home to a clean apartment and takes a lot of stress off if you are a busy family.

Overall

Overall, she did a great job. But there were several areas that were still dusty.

I would like to change my next clean from a hotel clean to deep clean again.

Minte does a very nice job ...!! I know everyone wants a 5 star review but 5 stars is a perfect score and it is extremely difficult to achieve. Minte does an excellent job and I am pleased with their customer service and cleaning expertise - great job Minte...!!
