Alan and Lesley began The Good Bag Co in 2006 after seeing so many plastic bags available and damaging the environment and wildlife. They decided to create an alternative which would be practical and enjoyable to use. Alan injected his wicked sense of humour into the vivid designs and characters you can see on the bags and between them they developed the business into the successful brand it is today. Unfortunately Lesley passed away in 2013, The Good Bag Co has been a little quieter but due to Alans resilience and dedication to Lesleys memory and what they had built together we are now firing on all cylinders to bring you some bright new bags , mugs, cards and aprons and hope that when you buy one of them you will remember the lovely lady who was inspired to make it happen.

STILL WAITING ON MY ORDER!!!!

I ordered a "nurses are good" bag and paid for delivery which stated it would be delivered within 3 to 4 working days on the 17th Feb 2020. It is now the 1st of March 2020 and I have still not received it. I have emailed the company 3 seperate times with no reply and when I check my order status online it just says my order is being processed.
Daylight robbery. I will now have to report the company and claim my funds back through PayPal.

Love these bags

Love these bags, I have bought many over the years for myself and friends. They have been used for all sorts of things a well as shopping! Great size, lovely messages. Only draw back.....I miss going into the grasmere shop!

A brilliant prompt service for online orders, and a great shop to visit in the heart of the Lake District.
Will happily use again.

Good bag

Good bag, the second one i have bought. The handle has worn on the first so needed a replacement. No lining in this one though!
Called into Grasmere to buy one but the shop was closed, empty so needed to order online.
