The First Aid Zone was founded by Stella Swindells; a qualified nurse, midwife and health visitor with a lifelong passion for teaching first aid skills. Her experiences over the years highlighted that so many people had poor knowledge and skills of emergency first aid, and that training was both expensive and difficult to access. At the First Aid Zone we believe that everyone should know how to respond in the event of a first aid emergency, with the sole objective of providing cost effective, yet high quality professional training for anyone who would like to learn. Based in Christchurch, Dorset, training can be provided at our many venues across Dorset and Hampshire, or at a location to suit your individual needs. We offer a broad range of courses from First Aid at Work to paediatric and family first aid. All courses have been designed by leading experts within the field of first aid, ensuring content and delivery is of the highest standard and up to date. Course materials combine the latest multi-media techniques with discussion and practical hands on approach to maximise learning.

Stella is absolutely fantastic, she teaches with enviable ease and in a manner that is inclusive for everyone. Every course we do with her we learn something new and valuable to our setting. She gives my staff confidence and the skills they need for the job we do. She listens to what we need and trains accordingly, dealing with varying levels of understanding with compassion and empathy and an amazing level of patience and fun. Her ability to adapt to whatever she has been faced with from us is second to none and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her for first aid training. The best we have ever done.
