I signed up for Kash Khan's 5 Pillars Coaching program in July 2026. Immediately after, I sent six emails to confirm if specific genes referenced in his webinar were actually covered (including GSTT1, ADRB2, BDNF, GSTM1, CIT2R1, VBBP, VDR, DRD2, COMP, MAO, FG22, UGBT 17, and UGBT 15). I received zero responses.
During that first week, I also had technical issues and could not sign into the platform. Because of the complete lack of communication and broken login links, I requested a refund on Day 8.
My refund was flatly denied. To fight my refund, the company sent my credit card company a 30-page legal document.
In my opinion, this company holds customers to a strict standard that they completely fail to meet themselves. Get your questions answered in writing before you sign anything, because once they have your money, there is NO going back. Regardless, if they perform, or NOT.

My experience with The DNA Company has been very positive overall. I initially used their DNA360 report back in 2023 and found it comprehensive, insightful, and genuinely useful in understanding my genetic profile, strengths, and potential risk factors.

More recently, I purchased multiple kits for my family members and it's been a great insightful experience for all of them.

I also got the DNAging test and received its report. While I initially felt that the report could have offered more personalized interpretation and actionable insights, I shared my feedback with the company and was impressed by how they responded. They arranged a consultation with one of their practitioners, Justin Harris, which turned out to be extremely valuable. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and helped connect the findings across my reports and highlight the areas most relevant to me.

What I particularly appreciate is that The DNA Company listened to my feedback and took meaningful steps to improve my experience. That level of responsiveness, combined with the depth of their genetic testing, has reinforced my confidence in the company.

Overall, a very positive experience with a company that not only provides valuable genetic insights but also genuinely cares about the customer experience.

I originally ordered my husband’s dna test from KKO (unaffiliated with The DNA Company but they use the same test) and received very good education and help from them, albeit it is very expensive. I then ordered the new upgraded DNA test directly from The DNA Company (not KKO) and am learning about all the new genes during their free Zoom meetings 3x/week. We can ask questions if we attend live, and if i miss a class i can catch it on YouTube replay. They also have a facebook page. These classes have been instrumental in applying what I have learned from his test. I am saving up to order my own test thru The DNA Company directly as KKO is expensive and I’ve already gone thru the KKO course and am still a member. The DNA Company app and webinars are teaching me what i need to know now. If you put in the work, you can understand the test (or they have consults you can purchase separately however i have not done that, but may in the future as my husband has so many suboptimal genes!).

I took the DNA360 Functional Genomics Test about four years ago and the results have been informative. The insights helped me understand my health in ways I didn't expect.

Recently I had trouble finding my results in the online portal. I emailed support and they resolved it fast. My results were back in my account within a day.

The test delivers real value, and the support team backs it up when issues come up. I recommend DNA360 to anyone who wants a deeper look at their genetics.

The DNA Company's functional genomics give you practical and easy to understand information that are personalized to your genes. Other genetic companies focus on pathogenic versus non-pathogenic genes, which may be helpful for someone with a pathogenic variant. For many others, this can leave them without answers. Knowing that there can be suboptimal genes or predispositions based on multiple genetic factors can help someone to make specific changes that can increase their health.

Practical, research-based information provided by The DNA Company gave tangible ideas that are more easily able to be added into a daily routine. Their easy to understand reports break down specific health areas based on the function of genes analyzed. This allowed me to zone in on specific areas of health that I wanted to address first. The clinician call provided a wealth of knowledge and it was catered to specific questions I had. The information provided by their reports and from the clinician call was beyond valuable and incredibly insightful!

In addition to the valuable information provided by The DNA Company's functional genetics reports, another very important factor is their excellent staff! Every person I have been in contact with from The DNA Company has been knowledgeable, caring, helpful, and more! They are highly responsive and dedicated. The level of care that they have exceeds other companies. Investing in DNA testing for functional genomics through The DNA Company's genetic testing has been worthwhile and impactful!

Do not waste your money!

I paid over $300 for a DNA testing kit from The DNA Company, only to find out later that they had no intention of honoring the purchase. When I finally went to use my kit, the instructions simply said that if it had been more than three months, I should contact them for a new return shipping label. At no point on my order or in the kit was I told there was a deadline to use it or that it would become invalid.

When I contacted customer service expecting a new return label, I was told my kit would no longer be accepted because too much time had passed. They refused to process the DNA test, refused to send a replacement kit, and refused to refund the more than $300 I had already paid.

Their only offer was a $100 discount on buying another kit. In other words, after taking my money and refusing to honor the product I already purchased, they expected me to spend even more money with them.

That is not customer service. It's an incredibly disappointing way to treat a paying customer.

If there was an expiration date or a limited window to use the kit, that information should have been clearly disclosed before or at the time of purchase. Instead, their own instructions led me to believe I simply needed to request a new return label if more than three months had passed.

I feel like I paid hundreds of dollars for nothing. The way this situation was handled was unprofessional, unfair, and completely lacking in customer care. I have lost all trust in this company and will never purchase from them again. I cannot recommend The DNA Company to anyone considering their services.

Kashif Khan the founder of this company, takes advantage of the sick and vulnerable people and the program is a SCAM. Live seminar does the scheme to get your credit card payment, right away and say there is limited availabilities. FALSE!!! ITS A SCAM. There is a 14 day return supposedly, but after sending out the kit 24 hours after signing up of payment and form (which comes after the payment), they REFUSE to take the kit back and give a refund and charge $500 US..just like that your $$$ is gone plus $180 for signing up! If you fight to get your full refund, they will fight back on the credit card and banks will not do ANYTHING. The program is simplified that it can be found anywhere on the web ie. red light therapy, etc. The staff dont follow up and offer a full refund within that 14 days and take nearly $1000 within 24 hours! They dont care for sick and vulnerable people. They care about their $$$ multimillion business and scheme that many people as noted on social media had to fight to get their money back from their bank card!

The DNA COMPANY actionable results & personalized advice have changed the trajectory of my health decisions/status!
My doctors have been “educated” by what I’ve learned about myself thru The DNA Company. They have THREE EVENINGS OF TEACHING EVERY WEEK! Love it! Great company…They really care! :) I’ve been involved with them over 5 years!!!

The genetic information I received from The DNA Company was much more extensive and more actionable than from my previous tests with 23andMe and Functional Genomic Analysis.

The responses to my questions and requests for support were always responded to quickly and quickly resolved. The resources available from their library of webinars are extensive and very helpful. And the clinical staff available for individual consults have been extremely helpful.

I read through all the review posted here. There is definitely confusion between The DNA Company and Kashif Khan Official. I work with both of them and am clear they are separate entities. Kashif Khan Official does use The DNA Company for genetic testing for their clients. I ordered my test through Kashif Khan Official. Because the testing was done by the DNA Company, my test results are posted on my online account at The DNA Company and easily accessible by me.

I can understand how clients can be confused about the relationship between the 2 entities. I was initially confused myself about the relationship between the 2 companies. I communicate directly with The DNA Company about my test results. And I communicate directly with Kashif Khan Official about the programs I engage in with them.

Trust Pilot should segregate the reviews referring to Kashif Khan Official here to it's own separate page. Continuing to commingle these two distinctly separate companies, after The DNA Company has submitted clarification and asked for this situation to be corrected is grossly unfair.

This situation should be referred for investigation by Trustpilot’s content integrity team and corrected to insure Trust Pilot's own credibility and trust worthiness.

I have received emails from Trust Pilot for clarification about reviews I have done. So clearly they have the ability to contact the other reviewers here to clarify which of the 2 companies they intended to post a review for.

Australians be aware . You won’t be able to send it back to US past customs. I have tried twice under their recommendations. They sent email how they endeavour to fix the issue , it’s never happened. I asked for a refund multiple times and I keep getting the statement that the swab kit is unrefundable once it leaves the warehouse . I have stated multiple times that the services promised of the report, under consumer law, need to be refunded, a swab kit doesn’t cost $500 US. After multiple emailed letters they have ignored me . This is the WORST company I have ever dealt with, and immoral business ethics. I will never recommend them to anyone. Completely unprofessional.

I want a refund .

I ran my DNA through this company and was very pleased with the results. It wasn’t until I got a call saying my results were flagged and told I I could really use the support of purchasing their program ( 3k plus). They really sold me on how they could get me to feeling optimal . Needless to say , the time and lots of money spent wasn’t worth it. The way I felt when I began the program is the same exact way I feel today. What I wish I knew was that I can load my results into Chat GPT and it would give me a great protocol, honestly it’s better than what I received from the program. It’s definitely depressing and frustrating that I spent over 3k for this service.

The WORST customer service I've ever experienced. They take your money, sent you the report, then don’t expect any further help with the website or app or anything unless you have $10,000 to give them. Then they tell you they have upgrades to genes and they don’t load and no one helps to fix the issue.

Why is the DNA Company saying they are not Kashif Kahn's business? One in the same! He is the founder of it and runs it! In fact, his picture is on your website. Another scam? I concur with all above and have had nothing but mishaps and trouble since giving my $3000. I requested a refund when I sensed I was involved with a business that didn't know what they were doing and was denied. I was hung up on twice by an management asst named Julia Carbone who doesn't have any professional skills to be working with people and am still waiting to speak with management. I will file every complaint there is to file if they do not refund my money!

Trust Pilot is a pay for reputation website. They have posted reviews about The DNA Co, that have nothing to do with us. In fact, 90%+ of their reviews are for a different company. We have tried to get them to take them down. They say, pay us or no.

This is extortion.

Google reviews are the only real reviews for The DNA Company. The reviews about the former CEO from before 2023 have nothing to do with us. We do not sell hydrogen kits or any other pseudo science products or services.

Be very careful if you desire a refund!!!. They are not customer friendly at all and will not honor their own return policy unless you make them (at least in our case!). We cancelled before our kit was shipped and have documentation of emails from us/them and Fedex.. They claimed the sample collection kit was already shipped, so they would not honor the refund of $499, but we have documentation from FedEx it was not shipped before our cancellation request. Also know, they do not pick up their phone, you have to email them or request a call back, but we never got call backs when selecting option from phone computer system. Important to note that they say they do not offer refunds after kit is shipped, but they do NOT provide you with the official shipping info from FedEx. They send their own email to you and include the tracking information, this allows them to better control their policy of "no refunds after kitshipped". You need to use the tracking number and look for yourself on when kit is shipped. Do not trust them as they told me my kit was already shipped when in fact I cancelled before even getting an email from them that my order was processed! They decided to give us our money back after we provided proof, but they still decided to hit us with a $50 restocking fee. Now we have to work through other channels (credit card company, state attorney general) to get our $50 dollars back that they are holding back. It's not a lot of money, but in principle I can't let them take advantage of me. These people will fight with you tooth and nail for every dollar. If you decide to cancel, be very meticulous about documenting your communications with them...good luck!

You will recall a back and forth exchange in email for weeks as we hoped to get our money back but you still decided to charge us that $50 restocking fee. We did not pursue getting this refund as too much of my time has already been wasted. The details provided in my review represent what you shared with us as your policy so I don’t know why you would think we worked with anyone but you. I still have the lengthy email exchange documenting it.

I regret wasting my money with this company. They happily took over $800, sent me a cardboard swab, then left me with zero clear instructions, endless delays, and no actual service delivered. When I asked for a refund under consumer law, they hid behind their “no refund policy” instead of taking responsibility. Unprofessional, stressful, and deeply disappointing. Thankfully my bank issued a chargeback. Save yourself the hassle and avoid these clowns.

Definitely a scam. They took my money in fall of 2024 and it is now almost June of 2025. They did acknowledge that they got my test registered, but after that I never heard a peep. I keep trying to contact them but no one ever gets back to me. Don't waste your money!
