Being unable to cancel my membership…
Being unable to cancel my membership online was frustrating. When ticking the box to say I no longer drink alcohol, I was imediately prompted to take out a further subscription or simply change the frequency of my deliveries. I then had to phone a number which is only available during office hours and wait in a queue to sepak to someone to cancel. I was then asked again by your agent on the phone whether I had stopped drinking permanently or was likely to restart.
It feels like you are deliberately making it difficult for people to cancel a subscription.

Hi Jo, We’re sorry to hear you found the cancellation process frustrating, but we would like to clarify a few points.
Craft Gin Club is a subscription service, and this is made clear throughout the sign-up journey, including multiple times on the sign-up and checkout pages before membership is confirmed.
To cancel a membership, members are asked to call our team directly. This is not designed to make cancellation difficult, in fact, our average wait times are around 2 minutes, and our team is available Monday to Saturday, 9am–6pm. We ask members to speak with us so we can answer any final questions, gather feedback, and ensure there are no unresolved issues with the account before cancellation is processed.
When members mention reducing or stopping alcohol consumption, our team may ask whether this is permanent or temporary so we can make appropriate suggestions, such as pausing or reducing delivery frequency where suitable. These options are offered to help members who may still wish to remain part of the club in a way that works better for them, not to pressure anyone into staying.
We certainly do not aim to make cancellations difficult, and many members who contact us are fully cancelled within a short phone call.

Just love the surprise element of the Gin box. It starts with the message to say that the box is with the delivery company…then opening the box to reveal the different items to compliment the gin. Excellent value for money and highly recommend the product

Really appreciate the honesty of this and ease of cancellation. Bianca was helpful and while encouraging me to stay and realise benefits, she didnt try the hard sell which I appreciate. I hope to come back

Although the gin we received from craft gin is really good tasting, my wife and I have cut down a lot on drinking and felt that we did not need this anymore. Anna thank you for understanding why I wanted to cancel and not forcing me to stay on again thank you(dankie)
