The message on the gift box is a bit disappointing too, it's just typed onto a sticky label and pressed onto the box.The gift box is also pretty much sealed so it's difficult to inspect the cufflinks without tearing the label with your message on.

I placed the order on Friday before12 pm and paid for Saturday next day delivery which cost me £12. If you selected the option of standard delivery, it gave you a date however when I selected the £12 option it did not give me a date so I presumed it would be here on the Saturday as I placed it before the cut-off time. I ordered them as a Father’s Day gift ready for an event on the following Tuesday and they didn’t arrive on time. I called the store Monday and spoke to a lady, I asked her if I could speak to her manager as I wanted a refund as my order had not been dispatched at this point and she said she would get him to give me a call, I didn’t receive a call. I called up this morning and spoke to the supposedly manager who was nothing shy of rude, patronising & inconsiderate! I explained I had been waiting for his call, I wanted a refund and I was furious I had received no communication from anyone. He told me if I wanted a refund I would have to return the item but pay for the shipping myself. I am absolutely heartbroken how I have been made to feel after this conversation and would never recommend this company ever to anyone they dealt with my situation terribly & the quality is nothing short of cheap
Beautiful cuff links
Just received cuff links and cuff link box ordered only 3 days ago. Absolutely beautiful, just what I wanted, and the engraving on both cufflinks and box although small is exactly as I imagined. Diamond wedding anniversary gift for other half in few months. Bought them early because had difficulty finding just what I wanted anywhere else, and wanted to make sure I had them in time. Great customer service too, Chris very helpful on the 2 occasions I got in touch.Would use this company again.
Disappointing Experience with Delivery and Customer Service
I recently had a highly frustrating experience with The Cufflink Store that left me both disappointed and disillusioned with their customer service.
I placed an order for personalised cufflinks intended as a wedding gift, selecting Express Saturday Delivery to ensure they would arrive in time for the big day. However, despite the delivery option being clearly available on their website and my payment for Saturday delivery, the items failed to arrive as promised. The cufflinks did not arrive on the Saturday I had paid for and needed them, and only after reaching out did I discover that my order wouldn't have arrived on time regardless of the delivery option chosen.
The key issue here lies in the lack of transparency on the website about the 48-hour preparation window for the product, which wasn’t made clear at the point of sale. Had I known about this preparation time, I would have adjusted my expectations and likely selected a different delivery option. This miscommunication not only caused significant inconvenience but also led to what I feel is misleading advertising, especially when the option for Saturday delivery was presented as available.
While I did eventually receive a response from the customer service team, the explanation provided didn’t address my concerns fully, and the response felt dismissive, with little effort made to resolve the situation to my satisfaction. There was no genuine apology or offer to compensate for the delivery failure or the negative impact this had on the purpose of my purchase.
To make matters worse, the communication was unclear and, at times, contradictory, which made the whole process feel like a waste of time and effort. The lack of accountability on their part has made me lose confidence in their ability to meet customer expectations and handle complaints properly.
I understand that delays can happen, but I would expect a company to stand behind its promises and provide clear, accurate delivery information to customers. Unfortunately, The Cufflink Store failed to meet these basic standards, and based on my experience, I cannot recommend their services to others.
False Marketing and Disrespectful Customer Service
I did not receive the product I was led to believe we was being sold - teal crystal cufflinks. My partner and I took photos of the cufflinks received (which were a sapphire blue rather than teal) showing they are not the advertised product. There was not even a tinge of green, regardless of the lighting or angle they are held to the light - this would be detectable if they were genuinely the teal colour marketed and pictured on the website.
Chris, who replied to each of our emails said they were in fact the correct product (just that they don't look teal when exposed to light - strange to say if you're selling a product labelled as teal) and that no one else had ever raised a complaint about them. We found this hard to believe, as we could clearly see they weren't right. Despite requests from both me and my partner to escalate this to a manager, he just dismissed everything and said if we weren't happy we could send them back for a refund (still having to pay postage and for an engraved box). Eventually I did do this so I could get most of the money back. But since I'd paid extra for an engraved box for the cufflinks I couldn't get all my money back or the postage fee. This seems very unfair given that the company made a clear mistake and Chris did not appear to even consider the company could be at fault. We believe a full refund should have been issued for the miss-sold product, including the postage fee and cost of the engraved box, however it became clearer and clearer that this was never going to happen
Disappointing
Bought 2 pairs of cufflinks in February for my son’s birthday at the end of March. They arrived quickly and looked great. Gave them to my son and he started wearing them at least once week to work. First week of July he wore a pair and while at work one of them fell apart! I emailed the company to complain but they said because I bought them more than 2 months ago they wouldn’t do anything!! Very disappointed with the product and the company. Won’t be buying from them again.

Don't pay the 9.95 for a next day delivery . Because they don't fulfil the contract to do so. I ordered cuff links at 6. 20 am and paid the 9.95 delivery for next day . When my cuff links had not appeared by 8 pm the next day to be told the following . When I paid for them either the premium postal charge , they said it said in my detail the date was on the details which stated a date beyond the next day delivery . Be clear this statement of your delivery date is not available until you have paid up and of course you can't cancel your order.. I asked for a refund of my postage and they refused. So buyer beware .. they take your postal money stating next day delivery then chose any date that suits them .. appalling in this day and age when money is so tight .. I would not recommend this company

On delivery of the cufflinks I noticed that one was defective, I sent an email at 09:53 with a photo showing the defect. The same day at 11:47 I had a response saying that they were sending a new cufflink, 10 mins later I had confirmation of despatch. All on the same day. That is great service!

Poor customer service
I really am not the type of person to write a poor review, however, the customer service I have received from Chris has been terrible.
On ordering a pair of cuff links, the Apple Pay on the website glitched thus causing two orders to be placed. I promptly requested for this to be looked into and to be given a refund. I was not taken seriously at all and emails sent back were sarcastic in nature, unhelpful and a breach of consumer rights law.
I am sure if your order progresses smoothly, the product will be brilliant when received and I am not here to comment on this. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service replies, how it has made me feel as a customer, and would definitely advises future customers to be mindful of this when ordering their products in the future.

Excellent value for money
Excellent value for money. I ordered a pair of personalised cufflinks for my future son-in-law as a token wedding day gift and am delighted with the quality. One tiny disppointment, and totally my fault, I chose a font which is really difficult to read so I would suggest you have that in mind when you order. Great little personalised gift box too. Would definitely recommend but choose a plain font rather than anything too fancy!

WOW! I ordered the Oval Cufflinks for my husband together with the metal case. I could not be more pleased. The quality is outstanding. The inscription I chose to have is in Edwardian script & its perfect! This is a gift for our Silver Wedding Anniversary. I only ordered on Sunday & my order arrived today (Wednesday).

Lost items
I ordered two items from this website. I had not received my items when I got an email asking for a review. I contacted the company and explained what had happened. They said my items were showing as delivered, that they would check with the post office and get back to me.
The next day I received my items. They came from a lady in Scotland who said they had been sent to her in error. (I live in Yorkshire).
Luckily the lady was honest and sent me my items, my invoice was with them so she had my address.
The company have never got back to me, so as far as they are concerned my items are still missing, this was well over a week ago. I know this was probably a genuine mistake but I’m disappointed with the lack of response from the company.
There’s nothing wrong with the products though.

Simple order for a notable Birthday. Not only was the item scratched (which would have been sent back) but they sent the wrong engraving. All they do is sell items and engrave them and they can’t even do that right. I am seeking a full refund.

When this company received my order they confirmed it and it was wrong .I asked them to sort it and they said it was my fault and they didn't want to know me. I was then spoken to with a very well rehearsed script, it's obviuosly happened before. They obviously have an IT issue. These guys are shockers.
