Avoid this company
Purchased a custom fit table cover. The product that arrived was not the same as the pictures on their website. It did not have the seams around the top edge that make it fitted. The interior fabric is rough, scratchy and abrasive - so rough it took the skin off my arm. So you can imagine how abrasive this would be when rubbing against furniture outdoors when moving in the wind (especially as it is not "fitted" as the pictures on their website would suggest). This would be enough to scrape the finish off a stained wooden table. I asked to return for a refund and they asked me to send it back at my own expense for inspection. Upon doing to, I established that the address displayed all over the website is actually a freight forwarding warehouse. On further investigation I established that this company is not a UK company at all., they appear to be based in Dubai. They even shipped it directly from Vietnam where it was no doubt made for a few pounds in a low wage factory.
Instead of accepting that this is not as pictured and is indeed rough and abrasive and therefore not fit for purpose, they have decided to spend money returning this to me and have stated that there is nothing wrong with it and it is exactly as described. They have even take a photo of the product they inspected and attached it to their reply - the photo being that of the storage bag that it came in and a crumpled up furniture cover that shows nothing. I am now even more out of pocket due to the cost of returning it to them and have now instigated a chargeback via my credit card provider.
I also note that they have a returns policy on their website which states they charge a £25 restocking fee for returns - which completely contradicts consumer contracts regulations.
I would advise anyone to avoid this company.
