The best place on this forum is the Root, this is where you'll find historical context and vintage photography about Black America, the black diaspora and related content. Ironically, this section doesn't get much traffic as The Locker Room because it doesn't promote toxicity.

Used to frequent this place in the past, mentally, my soul couldn't take the low vibrations that was permeating this atmosphere.

This forum actually used to be very fun. Before the MAGA Trump fanaticism and political d**k-riding of grifters like Tariq Nasheed. They was unique threads related to black pop-culture and black music, hilarious story tales, travel threads for black travelers etc

What a pity. This forum has turned into a shell of itself. No wonder the best members peace out years ago.

As an African-American man myself, I used to frequent this site in search of valuable takes and shares on the difficulties black Americans and black people in general go through in society and how it relates. Instead, what I found was a cacophony of hatred of misogyny, antisemitism, antiscience rhetoric, conspiracy theories, anti-LGBT hysteria, and hatred for all immigrants groups, even those from Sub-Saharan Africa. The subforum called The Locker Room in particular is overflowing with these types of losers. In fact, right now as I'm typing this, the vast majority of users in several threads in the aforementioned forum are applauding what ICE is currently doing in Los Angeles all in the name of "pro-black" sentiment. Saying that these Hispanic illegals are driving down black wages, stealing black jobs, and that these Hispanics despise black people, so it's fine and even a good thing that it's happening. While I certainly don't dispute that there is anti-black sentiment within the Hispanic community and various other ethnic groups, that does not suddenly make it alright for them to be suffering unjustly. This blatant lack of empathy and outright hatred for other groups is merely one of the many rotten cherries atop the giant shit cupcake that is the coli.com. While there is pushback from more ethical users and good-natured people, they are drowned out by these reprobates 99% percent of the time, which is happening right now on this ICE situation in LA. Apparently, if you sympathize at all for Hispanic people and/or stand up for the rights of undocumented immigrants, you are a weak, "feminine", liberal p***y". An overall morally revolting website that needs to go the way of the dodo. Today is the final day I will be viewing anything on that disgusting site.

The Coli.com is an embarrassment and a disappointment. As an African American man who was looking for a site for black unity and solidarity, what I got was the TOTAL OPPOSITE🤢🤢🤢🤢🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️ Diasporan Wars (Granted some Brothers and Sisters from Africa and the West Indies who do have negative opinions of African Americans should be called out yes but the people on this site goes above and beyond to where they sound like Nazis in Black Skin using the Great Replacement Theory🤢🤢🤢🤢🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️ It’s bad enough we got to deal with racism from pretty much everybody but also having to deal with a segment of Black People tearing down other Black People is inexplicable, inexcusable, embarrassing and disgraceful) through the roof, Gender Wars through the roof (especially when it comes to Black Women but yet these “Brothers” LOVE White Women.) Although I don’t have a problem with interracial relationships and have had a couple myself but damn do these dudes take it to A WHOLE NOTHER LEVEL😂😂😂😂🤦🏿🤦🏿🤦🏿🤦🏿 Don’t have to shit on the Sisters to promote Snow Bunnies. Many dudes are VERY PRO MAGA despite MAGA’s blatant and contemptuous anti-Blackness and PRO ICE( Never mind the fact that ICE is a Fascist Nazi organization just like MAGA is.) because they have a raging hatred for immigrants but especially Black Immigrants (like I mentioned earlier) and they use the nasty ass word “Tether” to describe Black People from overseas🤦🏿🤦🏿🤦🏿🤦🏿 Might as well use the n-word with the hard er instead. Tariq “Marcus Sanders” Nasheed and his FBA grift and Yvette Carnell and her ADOS grift has poisoned a lot of these “Brothers” brains to the point where it sound like many of them would align with Nazis and the KKK to go after other Black People😠😠😠😠 A LOT of smoke for Black Historical figures like Malcom X, MLK, Marcus Garvey, Rosa Parks, the Black Panthers, Bob Marley, Bill Russell, Richard Gregory, Kwame Nkrumah, Harry Belafonte, Patrice Lumumba, Thomas Sankara, Bunchy Carter, WEB Dubois and Booker T. Washington. Hell you even got some that even believe that Harriet Tubman and Nat Turner DID NOT EXIST😂😂😂😂😂🤦🏿🤦🏿🤦🏿🤦🏿🤦🏿 and some that say that Slavery did not happen…..but yet many of these so called “Pro Black” dudes and chicks have AVI’s and usernames of many of the people I mentioned while constantly spouting anti-Black and Pro MAGA nonsense which many of the ancestors would have rightfully put them in their places for and the mods do nothing to stop it and some actually believe and co-sign a lot of the same nonsense. Plus you also have some “Brothers and Sisters” who co-sign another grifter like Dane Calloway who promotes the lie that “We are the real Native Americans” and that Native Americans are fake and were imported from Russia and Mongolia🤦🏿🤦🏿🤦🏿🤦🏿 Completely disrespecting of the Ancestors and the Native People. That’s not even getting into the fact you got people on here who support American Imperialism and Exceptionalism despite the harm it has caused and still causes throughout the world. You even got some talking bad about Captain Ibrahim Traore and his movement and actually hoping that he fails and that Pan-Africanism fails 🤦🏿🤦🏿🤦🏿🤦🏿🤦🏿 and this is despite the Captain and many other African Nations reaching out and trying to build bridges with African Americans and you got a vocal minority on here who rather be isolated and closed off which is terrible considering African Americans are already marginalized in this country and this is the time Black Peoples all over the World need each other. Other people has said but yeah the site is extremely homophobic and transphobic and they don’t support Black LGBTQ people at all, the ones who do stand up for the Rainbows are ridiculed and ostracized, being Black and Nerdy is look down on as “corny and soft” Also traveling abroad as viewed as “overrated” and the ones who say that have probably never even left their state let alone the country. Solidarity is a concept that is foreign to many of the posters and many promote over the top materialism and “getting the bag” integrity and dignity be damned. Any talk about Socialist and Progressive Values is laughed out the building as many believe in the “Pull Yourself Up By The Bootstraps” narrative and Trickledown Economics despite the obvious large gaps between the Rich and Poor that keep increasing every year. I could go on but we would be here all day. This site has potential to be great and there are many posters who are good peoples and who are actually Pro-Black and Pro-Solidarity and Pro Building Bridges with the Diaspora but man does it need be THROUGHLY UPDATED and CLEANSED of ALL bad elements that keep holding it back and all these self-hating divisive, MAGA clowns need to be checked or banned if they can’t get it together.

Blatant lies and misinformation . They being the posters on that site hide behind blackness if the posters are even actually black and try to blame others when they are the ones in charge. Its a complete distortion of facts. They claim pro black but every other post is hyping up some form of an interracial relationship not that I have a problem with interracial relationships but to delve into the psyche of these posters is an endeavor I wish I never undertook .

The Coli truly is a terrible website. It's userbase is comprised of mainly middle-aged adults who just want to push around, bully, harass, and make people's lives miserable from behind the comfort of a keyboard. It's like a secret society with a high school mentality with how it's been gatekept. Don't share any information about yourself on this forum because the spiteful, bitter, and perpetually angry users will use your information against you all while twisting the truth. They will doxx you and post your photos, name, address, and other sensitive information without your consent in an attempt to humiliate and "expose" people in front of a bunch of strangers. The Coli might as well be the Black 4chan because almost all of the users post anonymously and under screennames, making sure not to share any sensitive information about themselves. They want to know EVERYTHING about you and absolutely NOTHING about them.

Most of the dialogue is low-vibrational focusing on the more inconsequential stuff and meaningless conversations. Any intellectual conversation or anything that doesn't jive with the ignorant culture of the website automatically falls off the first pages of the forums within minutes. The Coli is filled with so called "alphas" that gossip more than women. There aren't that many Women that post there either due to all of the misogyny and sexism perpetuated by the disproportionately male userbase. Even has a subforum named "The Salon" has more posts in it by men than women.

The moderators are trash. Houston911 is the worst moderator ever who hurls insults at users unprovoked and CHICAGO is just a bigot who hates Africans and West Indians with a passion. They conduct themselves as if they weren't representative of the poor administration of that site. The owners of the site are MIA. Cook was a moderator who kept the technical aspects of the site in check who was ran off after being racially harassed by the angry Black userbase for being White. And Brooklynzson is a deadbeat who hasn't communicated with any of the moderators and hasn't updated the sites social media sites in years. The site has basic features breaking down and registration has been closed for almost 3 years 🤣😂

The Coli claims to be "pro-Black", but hates poor Black people, Black People from the suburbs, Black LGBTQIA, Africans, and West Indians. The Coli hates the aforementioned Black People so much, they would rather accept White and Non-Black posters into their fold to join the "cookout" only for them to be revealed as terrible racists (it's already happened multiple times over the years). They got more smoke for other Black People than the billionaire 1% and racist White Republicans taking away civil rights. A loud demographic of posters support Donald Trump and largely ignore his blatant anti-Black racism and fascism as long as he can deport the "tethers" they've been conditioned by their FBA cult leader Tariq Nasheed to hate. Black Women are continuously disrespected in favor of "PAWGS" and non-Black women. The users are losers faking the funk looking down on those that don't think, live or see the world like them. If you don't live up to their unattainable and irrational standards of blackness they call you a "CAC" or white. I can't believe how ignorant this place can get, but depressing too. Homophobia and Transphobia run rampant. Women are referred to as overgrown children who can't make their own decisions without Men involved. Posters will stalk you and send you threats through PMs and negative reps. And don't say the wrong thing on there, otherwise the Coli will make an outrage engagement thread where they take posts from someone made 10 years ago, dogpile on that person, misinterpret their words on purpose to make them look like someone they are not, gaslight that person, lie on them, disrespect them, all in an attempt to get that poster bushed and/or banned. In all, the Coli has a very toxic, negative vibe to it which makes posting there regularly unpleasant.

Dudes that post on the Coli are clowns 🤡 lying about everything from Lamborghinis to smashing foreign older women. Everyone is 6 foot and taller, makes 6 figures, , drives a 6 series, has 6 women in their roster, but the more you read the more you roll your eyes. These are obviously people still living for validation for others, so they be lying 🤥.

Like how they lied on me. Cause I'm Nigerian, I had someone spread some malicious and hateful lie about me being a scammer (obviously I took offense to that as that's not true and I've actually been scammed before).

The users thrive off of drama, hostility, bitterness, intolerance, and overall bad vibes. I would recommend avoiding sites like this for your mental health and finding better options. 🤷🏿‍♂️

A site full of negativity and hate. You would think there is a civil war or WW3 going on with the many nasty insults, constant negative rhetoric and energy between overseas black people and African Americans or as they like to be called “FBA”, “ADOS” or whatever internet nerd name they like to call themselves. I mean this is just ONE of the nasty things about the forum because you got the sexism against women(especially black women is through the roof) even though you see many threads where fawn over white women or should I say PAWGS even though what woman of ANY color would want a bunch of miserable and disgusting dudes like this??? Also homophobia and transphobia is also rampant, the defense of pedophila and rape against women is another major issue which should have really got this site shut down a long time ago, a lot of anti solidarity and pro materialistic sentiment, very pessimistic and cynical takes and opinions about science, and the massive promotion of pseudoscience and conspiracy theories amongst many of the posters in the locker room, along with the promotion of buffoonery and minstrel behaviors, awful sports takes and music takes along with the pro Trump takes all makes this site one big cesspool that has really seen better days. Although there are many good posters and good people who speak out against many of the bad things that go on, they constantly face an uphill battle due to a very vocal minority who refuses to listen, take advice or acknowledge their short comings on many subjects and it’s also on the moderators for not taking action and eliminating the troublemakers who make the site who go out of their way to make everyone’s day a living hell. Only time will tell if this site worth saving will or that it’s too far gone and should just be shut down.

The Coli is a forum with like-minded losers crying about racism while being racist at the same time.

The losers here lie about insignificant things just to fit an image of what they think a cool person is. It's 2025, and these dorks are on an internet forum talking about things they wish they had—mainly money, women, and cars.

Some of these losers are somewhat "famous", like failed rapper Hot Rod. (who?)

Others take pictures of things that don't belong to them to flex on each other.

Overall, this is a really pathetic community. I've actually seen a Coli user in real life. These are guys who got bullied in their neighbourhood, pretending to be their bullies online.

The whites and divestors from lipstick alley love going on the coli to start trouble. Pretty much black women align with whites to ruin things and then complain when it comes back around.

been on this website for a decade and ive gotta say this...

this website used to only be "Toxic"only in the sense that if you were to jump into certain sports thread, the only real toxicity you'd see is from aggressive fans of certain teams. But recently since 2022 this website has turned into an echo chamber of opinions and mentality. Folks often praise white women while bringing down blacks, caping for sexual assult against women, increased misogyny, bigotry and definitely hate towards the gay community and frequent usage of the word "fa***".

The moderators dont seem to care about harassment or reports made by users on the site (myself included). You only reallly get heard if you're a moderator or supporter of the site as well.

I say all this just to shed light on the site and if you might be interested in joining a forum that is catered towards hip hop. There are plenty of others out there and this one has definitely gotten pretty bad over the years.

The site could be good if mods (besides 1 or 2) could actually ban trolls forever and do so all by themselves. Some posters get banned for moderate offenses, never to return. Others promote open pedophilia, anti-science agendas, racism, anti-intellectual talking points, Trumpism and never get in trouble. Others get temporarily banned for spamming the forum with terrible posts, only later to come back. One poster in particular seems like a paid poster. This one poster has more posts than almost half of the total members of the forum combined. This poster gets temp banned and always comes back. Some posters, despite breaking 10000 rules and as such, would have been permanently banned a long time ago on any other forum, have an infinite "get out of jail free card" and never receive a full banning. Sadly, the trolls run the show. The owner and site administration is a total dead-beat - never shows up, doesn't respond to messages, has either sold the site or still owns it himself but does so little with the day-to-day of the site that you think he doesn't even control it anymore. Ads make the site almost impossible to navigate. When you block ads, the site asks to remove your ad-blockers but if you do, you're back to pages constantly crashing and having to deal with extremely intrusive ads. It's all a cash grab at this point but the money has to be decreasing. Some of the best posters quit or just occasionally log-in but rarely post. And this "black" website has tons of 4-Chan, Reddit and Trump trolls. Some of these posters have dummy accounts with no posts or few posts. Others post terrible stuff for years (some 2012 posters have posted crap for a decade and only finally got banned, tell me is that not pathetic). The Coli has a crap owner who has a crap site with an influx of crap posters. Serves them right.

Reading posts there, I find that the place is filled with ignorant minded people, who know nothing outside the ghetto experience and don't want to improve their world view. whites, Latinos, Asians Even blacks of other ethnic groups are attacked. This is a racist African American forum.you will find here that African Americans can be racist too.

Avoid this site if you are not foundational black American as some now like to refer to themselves, hope the site gets shut down one day.
