Product delivered in 2 days, fits and works perfectly. AppleCar play is a real enhancement to the existing MB command / control system. No more phone clamps stuck on windscreen or air vents.

Reassuring that they email you to check the product you are ordering is definitely compatible with your vehicle. Install was relatively straightforward if you have a bit of knowledge. Had a small resolution issue but support got back to me the same day and was sorted! Brilliant service and product very pleased.

Although the device itself is great, the support I got from the team at thecockpituk.com would be reason enough to buy again from them. Extremely accountable, ended up helping when the issue was the installation on my side.

I contacted Thecockpituk regarding putting Apple car play into my car, asked for the relevant information for the right model and pointed out the car should already have it fitted. Which I was completely unaware. Top knowledge from them. Thanks a lot

Product was faulty. Sent it back. They refunded me £196 out of £245. Chasing the remainder through credit card company.
Could not get them on the phone. Only through email and WhatsApp chat.
Terrible company.

Update 11 Nov 25: vendor got in touch to offer remaining £49 to remove chargeback. I agreed and asked credit card company to remove chargeback.

The response from Mo in Tech Support was brilliant. When I text a request for installation advice, his response was prompt, followed by an arranged video call. He was very polite and patient.

Bought a Bosch CarPlay and was having a little tech problem, but they helped me tremendously in sorting it all out. Highly recommended and will be letting my friends know where to get their CarPlay from.

Second time installing this kit to a Mercedes now and never had a problem with the product quality. Did have some difficulties installing this one due to the fact the car didn't have a dedicated aux port.
The technical support team were great, fast response and very patient in explaining what I needed to do to get it working correctly.
Would happily use this product again and highly recommend due to great quality and support when needed.

Based on other feedback I booked install with Nottingham installer (avoid spending hours myself).
Install availability good; first weekend in calendar. Lunchtime slot. Nice guys. Quick install. No issues.
Glad I paid the install, lots of devil in detail issues. Unit works well and integrates with factory standard stuff.

I had an awful experience with Cockpit Android Auto and strongly recommend that others stay away from this company.

I purchased their Android Auto unit, which turned out to be completely faulty. It fails to connect to Bluetooth

Has constant sound glitches that make it unusable

To make matters worse, during installation the technician broke one of my car’s air conditioning vents — and there was no apology was given untill I make a complaint. The engineer did not tell me he had broken my vent and when he attempted to replace it he did not align and his remark was thats the best I can do.

When I contacted the company to explain the issues and request a refund, they refused outright. Despite the product clearly being defective and the installation causing damage, they were unhelpful and dismissive.

This has been a complete waste of money, time, and effort. Poor quality product, even worse customer service.I will have to go get a new one fixed elsewhere.

Avoid Cockpit at all costs.
