We have used The Coach Hire People for our European Events this Summer , the service has been 5* and Lee has been great to deal with and so helpful! We will be using these guys going forward for sure for our future events, and would highly recommend them.

Hello 👋 I booked a coach with Hunts Coach hire for a day trip from Hagworthingham Lincolnshire to Nottingham city centre on 14/5/2025 at a reasonable cost, Daryl the driver was at the pickup point in good time introducing himself with a cheerful greeting and welcoming smile and after the usual safety instructions we set off to pick up the rest of the passengers. The journey both ways ran very smoothly and everyone said what a great experience they had, and I quote saying ‘when’s the next day trip???’ So all in all Daryl did us proud being very good mannered and very amenable at all times! So a huge thanks to hunts coach company customer service together with our driver Daryl for a super smooth running day to Nottingham x

Competitive price, very helpful with with making arrangements, a great coach and driver and all went to schedule.

We hired The Coach Hire People for our recent corporate event in Birmingham. Despite plenty of moving parts and several logistical challenges from our side, Lee ensured everything was covered to make the whole process as seamless as possible.

The coaches were modern and all drivers were punctual. Lee is very attentive and accommodating, and his overall customer service is great. Highly recommend their services!

The whole process of booking with The Coach Hire People was great from start to finish. I needed a coach for Friday, and reached out to them on the Monday. Lee was so prompt with responding but also extremely supportive throughout the whole booking process. Mr Siva , our driver, was super friendly too! The price was very reasonable and I will definitely be booking them again!

Absolutely fantastic experience! We recently booked a trip to the Cotswold villages on October 5th, and I can't praise the customer service enough. Dean went above and beyond to assist us, even navigating some complications caused by a third party. Our driver, Abi, was exceptional—he catered to all our requests, from making stops along the way to playing our favorite music. I 100% recommend this company!

My name is Patricia and I organised a trip to Margate with my local charity.
I booked a coach from a family firm and I received excellent customer service- all the individuals I spoke to were very helpful especially the team leader. On the day they sent me the drivers details and telephone number- just in case. The day of the trip - it rained heavily , and then calmed down. The driver was very polite and accommodating and very experienced by the way she handled the coach in tight spots. The coach itself was very comfortable, clean and just the right size for the trip. I enjoyed the trip even though it rained. I have already recommended this firm and hope to have the same hospitality we received during the trip. Thank you Lee.

I am so happy with the service we received on Sunday. Our driver was so pleasant and helpful. He was also ontime upon arrival and departure, he made sure we were all comfortable. We paid for a 53 seater and on the day we got a larger coach with no extra cost. We were grateful and made the most of our comfort😍

We hired a minibus to bring 19 guests, including very close family from Kent to London for our wedding (cost c. £1100). The driver arrived 2 hours late. He told our guests that he had accidentally overslept. Our wedding was delayed by an hour.
The mid evening return journey went smoothly.
Our original complaint, sent when we returned from honeymoon, was mislaid. When I chased a week later, we received a response which I found rather naive and complacent, not recognising the distress the delay had caused to us and our guests.
When I responded in a robust but not rude manner, the Director (Lee Hunt) intervened, challenging me for being rude to his young member of staff, referring to them by their first name and telling me they were just over 16 years old. (There was nothing in the email to identify them as a trainee. This raised a question for me about the sort of organisation that leaves customer relations in the hands of a 16 year old and fails to identify them as a trainee?)
Mr Hunt summarily withdrew the offer of a paltry refund of £75 because of the tone of my e-mail and also because I complained outside the timescale of 5 days. I raised my initial complaint after 10 days; we had been on honeymoon.
We found the complaints process to be opaque and the decision-making capricious.
Do not use this company. They are complacent and self-satisfied, not at all interested in improving customer experience.

This company does not even deserve 1 star. They are not truthful. Very unsympathetic and uncaring. Once you pay, they never refund even if the service was not provided and they are at fault. They hide under some small print terms and conditions so please beware!!!

They were hired to ferry 85 people from my daughter's church wedding on Brompton road West London to the reception venue in Mayfair West London. This is a 10 minute journey at a cost of £995, which was paid. After waiting over half an hour with no explanation for not showing up, and no answer from the driver whose number we were given to call, we got through to the owner/manager who only then explained that the coach was running late due to pre planned closures on the M25 which they say they were aware of and made adequate plans for. After waiting 45 mins, we let them know we can no longer wait and made alternative arrarrangements at our own cost. We will therefore no longer be at the venue or need their services. We will also be asking for a refund. When we contacted them after the event, they said despite the fact that we told them we could no longer wait and we were going to make alternative arrangements, the coach still went to the venue 1 hour late and so we were not due for a refund as they were covered for this failure under their terms and conditions. They felt it was a gesture of goodwill on their own part to offer us £100 as compensation. Take it or leave it. !!! We were passed to to their absolutely cold and unsympathetic customer rep who was not prepared to listen or understand that we did not only not receive the service, but we also incurred additional charges to make alternative arrangements. They had fore knowledge of the M25 closures and could have made adequate arrangements to arrive in good time. They could also have warned us that this was a possibility so we had the option to make alternative arrangements earlier. They could have contacted us to let us know they were running late, but we had to do the contact!!! This is absolutely a disgusting way to treat clients on one of the most important days of their lives. They now robbed salt on the injury by offering a stupid amount as compensation with no room for negotiation!!! I never leave bad reviews but I felt I had to on this occasion. I refused their rude offer of £100 compensation. A good apology, care and consideration for clients feelings and convenience is the key to customer service. Profit is not everything. You did not provide the £995 service , you took our money and you told us to buzz off if we are not happy with a £100 refund 🙄. Where is the Justice in that????
