I can honestly say that Mike Chapman from The Book Publishing Company is the best I’ve ever come across in regard to publishing companies. When I began looking around at different places to help publish my book, (((and it was A LOT))) I didn’t know where to start, who to trust to hand over my manuscript to, or what kind of budget I was looking at. Mike was the guy that went above and beyond to make sure all those worries were covered. The one thing that really stood out was his patience. This man has the best patience because I really can be a handful!! He walked with me through every step of the way. The first week was exciting and full of adventure! Everything from getting a team together to edit my manuscript, discussed a plan around budgeting and making it affordable, worked overtime with a team to help illustrate each page according to my children’s story, and was VERY professional!! Mike was in contact through not only email, but through text and phone calls, keeping me updated and informed! I felt as if we worked as a team. I felt safe and comfortable talking to him about my book and he listened while helping me through all the fears and frustrations with how to illustrate. As I get ready to begin another children’s book adventure with Mike (second book), I know everything will turn out great like it did the first time!
