Ordered a Father's Day package. Firstly, it didn't arrive in time. Secondly, when it did arrive, it had been paxkaged really badly so cans had leaked, the book was totally ruined and I was unable to give it as a gift.

Contacted them straight away but had no response so ended up raising a case via PayPal. Contact offerd a partial refund but I refused as the whole package was damaged.

I have had to send it back to them at my own cost to attempt to get a full refund. Still awaiting a resolution 3 weeks from when first raise a complaint.

Wholly unprofessional.

My experience was absolutely fantastic! I was in regular contact with the team as I was wanting to make sure I get my order before a specific date due to it being a secret santa gift! They gave me reassurance that not only will it arrive but were transparent and told me I would not get the Christmas edition as I was ordering it a week early, however they were able to make the box a little Christmasy with a personal message!

Got a one off subscription as a gift as well as a pack of beers. Both products arrived when expected, ordering was easy and both the gift and the box of beers were throughly enjoyed.
Will buy from this company again.

I bought the monthly subscription as a Birthday present for my partner, and he says it was the best present ever.He loves trying out the new beers and the book selection is excellent.We then read other books by the same authors.The books are always well written and you can't put them down.

Great service. Each book has been different yet thoroughly enjoyable in their own right. Great tasting beers as well.

A brilliant present for my husbands birthday, lots of unusual beers, that he would not have tried otherwise, and some good books too.

The best beer selection so far, the Berliner sour was a delight, the NEIPA was a belter.

I purchased a Father's Day gift pack with 6 beers and a book, and I have to say I was very impressed with the selection of beers provided, there was a mixture of 3 styles from breweries I'd not come across before alongside an interesting sounding book! My Dad was equally impressed when he received it too.

Everything was well packaged and the delivery was quick, arriving on time as advertised! Would buy from again.

Ordered the Father's Day Classic Gift Box containing six cans and a mystery book. On receipt my dad found one of the cans had burst damaging the book and although still sealed the other cans are damaged. Accidents happen but the communication and customer service left me frustrated. I emailed the Book and Beer club and after three days with no response used their online chat. My impression was that they were more focused on the impact to their business at having to send additional cans than on the impact to me as a customer.

I had difficulty in providing a photo to verify the damage as my dad was unable to send a photo and lives in another part of the country so I couldnt simply go round to see for myself. I appreciate that there are people who may try and take advantage but there was no appreciation for the scenario and they unhelpfully relied on parcel force saying that as the package was signed for it must have been in good condition, otherwise why would someone have accepted the package. Unfortunately it was a neighbour who signed for it not my dad.

I have now been able to supply a photo and replacement cans have been received for which my dad is very grateful.

The beers themselves I could recommend but the customer service left me unable to say I would use them again.

The concept of beer and books is great, although the beer is drunk a lot quicker than the books are read !!!
