I had to cancel my order when it still hadn't arrived after a month and they couldn't advise me when it might come.

In ther defence, I did get a refund back to my credit card within a few days.

I wouldn't use again.

I ordered over £300 worth of equipment in October and paid for express delivery which never arrived, chased the order via email, was told they were busy and asked me to be patient which l was, after 2 weeks still nothing delivered, chased by phone a few times but no answer so l cancelled my order online, l received an email from them saying refund would be 7-10 working days which of course never arrived l went to my credit card provider and they have refunded me this week.

I have used this company for years had great service when l visited their shop and spent a lot of money with them but something has gone wrong and l will not be using them again.

I ordered a new riser which showed as “in stock”, after 3 weeks without update I cancelled. Archery shop said a refund would take 7-10 working days which has come and gone. I’ve now had to raise a dispute with my credit card provider.
The shop appears to be taking orders they can’t fulfil.
Save yourself the hassle and avoid The Archery Shop.

I've now been waiting since October for my order to arrive. Still nothing.

Aside from one very delayed email apologising for the delay (~1 month ago), I've had nothing.. no communication, no apology, just silence.

Stay well clear of this place. It's quite possibly run by one person in their mum's basement.

Incredibly unprofessional, terrible service, and worst, I STILL have not received my finger tab.

I want a refund and I want it now.

UPDATE:

After going to see them in person when they opened in Jan, Carl confirmed that he didn't even have the item I ordered and paid for on the 11th of December. He cancelled my order, but has not refunded my money and the shop has not been open since. Looks like I may have to report as fraud and contact the police. Please don't use as it will cause you unnecessary stress and drama. A great example of how not to run a business.

Please please avoid until they sort themselves out. Clearly going through some issues and I wish I had read the reviews before trusting this local business.

I purchased a Christmas present on-line and they have since failed to be open for me to collect it. They are not answering emails and on going down there again today, they have a sign up saying they are closed until January.

No communication at all, no one answering emails or taking calls. Very poorly run by management, which is a shame because I know one of their staff members was very helpful. Hence why we decided to buy from them.

Unfortunately I would never use again, I would advise people to avoid and I would happily pay more to another company who actually cared about their reputation and customers.

Scam company. If you are reading this there is a very high chance that you will not receive what you have ordered. I ordered in the first week of November and have been unable to contact them by email or phone despite countless attempts. My advise would be to recover the money via your bank and report them to their local trading standards (Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole council) trading.standards@bcpcouncil .gov.uk
If they receive enough complaints they will investigate.
I paid by debit card but still managed to get my money back by clicking on the purchase in the banking app and reporting that I did not receive the goods.

Placed order nothing arrived they used to be good but not anymore tried to phone never answered answer phone says call between 10 and 2 again never answered I think I will get in touch with PayPal for a refund

Ordered and paid for two mini redback crossbows 20th November ,after a week nothing contacted shop 28th and daughter answered saying would ship out that day to me and added spare strings to order £14,. Weeks waiting I tried to phone nothing all week . So I Google map searched for business. Was there a unit ,contacted Moore speed racing opposite ,who told Me they pop in for hour a day ,never there to receive stock or mail and have been getting it delivered there . So post a big recognisable parcel there and wait for someone to collect it from Moores. I would personally visit him , if he lived closer .This man deserves punishing severely. There is clearly tens of thousands involved here and I paid via debit not credit card.

I must agree with other reviews. Appalling outfit to deal with ! I placed my order for items that were shown online as being available and would be delivered within 5-7 working days. Waited 4 weeks and still no sign. Goods never arrived and this company seems to have a very active policy of not responding to e mails and either not answering their phone. Having eventually getting an answer on the phone I was told they had sent it. Waited another two weeks, still no item. Chased again and was told it would be sent out within 5 to 7 days. Eventually managed to cancel the order and was told i would get a refund in 7 to 10 days? Quick enough to take your money but don't supply the goods and then don't respond to communication. I imagine I will need to chase the refund. This company should not be allowed to operate - avoid them at all costs.

Order placed emails received . No products delivered. Don't answer phone or respond to emails. Launching credit card reclaim! So sad they used to be excellent - now just non existent .

Fake Shop
This archery shop is a fake shop for me. The problem is, I ordered a prime shirt 6 months ago. They say it's a special order and would take longer. My emails were ignored and I haven't called yet. I was always told that it was a special order and was still taking time, but I paid by bank transfer and will probably go to the police and file a fraud report. If only I had read the review beforehand, very very annoying. The shop should be closed by the authorities so that more people don't lose their money

Same things here as many people seem to be saying lately. Ordered parts no sign on them over 2 months later. Refusing to reply to emails or answer the phone. Do not purchase from them.

Do Not Buy From Them

Ordered items on the 30 sept, at first they will answer e-mails and phone calls but then you are just start ignored.

When you do get a reply it is just a generic standard response that they send out in a chain email I can only presume are all the other disappointed that called on the same day.

I have still never received the items.

All delivery dates come and pass. They should be up front and honest of when they can supply the items and let you know and give you the option of refund or wait for the item to be shipped.

I have given up trying to get in touch with them I have 10 weeks for my order so they have had ample time to complete my order.

I am now trying to claim my monies back through credit card company.

Dishonest Traders

I have to echo some of the others on here.

I ordered some expensive arrows almost two months ago.

No arrows, no updates. I have emailed them 4 or 5 times. The last couple of times they sent me emails saying that they were just about to ship. These were outright lies.

It seems that systematically lying to their customers is their business model.

The "drop-shipping" excuse doesn't wash with me, people are not getting their stuff at all now, and two months is long enough for a parcel to circle the planet several times by post.

Just received refunds for goods ordered over 3 months ago. No apologies, no reasons why.....AVOID
I have spoken to many people at the British Indoors this weekend.
It's the same story, paid money, not receiving goods and not getting replies.
The Archery Shop needs to stop trading, sort out the financial issues it is obviously in.

Do not buy from this company.
Ordered a crossbow for a Friends Bithday but never got it. Had to cancel order to buy elsewhere. Was told refund 'would hit my account' in 7 to 10 days. It never did. Now the ignoring my messages/calls started. Had to claim money back through credit card company

Ordered a quiver from them on the 7th of October, and never received it. I enquired about a couple of weeks later and, quelle surprise, was told that it would arrive next week. It didn't. I then emailed them to cancel the cancel the order and send me confirmation, which I had to do FOUR times.

Fortunately, I ordered through Klarna on installments, so they only got the first one. I informed Klarna that the item hadn't arrived and they paused the payment process. I then had to wait three weeks, and send The Archery Shop the other three emails after the initial one, telling them that both I and Klarna needed confirmation of cancellation, and still heard nothing. Last Saturday (25th of November) Klarna emailed me asking for more information, which I gave them. Today (28th of November) I finally got an email from the Archery Shop that they had cancelled my order and would refund the initial payment.

I am angry, that not only was my order not fulfilled, but that they completely ignored me until Klarna got involved. If anyone is thinking of buying more expensive gear from this "shop", which I don't recommend, at least do it through Klarna. At least then you will have a safety net when the inevitable failure to deliver occurs.

Avoid. Like others, I wish I had looked at the reviews before ordering. Placed an order on the 7th November. Haven't heard anything from them since and will not answer the phone, or rather they hang up on answering. Have started a claim process with the credit card company.

Just awful. Still waiting for items ordered as in stock, months ago. Never answer the phone. When they do reply to an email they just tell you it will arrive next week, but it never does
