The process of replacing my existing Hearing Aids with new up to date technology Hearing Aids was impressive. The Audiologist, Celeste de Frietas, is very knowledgeable and competent, as well as easy to get on with. I found it reassuring knowing that replacing my Hearing Aids was in capable hands, and all went smoothly.

The help that I had from Celeste de Freitas was excellent. I had to replace my right hearing aid due to it being lost whilst abroad. My initial consultation was very helpful and the second visit to receive my new hearing aid was excellent. Celeste is a very good and personable individual who makes you feel at ease and helps you all along the way.

Celeste, at New Romney, provided first rate instruction for my new hearing aids, with good attention to detail.

My consultant, Celeste de Freitas, was absolutely brilliant. She was very professional and explained everything thoroughly. She made the whole experience a pleasure. I hadn't realised how bad my hearing had become until I was fitted with my hearing aids. I just wish I had had them sooner.

Celeste made Mum feel relaxed and comfortable and explained everything simply and thoroughly at the assessment and fitting.

Celeste de Freitas immediately put me at ease with her reassurring, friendly & professional manner. She has excellent customer care skills as well as audiology expertise. I am a very happy customer.

I cannot thank Celeste enough for how she handled the delicate situation with getting my mum hearing aids, she was very reluctant and worried about the process and wearing them, but Celeste was amazing simplifying and being direct with her tone and language to accommodate my mum. Being thorough and ensuring any worries that she could anticipate were answered and demonstrated.
Celste gave mum confidence and was very generous with her time, putting my mum at ease and helping bring her back into the conversation now she can hear and join in on what we are saying.
So pleased with the process, fitting and follow up service.

I have recently transferred to THCP following the retirement of my audiologist, imagine my alarm when I lost one of my hearing aids just a few days after he had retired.
Since then I have had two appointments, one to have my replacement aid fitted and another for ear wax removal, both with very thorough, good humoured and helpful professionals. First class service and excellent value for money.

James Musselwhite provided excellent care in all respects. Most grateful. Brilliant service to have at the Community Hub.

Went to see James, Had a blocked hear he’s was quick and efficient to book me in and cleaned both hears. Hearing is a 1000 times better now. Highly recommend people to get this done.

I had a hearing test because I find it difficult to hear clearly what someone is saying among a group of 6 or so people. I'm sure the testing was accurate, showing I have some hearing loss, but the advice was not. I was told I wasn't "normal" because I react strongly to sounds but I have asked well over 20 people if they react strongly and only 2 said no.

I was told such reaction was "misophonia," a supposedly emotional condition but I don't agree with so-called "disorders" or "conditions" (unless they are physical) and reject the medicalisation of everyday life (however troubling) - see Thomas Szasz. The company responded to my review by telling me that this "disorder" is "science" but that's just what I am disagreeing with. I think this type of "science" is pseudo-science and, to stress the point, there are no such "disorders" or "conditions" and I am opposed to the medicalisation of everyday life. It's a question of ethics, not medicine.

I was told to seek CBT which I don't agree with; it's superficial. I was told I had moderate to severe hearing loss but I researched this and "moderate hearing loss" means not being able to hear someone speaking at normal volume, which I have no problem with, even when someone is wearing a mask, usually. If anything I have mild hearing loss but can still hear leaves rustling etc. The company's response to my review does not even attempt to address this.

I was told I'd have to wait a year for an NHS hearing test, but a number of my friends have had one within a few months, and that NHS hearing aids are poor but I researched this too and found that many people got infections from invisible in-the-ear aids and had gone back to the NHS. The NHS aids are free; private ones are £1,500 to £5,000.

The service I received was personal professional Friendly & Relaxed & as a result I have had my hearing fully restored with the fitting of a pair of
Incredible & Virtually invisible hearing aids, I can't thank Stephanie enough for her time & expertise in all aspects of my hearing Loss & I Have no Hesitation in recommending her to all who have any hearing problems,

Having attained the age of 74 years I never realized that I had any kind of hearing loss. I did know that I have suffered with Tinnitus for quite a number of years, and longed for the day when it would cease.
Well - that day has finally arrived. Today - I visited Stephanie Hedicker BSc (Hons)PG DipRHAD - Audiologist, in the New Romney Optical and Hearing Centre.
She fitted me with my first pair of hearing Aids and after the fitting I was totally astounded at the difference when she turned them on. Everything was Crystal Clear. I could easily hear every sound, including every chair creak, keyboard tap, and even my own voice was so clear. But above all as hard as I tried - I could hear no more tinnitus.
I was close to tears, after all these years. I have thought so many times as to whether I should now try to do something about this awful disability, and although I knew it would cost me money - I now feel it is going to be worth every penny. The right technology has, at last arrived.
Oh yes - she also cleared all the wax out of both of my ears and now with my new hearing aids - I can at last enjoy listening to my favourite music and hearing the sounds as I should from my Favourite TV programmes without having to turn up the sound too loud
She has even arranged for me to pay over the next 12 months and the payments suit my pocket very well.
