Damage and no communication

We received a damaged frame. We ordered a refund or replacement, up till today we have not heard from them for that.

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service. I have ordered a few items from them in December as a Christmas present and still haven't received them. I have tried to contact the company and they didn't respond. I also tried to get a refund but wasn't successful. Never buying anything from them again.

Scam?

Ordered a table in November that advertised a 2-3 week lead time. 12 weeks later: no table. Despite repeated attempts to contact the company, they've only responded once (with an estimated delivery date that came and went, and no explanation for the long delay). I initiated a chargeback through my bank and got a refund. I can only assume this is a scam.

I was a little unsure after ordering

I was a little unsure after ordering, given all the negative reviews, but the cushions matched the photos, arrived in 3 days, were packed well, and had no marks or damage. The size and finish were exactly what I hoped for.

I order a bed on the 30th November

I order a bed on the 30th November, it is now February 8th, I wrote many emails, spoke to a bot, left a message to the Shop App, I really tried everything and never ever received an answer. Clearly reading the reviews here I am now the only one. They immediately took my money sent a receipt and besides this I never received any news. I am wondering if the company is even leggit. Glad to read some people eventually got their order but this is the pooresr service I ever experience and I am ordering a lot from different websites.

I ordered 2 matching pillows for the 2…

I ordered 2 matching pillows for the 2 chairs in my living room and when I received an email that my order would be shipped out I was notified on that same email that 1 of the 2 pillows I ordered was refunded. I was never given a reason why or the option to pick a different fabric if the one I chose was no longer available or cancel my whole order completely as I have no use for just 1 pillow, I need the matching set. I emailed a few different company email addresses and have not heard back. I received the 1 pillow 10 minutes ago and I really like it but I need a matching set and also don’t want to wait another month for them to send me an another one. Also I looked on the website and it looks like the fabric I ordered is still available to order so again I’m not sure why the full order was not processed from the start.

Order Cancelled by them and NO Refund

I ordered a sofa end of Nov. with an estimated delivery time of 4–8 weeks. By the end of Jan., having received no dispatch notification, I contacted them and was told they would get back to me. They did not.

I had to contact them several times, clearly expressing my concern that I spent a A LOT OF MONEY on this sofa!!

Now, WITHOUT any prior message or explanation, my order has been cancelled - I waited 2 months for you to now cancel it?????

AND my money has not been returned..!!
This is unacceptable. I demand an IMMEDIATE FULL REFUND! Cancelling an order without notice while keeping the payment is CRIMINAL.

Please confirm when my money will be returned!!!

Ridiculous customer service that lacks responsibility on all levels

I ordered a bed frame worth €1,300 from this company and every single shipment has arrived damaged. The original order was damaged, and both “replacement” shipments were also damaged — three deliveries in total, all unusable.

The initial order was placed in early June and the first shipment arrived in late July. Replacement shipments dragged on for over four months, with the final replacement arriving damaged in mid-November. I emailed the company multiple times with photos and detailed explanations, but my messages have been completely ignored.

It has now been more than half a year since I placed the order, and I still do not have a functional bed frame, no resolution for the damaged shipments, and no way of contacting the company. Their lack of responsibility and total silence is absolutely ridiculous.

Do NOT buy from this website — you will lose your money if anything goes wrong.

We’re genuinely sorry for the experience you’ve had and understand why this situation has been frustrating, especially given the time involved.

The issues you encountered were specific to the manufacturer of this product. After repeated cases of insufficient packaging for shipping and structural quality problems, we have made the decision to stop offering their products entirely. This was not a transit issue alone. As shown in the replacement parts you received, the damage occurred at natural branch knots in the pine wood, which points to a material and structural integrity issue rather than shipping impact or handling issues.

The brand controls production, quality, and replacement parts. While we coordinated and pushed continuously on your behalf, we could not alter their manufacturing standards or speed up their replacement process. In several cases, replacement parts already arrived damaged to our warehouse before being forwarded, which added further delay and complexity due to the need to start the replacement process from the beginning.

The current replacement parts are already being processed by the manufacturer. Once they arrive with us, we will add additional protective packaging and reinforcement on our end before shipping to Australia to reduce the risk of further damage and delay.

We fully acknowledge the inconvenience caused and regret that this order did not meet the standard we expect for our customers. This experience directly influenced our decision to end our partnership with the brand, so that similar situations do not happen again.

We work with hundreds of customers each month, and the vast majority of orders are delivered without issue. We take feedback like yours seriously and use it to make concrete changes to how we operate and which brands we represent.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. i got the karup design bed frame through them and it came literally with the incorrect misfitted parts. i still haven’t gotten the bed fully fixed and they don’t do full refunds on items. i did get some missing items too and they shipped them which fixed half the problem but then i got an invoice charging me from UPS for their mistake in having to send me the missing parts. horrible service and please save your money and put it into more trustworthy websites.

Update: So as of 2/3/2026, this company has tried to flag my review as “defamatory” and get it taken down but has failed. Also i genuinely believed that i may have misread that the invoice i was originally talking about was just a receipt but no where on the invoice I got did it say that specifically. This company continues to not exceed my expectations and standards and I keep my review firm that you should try to originally buy from the name brand seller rather than this third party to save time, money, and to enjoy a great customer experience.

We share that frustration, especially when it comes down to replacement parts and packaging. We have also raised the issue of insufficient packaging for replacements directly with the brand as we send all Karup design orders in the brands original packaging.

To clarify the timeline on our side: we sent the replacement part you requested, and we have not received any further message that another part is needed, or that there were UPS delivery problems that prevented you from receiving it.

On the UPS invoice, we ship all orders Delivery Duties Paid, so there should not be any extra charges due on delivery. In some cases, UPS sends a copy of a receipt that can look like a bill at first glance, but it is marked “do not pay.” If you forward the document to our customer support team, we will gladly review it with you and help resolve it.

terrible business conduct

I placed an order on October 8. At the time of purchase, the stated shipping window was 3–5 weeks. On November 4, I received an update indicating that the order would ship on November 24. That date came and went without any communication from your company. Upon reaching out numerous times, I finally heard back on Dec 1 that my order would ship on Jan 5. Again, that date came and went without any communication whatsoever. I sent an email on Jan 5 and still haven’t heard anything.

This is extremely disappointing and frankly unacceptable.

After our earlier update, the supplier later confirmed a stock discrepancy and we could not reliably confirm the lead time. As a result, the order was cancelled, and a full refund has been issued. The refund has been processed and should be reflected in your bank account.

Zero stars for customer service and…

Zero stars for customer service and failure to fulfill order. I recently wrote a review about not receiving my order from that cool living. The company replied back on trust pilot ( they haven’t replied to any of my emails since December- well done TRUSTPILOT , you are obviously much more influential than their customers ) to say they had cancelled my order and were issuing a refund. Unfortunately, since paying for my order, my bank card was compromised and I have been issued with a new card and number. Once again That Cool Living customer service are not replying to my messages as to how I can send them my new bank card number to facilitate a safe refund. My frustration is ongoing

You publicly requested the cancellation of your order, which we processed accordingly. A cancellation and refund confirmation was sent to you by email. As the matter had already been resolved and your position was clearly stated, we did not see a need to open a separate conversation in parallel.

We also want to clarify that you sent us a message around three hours ago, before posting this second public review, and we had not yet had the chance to respond.

Regarding the refund, we are unable to issue refunds to a different card than the one originally used for payment. This is a standard fraud prevention measure applied by payment providers and is in place to protect both customers and merchants. For security reasons, we cannot accept new card details or redirect refunds to alternative cards.

In cases where a card has been replaced, banks typically route refunds sent to the original card to the replacement card or the associated account. We recommend contacting your bank directly so they can confirm how this works under their terms and conditions.

I am extremely disappointed which seems…

I am extremely disappointed which seems to be a theme with this company. As others explained, I placed an order for a cutlery set on 9/17 with an estimated 3-5 week delivery. When that window came and went, I inquired and only a week later did I get a response. I was told that my order would be ready within a week and ship out express. 2 more weeks went by, I heard nothing and checked in again. No response at all. In the meantime a UPS label was created of which I was notified (by the SHOP app) with the origin in Spain and then a week later was cancelled. I have still not received a response and am now disputing all charges. HORRIBLE company if it is even a company, seems more like an online scam.

We would like to clarify that the items in your order were placed on backorder by the manufacturer. Unfortunately, this was not communicated to us at the time of ordering. We only became aware of the issue when the items did not arrive at our warehouse together with other scheduled orders, which led to the delay. This was not something we could foresee in advance.

Once a chargeback was initiated, we accepted the claim without dispute, and a full refund was issued to you.
