I’ve never written a review in my life, but this experience honestly forced me to. I would give 0 stars if that were possible. I already had a lot of issues while using the service: synchronization didn’t work sometimes, and there were constant problems with the camera and microphone. Overall, it just felt unreliable and frustrating to use. But the real problem started after that: I canceled my subscription on January 30, 2026, after receiving a refund earlier this year. Since then, I have not re-subscribed, I have not created another account, and I have not used any other email address. Yet somehow, on March 16, 2026, I was charged again for a full annual subscription, without any authorization. I contacted support multiple times and provided all the details, including the transaction date, card information, and screenshots, but instead of actually investigating the issue, I kept receiving the same copy-paste responses. They kept asking for an invoice or another email address, which makes no sense because there was no valid subscription in the first place. That is exactly the issue. It honestly feels like nobody is even properly reviewing the case. To me, this comes across as extremely unprofessional: a service that already had technical problems, barely worked reliably, and then still charges money again after cancellation without authorization. I would strongly advise others to not use this service.

Utterly horrible company. They will not allow you to log in to cancel your subscriotion and they still have not replied to my email, which I sent last year (Feb 2025).
They have scammed me out of 2 years of subscription. The only option is to contact my bank and ban them from my account.

Teleparty did not work at all. My partner and I got premium subscriptions to be able to talk and video call during our watch parties and this feature caused the whole thing t just stop working all together. I expect a refund for paying for something that does not work.

If I could, I would give this website ZERO STARS. It is horrible, I have spend 30 minutes trying to create a link that works for friends to join. Unfortunately, those 30 minutes were a waste of time as I could have been just enjoying their company. Additionally, I wanted to pay the monthly rate but I was billed FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR. This website is ABSOLUTELY BROKEN. Never use this website, it is practically useless, broken, awful, etc.

I went to cancel my one week free subscription well before the end of the time period, but the website claimed I wasn’t a premium member meaning I wasn’t given the option to cancel the trial. Once the time period was up I got a charge taken from me for a years subscription (around £40). I contacted the helpline over a week ago and have had no response or refund.

I received a pop up on my screen "Meow" by someone named Jason and at that time I hadn't even turned on my teleparty. This is a serious concern because this clearly shows there's a breach of privacy. I instantly removed the extension from my chrome. This was creepy af.

I recently experienced a serious privacy and security breach with Teleparty on the Chrome browser. While watching Netflix (and not using Teleparty), a pop-up message saying "I'm watching you" appeared through the Teleparty plugin. I had never given consent to receive messages from strangers, and this occurred even though Teleparty wasn't running at the time. This incident raises significant concerns about the app's security and privacy measures, as such unauthorized interactions should never be possible. Teleparty needs to address this issue immediately to protect its users.

I am a Teleparty premium subscriber and I am extremely upset and disappointed with TeleParty's lack of service! I had a major corporate event scheduled on June 19, 2023 to stream a movie from Amazon Prime to an organization of about 600 people in my company. However, when I went to share the link. THEIR SERVICE WOULD NOT REDIRECT THE ATTENDEES TO THE MOVIE!
This is totally unacceptable!
I want to know how they are going to fix this problem.
Also, why Teleparty did not put a notification on their website or email subscribers that their service is not working properly?!

Super tjeneste - mangler blot Firefox-, iOS, Android og Mac/Windows-support, samt evnen til tale og video, med tilføjelsen af "Push-to-Talk", hvis man ønsker det fremfor "Constant On" - for mindre baggrundsstøj, under nydelsen af en film, serie - eller andet.

Derudover har konkurrenten - tilføjelse af upload via Google Drive og Google Fotos. Det bør tilføjes, samt support af andre tjenester, f.eks. Dropbox, Tresorit og Mega.

So good! Over lockdown it helped me watch things conveniently with my girlfriend. The interface is uninvasive and simple. Perfect extension.
