Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience you faced.

We deeply regret the issues with communication and time management you encountered during your interview process. As a startup, we are continuously working to improve our processes, and your feedback is invaluable in helping us identify areas for improvement.

Our system currently does not allow for WhatsApp calls or calling international numbers, but we are looking to change this very soon. However, we should have been more responsive and attentive to your communication preferences.

Dear Jane,

To clarify for both you and the public, TeacherTee is a recruitment agency that connects qualified teachers with reputable online schools. The TEFL qualification you obtained is from TEFL UK, an organization accredited by Training Qualifications UK and Ofqual. For anyone curious, you can verify these accreditations on their websites or even on government sites.

We responded to your concerns within 8 hours, requesting evidence from the Intensive School of English that your TEFL certificate was fake. However, you did not provide any evidence and instead left a negative review within 30 minutes of our response.

We have never encountered anyone being turned down from a job teaching English as a second language online due to their TEFL qualification. After checking out the company you provided, the school based in the UK that you applied for required a QTS or PGCE. It appears there may have been some confusion, as you may have mistakenly thought the TEFL qualification was equivalent to these requirements.

Additionally, it seems there is a pattern of leaving negative reviews when refunds for online courses are not granted. This trend is evident in your other reviews on Trustpilot.

We want to categorically state that the TEFL qualification from TEFL UK is legitimate. We encourage anyone reading this, including Jane, to please do the research themselves. Visit tefluk.com and you will see all the awarding bodies, such as Ofqual and Training Qualifications UK, which are government-recognized entities.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We genuinely appreciate hearing from our candidates as it helps us improve our services.

As a small start-up agency, we are committed to providing personalized attention to every candidate. However, given the volume of inquiries we receive daily, it is challenging to accommodate Zoom calls for everyone. Our system does not facilitate Zoom calls, this is something we are looking to implement down the line as we grow.

Additionally, if your contact number is not based in the UK, our system won't allow us to call you directly. This is why we specifically request to connect via WhatsApp, as it enables us to communicate with candidates globally without these restrictions.

Regarding your feedback about us rescheduling calls, we have reviewed our system and consulted with our team. We have records indicating that you missed our initial call because another agency called you, and you mistakenly thought it was us. The second call, which you mentioned was rescheduled, was actually due to a double booking on your end. Therefore, it seems there was some confusion on both sides.

We understand the frustration of missed and rescheduled appointments and are constantly working to enhance our processes. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and hope you can understand the constraints we are working within as a growing company.

Startup Status: TeacherTee is indeed a startup. It is common for startups to focus on growth and development in their initial stages, which may result in not showing profits immediately. This is a standard phase in the lifecycle of new businesses.

Transparency: Our company details are publicly available on Companies House, as you discovered. It is typical for startups to take time to become profitable, and this is a well-understood aspect of business development.

Team Members: Luke Sheppard, our founder, is active on LinkedIn, if you google "Luke Sheppard TeacherTee LinkedIn" you'll find it... Fran Wallace has recently joined our team three weeks ago. As she focuses on her responsibilities, setting up her LinkedIn profile is forthcoming.

Reviews: While we appreciate all feedback, suggesting that all positive reviews are suspicious is an unfounded claim. We genuinely value feedback from our users as it helps us grow and improve.
