I was recommended to Taylor Walton By a couple of people, I did get a couple of other quotes but found their pricing very competitive! They acted as a solicitors for selling my parents house in St Albans and buying a bungalow in Peterborough, We had some time constraints and Shalina Patel and the team were very professional in getting everything done in time and on price!
Very pleased with the service, I would use them again!

Go elsewhere. Kimberley Osbourne is the worse conveyancing lawyer. Dragging things out, delay after delay and rude behaviour when challenged. Zero empathy and will leave you without a roof over your head.

Caroline Hume has been incredibly helpful and professional. She acted as my solicitor when I purchased my house and I have found her to be very responsive throughout the transaction. Furthermore, she has been helpful and been quick to respond with information I require to re-mortgage, 2 years after I purchased the property.

I have now dealt with Kimberley Osborne at the Harpenden office of this firm on 3 transactions. She has been thoroughly efficient, responding quickly to my queries and those of the solicitor’s acting for my buyers/sellers. She carefully explained anything I didn’t understand and was pleasant and helpful throughout in spite of the immense pressure to complete before deadlines.

Kimberley has been a truly hardworking and professional solicitor helping us to navigate through our sale and purchase during the pandemic. A real credit to her company.

It's no coincidence there are not any reviews of them here. Truly shocking experience with St Albans office. I'm a first time buyer and wanted to instruct them to act as my solicitors for a new build purchase. For 2 days in a row I couldn't get through to their conveyancing team past their reception. The receptionist would ask me tons of questions and in the end relay a false name of the caller (for reason beyond human comprehension she made up my name as Mike Lee) or just deliberately lie that solicitor was out of the office while they were in. When I challenged and questioned this shambles their St Albans head of conveyancing said she considered such behaviour quite normal and didn't see any issue with that. On top of that she quite arrogantly added that maybe TW was not the right firm for me (you bet!). Icing on the cake was when they sent me an e-mail saying that due to Christmas build up they couldn't provide the level of services I required. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry while reading this. If you want to hire adult hypocrites this team will be your best choice!
