I used Taxadora for my Spanish tax…
I used Taxadora for my Spanish tax return under the Beckham regime and, while the tax return was eventually filed correctly, the overall client experience was very much disappointing.
My issue was never with the tax calculation itself, but with the communication and handling of the process. Throughout the engagement, communication was inconsistent, several of my follow-up emails were ignored, and responses often addressed only selected points while avoiding others entirely. I repeatedly asked proactively whether any additional documents were needed, was initially told only payslips were required, and later received explanations that additional information was missing or required further review. This created unnecessary stress and confusion.
I also found some of the messaging on their website unclear. The site states “pay after you receive your tax return,” but in my case payment was required before the process really started. Only later was this explained as part of their “internal procedures.”
When I raised concerns about the overall experience and requested some form of goodwill gesture or acknowledgment, the response was largely defensive and focused on comparing themselves to “typical Spanish law firms” rather than genuinely addressing the client experience concerns raised.
To be fair, the return was ultimately filed within the legal deadline and the team did complete the technical work. However, for a service dealing with taxes, relocation stress, and expat clients, I expected clearer communication, better responsiveness, and a more client-oriented approach.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend their service to anyone looking for a smooth and stress-free experience.
