Nightmare experience with Take Me Taxi company Northampton.
If you don't want to miss your coach or flight please avoid using Take Me .
I booked a Taxi the day before early in the morning to get to the National Express bus stop at Grange park but unfortunately it didn't turn up on time and I miss my coach.
All I got was a basic sorry for inconvenience.
This company showed No reliability No accountability. I will never ever use this service

If I could give 0 stars I would. The operators lie to your face booked a taxi 1 hour in advance still didn’t turn up 30 mins after pick up time. DO NOT use these clowns, waste of time!

Today I called Take Me Wellingborough at 10:01 am. I was told the taxi would be five minutes. After 45 minutes and six calls I gave up. I need to use a taxi due to mobility issues. This will be the last time that I will use Take Me their customer service and relability are non-existent.

So Fife Council has agreed to let Taxi Drivers in Fife raise their Prices from May ???
Aye well done Fife Council - yet again ????
Poor wee taxi drivers not making enough money so we”ll let them raise their prices and the public will have to pay for it ??
In order for them to cover their costs ???
Their argument is that many will go out of business if they don’t ???
So what if they do ?
I’d rather walk / hitchhike / get a bus or not go at all than step into a taxi in Fife or anywhere for that matter
Total and utter rip off !
Just Typical of the mindset of the British Workman / Business Attitude “ I’ll pass on my costs to the customer so that they pay them instead of me ”
Quite frankly, I don’t give a toss about their rising costs -why should I ? not a single person gives a toss about mine !

Dont bother!! Have been waiting an hour 15 mins and keep being told 15 - 20 mins still not despatched. Would help if they told customers truth. Been using this company for 20+ years service has got so much worse as the company has got bigger. Have had many many more experiences like this. Not just a one off.

Yesterday I booked a trip on the app to the same location that I have gone to several times by the same company and which has cost no more than £7. This driver took the longest route to the location and charged me £8.40. When challenged, he said that he did not know the route. I told him that he should not have taken the fare and if he was so unsure, why did he have a private phone conversation in his own language during the journey?
I made the return journey by bus on the usual route and there were no roadworks, so the driver could not even say that to me.
I have contacted the company 3 times already and noone has had the courtesy to contact me back.
I'm not after a free ride. I just don't want to be cheated out of £1.40.
Luckily, I no longer need to use this company as I have now had my knee replacement operation and am independently mobile again. And other taxi companies are available.

Agreed journey cost & paid when dropped off. Next day…. Extra payment taken from my account!!!! Contacted 3 times with no reply!. Driver exceeding speed limit on most roads & not very steady on the wheel ? Who are these people we put our life in their hands on busy roads. Avoid at all costs. They have access to take money from your account in your absence & looking at reviews, this is a regular practice.

The local authority arranged taxi for my son who goes to a specialist school and the taxis were either late or just did not turn up and left my son stranded . In the end had to change providers due to the taxis not arriving or arriving late . this is not a one off thing is was multiple time a week and given lots of chances

Rubbish service. Taxi booked for 7.50am to take us to East Midlands Airport. No sign of, or word from taxi driver by 8.05. I got a neighbour to take my wife and I to the airport. Taxi driver rang at 8.30 to say he was outside my house. I told him that he was 40 minutes late and that I had arranged an alternative ride. He said that he had had to come from Melton Mowbray which is why he was late. I won’t be using this firm again.

This comapnay here to waste time and for them its a fun ask you to provide this that and next week again . When we registering we give them all the information and upload the relvent documents they ask for then after few weeks they comeback and say we are sorry cant take your application further. Unprofesional staff and management.

Absolutely shocking, advertise all the reliable on time rubbish yet fail to pick up on time for a regular twice a week journey thats pre booked, been late every weel for past 5 weeks, longest being late by an hour !

On the night of December 22, I went from Plymouth to the bus station by taxi. It was raining. I was waiting at the gate with one suitcase and one backpack. The driver did not get out of the car. He asked me what I wanted to do with my suitcase. I told him I wanted to put it in the boot. He opened the boot automatically and stayed in the car. I put the suitcase in myself. In two minutes we arrived at the bus station. There it was the same: he opened the door but did not help me at all. I felt a bit bad about this, because I think taxi drivers are usually polite and helpful. I also find it upsetting that with a 100% fare they automatically took a 50% tip. I do not think it is fair that I cannot decide myself if I want to give a tip or not. To this driver, I would not have wanted to give anything.

Ordered a taxi from Sainsbury's. Got the call to say it had arrived but it was not there. Tried being put through to the driver to see where he was and he kept hanging up. Phoned the control desk and was told the driver had put me down as a no show because he apparently turned up and I was t there! The rude woman on the phone literally called me a liar.im disgusted by this. It's not the first issue I've had with this firm. Won't be using them again as I do not appreciate being called a liar

Then took another £30 the following day. ?!!!

The last time I looked my home address and destination town 9 miles away had not moved !

The driver was 20 minutes late picking us up

Will not use or recommend in the future

Brilliant service from Take Me Taxis Crewe. Our driver went above and beyond after a busy, gridlocked night in Manchester following a Co-op Live show. When we called, he gave us his mobile number so we could drop a pin, and he found a quieter spot to collect us safely and quickly. Really impressed with his effort and professionalism. Highly recommend!

Wouldnt even put 1 star so unreliable failed to pick my financee from work after we booked it hours ago tryed calling no answer dont bother

Booked a scheduled pickup with take.me for my daughter’s Friday school collection — they didn’t turn up. No call, no update. I had to ring them myself and chase it up, only to be told they couldn’t find a driver, despite the booking being made well in advance.

This is completely unacceptable when you’re relying on them for something time-sensitive. Thankfully Uber saved the day, but that’s not the point — a pre-booked taxi should actually arrive.

I used to use Crystal Taxis before they transitioned to take.me and they were reliable, but the service has gone seriously downhill. I won’t be using them again.

I pre booked Take me knowing that we would have a late night and was booked at a fixed rate. We waited at the pick up point and no driver came. On contact with the company they passed us from pillar to post and eventually said that someone would be with us in 10 mins. Again a no show. They also sent us a link for payment which had nearly doubled in price. We then booked with another company. We would never use this company again!

Taxi for people seem not to be their priority, taxi for food delivery seem to be the number one priority for the drivers. I was left waiting in the cold with shopping for nearly an hour before taxi finally arrived, the driver was unhelpful, seemed to be in a rush to drop me off. This used to be a reliable taxi firm however now with all the takeaway deliveries and whoosh deliveries getting a taxi means waiting endlessly, this taxi firm has now become one of the worst when it comes to putting people first.
