Second time is a disaster
Second time is a disaster. Messages telling me my order is on the way from DPD and another from the company saying my order is on the way to Royal Mail. It was due Wednesday but I changed it to today Thursday 5th May. No further information from DPD giving me an hourly slot. But a text, saying it is to be delivered to Royal mail for delivery to me. Not today in other words. This is atrocious

Thanks for taking your time and leaving us a review.This was already explained to you in our email conversations, but this review will help our other customers as a reference.
We received your order on 1st May 2022, which was Sunday. As you are aware, 2nd May i.e Monday was a bank holiday and we tried to book with DPD to send your items as soon as possible but DPD didn’t come for a pickup. We have cancelled it but this is not updated in the DPD systems.
We have used Royalmail and we dispatched your items on Tuesday.We have sent you the tracking number.
We try our best to send the items to customers on time and sometimes we change the carrier when required and that’s why we are one of the best grocery stores who deliver on time, as you can see in our reviews.
Our systems are automated and integrated with the delivery companies and these messages will be sent to the customers as an update at different times.
The emails or notifications you are receiving are from DPD. Also, we have informed you that we have spoken to DPD and they might have already sent you an apology email for sending incorrect notifications.
We rely on the third party courier companies for delivery and the messages you recieve from them are not in our control unfortunately.
Our customers can always contact us if there is any issue with the delivery and we are always happy to help.
