As a breeder it is wonderful to be able to find puppy owners who you know have already been vetted and are genuine dog lovers, looking for a responsibly bred puppy It certainly takes the pressure off, at a very busy time. Hopefully it will soon put an end to irresponsible breeding

Getting your first dog is a really big decision. My husband and I have both wanted one for as long as we can remember, and the pandemic meant our everyday life now and in the future has dramatically changed. We searched the internet high and low for a reasonable and positive place to get our first dog.
Rescue sites, dedicated pet sites and then came across Tailwise. We were puppy shy (with a preference for a rescue dog given puppy farms etc) but won over by the thoroughness of vetting process on both sides. We were given materials both by the home Bella came from and Tailwise that helped us know exactly what we were getting into. the ongoing support and genuine care from everyone we interacted with was amazing. I have recommended Tailwise to all my friends also considering adding a new member to the family.

I really liked the service provided by Tailwise. It saved me alot of time and hassle from having to send out 100+ emails and go through the internet trying to contact the breeders, meet them, vent them myself etc.
Not only were they professional and friendly, but they were also able to answer all the questions I had about the steps needed to get a puppy. I liked knowing that the breeders are all verified, cared about their puppies and were easy to reach and communicate with it. Sam from Tailwise helped us find the right match. This has really removed the strain of wondering if we were going to find a good breeder and a healthy puppy. We've been looking for a cockapoo and in our case found one quite quickly. We were supported throughout the entire process and updated on any news really promptly.

Amazing way for owners to find a puppy. It takes the hassle out of trawling though the internet and visiting loads of breeders!

I am sitting in my front room with my beautiful Irish Terrier Rascal, all the result of the hard work and dedication of Sam and the team at Tailwise.

I had been searching for a puppy for 6 months, with little result, many of the breeders I contacted just failed to get back to me and I was on the verge of giving up when a friend suggested I try Tailwise and within a week I had been put in contact with a wonderful breeder and the rest as they say is history!

The whole process was straightforward, I enrolled with Tailwise and from then on I had constant support from Sam and the team. We discussed the breed I had chosen and how I would be able to provide a healthy and happy home for the dog.

After this I was put in contact with the breeder and we had a conversation so that the breeder could be confident that I was the right person to take one of their litter.

From then until collection, I was given weekly updates by the breeder and support from Sam. I went to meet the breeders and chose puppy, arranged a collection date and now have a lovely healthy puppy called Rascal. Sam came along to meet us when I collected Rascal which was a lovely.

Sam and the Tailwise team ensured that I was put in contact with not only a reputable breeder but also one whose interest is in ensuring that their puppies find the right owner and home.

I'm 30 years old, and have loved dogs all my life, but have never had one of my own. My life was finally in a place where I could get one. However it's actually pretty daunting when you see all the breeders online. Pets4homes seemed great, but they do none of the vetting themselves. I spoke to some breeders who seemed pretty happy for me to come and take a puppy off them that day, no questions asked. So you can never really be sure of their background. You hear so many stories of people wanting to make a quick buck and produce a litter of puppies, without caring where those puppies are going. I wanted a breeder who interviewed me, who actually cared where the puppies were going. I wanted to be vetted. My friend suggested I sign up to tailwise, I really liked the premise of the site. I told them my timescales and what I was looking for. A few weeks later I got an email with a breeder about 20 miles from where I lived. We spoke on the phone and she had read my bio I filled in on Tailwise and seemed keen to know about my living situation. She had turned people away from buying her puppies before. She had made sure that the parents of the puppies were healthy and had good temperaments. I now sit with a gorgeous 11 week old cockerpoo who loves everyone she meets and is super smart and responsive to training. Sam at Tailwise stayed in touch with me throughout the whole process, even drove down to Brighton to meet me and the new pup when we arrived. Putting good dog owners in touch with good breeders is a great mission for a company, and so far i've been very impressed. Highly recommend.

Excellent service with Sam at Tailwise who helped us find a reliable, honest breeder and our wonderful miniature poodle puppy. He gave useful information, answered all our questions and made the experience stress free. Would highly recommend, especially for first time dog owners.

We found Tailwise at a dog event late last year and had been considering getting a cocker spaniel for a while.
