I received an incomplete order with a note that said the missing item was back ordered. It did not say so on the website. I could have ordered from Amazon and literally had it days ago. I wrote them and received no feedback. This place is a scam. Save your money.

Very Disappointed

My husband received a pair of pants from this company as a Christmas gift from a relative out of town. The pants did not fit. We wanted to exchange them for the correct size. I tried using the returns portal, but needed an order number. I reached out to a human at your company to determine next steps, and she confirmed that - even with an exchange - we needed the order number. I got ahold of the relative who purchased the gift. She was able to dig up a paper copy of the order. When I tried to input the order number in the returns portal, it said no order existed. I once again called to speak to a representative. After sitting on hold as number one in the queue for about 15 minutes, a woman took my call. She directed me back to the returns portal, where I input the order number again. This time it worked, but when all was said and done, the shipping label for the return had the giver's address on it, and we couldn't get that adjusted to our address. This means that, once the giver receives the exchange, we have to figure out a way to get it to our address in a different state. This is absolutely ridiculous. I will never order from this company again, and will advise against others doing so.

I don't know if I feel better or worse…

I don't know if I feel better or worse after reading these reviews. I placed an order on December 4th. I was charged immediately and to this day haven't received my order. I have emailed them twice and been given the run around. If you can't fulfill an order at least refund it promptly.

Wrong Size Gift

I received a fleece jacket from TacticalGear.com. The jacket is ok, but it was the wrong size.

There were no instructions anywhere on the product or on their website where to return it and how to make an exchange. I I called numerous times, and each time was told to leave a message. My calls were never returned. I am stuck with a jacket that is one size too big for me.

I would never buy anything from this company for myself or as a gift for anybody.

I placed an order on November 25, 2025 and they charged my credit card on November 26, 2025. My order was supposed to ship by December 1st. As of today, December 26th, still have not received my order and to find out it hasn’t even shipped yet. This is my first time ordering from them and the last. Terrible service

This is absolutely infuriating and completely unacceptable. I placed my order on 11/10/2025, and you had no problem taking my money immediately. Since then? Zero communication. Nothing. When I call on 11/17/2025 for an update, I’m told there was an issue with the card. How is that even possible when you already charged me? And you didn’t bother to notify me? That’s beyond negligent. Then, when I try to reorder, I’m told the items won’t ship until December. Your website says NOTHING about vendor shipping or delayed dates. Yet, your website says "IN STOCK - READY TO SHIP!". This is dishonest, misleading, and an absolute failure in customer service. Fix this immediately.

Whole month still no boots

I’m gonna keep this simple, i ordered a pair of boots like oakley something wtv but i ordered them about a month ago now and i tracked them almost every day because it said 5-8 business days which isn’t the best but its wtv, all it said was order is processed, i emailed them about this, yet to have a response and the boots are yet to come. Regularly i would let this slide maybe there is a lot of orders but a whole month and still no boots is crazy i NEED these like right now i have a rotc competition and practice for raiders and im literally missing all of it, the experience, the meets, everything TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION, TERRIBLE SHIPPING TIME, IM FURIOUS NEVER ORDERING HERE AGAIN I WAS HYPED FOR THESE NOW I JUST WANT THE STUFF I PAID FOR.

Ordered a GORUCK GR2 26l, They don't even have it in stock.

Purchased a GoRuck GR2 in 26l from Tactical Gear on 8/29/25. I noticed that GoRuck's website removed that specific item off their inventory. So I think to my self, "I do hope that this item is in stock."

9/21/25 Tactical Gear sends me this email. "Reviewing your order, we did pass the request for the GoRuck GR2 Travel Rucksack to our supplier to fulfill the order due to it being out of stock in our warehouse. They provided us with a shipping date of mid-September, which we are now getting past. I am going to reach out to the vendor in the morning to see if I can get some answers as to where your order is at. Keep an eye out for another email from me tomorrow afternoon."

9/22/2025 email: The current estimated shipping date for your item is: 12/31/25.
Please be aware this is subject to change depending on product shipments
I’m very sorry for the inconvenience this delay may cause. If you'd like to make any changes to your order, such as switching to a different item or canceling, we're happy to assist. Or, if you prefer to keep the order as is and wait for the item to become available, we’ll leave it as is."

So after all that, I asked them to cancel my order. They said that they need to submit a ticket to their distributor to okay the cancellation and to issue the refund. Funny, I paid Tactical Gear. Why should it be my problem if you're having a 3rd party involved. Why is it so hard getting a refunds when we're living in 2025.

I came here to order a watch in which they had on sale, only for it to never be shipped. Day by day say “Vendor will ship product directly to you”. If you don’t have the product why the hell are you selling it then? Take your business elsewhere these people are idiots.

Wow they won’t ship my order because billing address is different from shipping address. Ridiculous! Horrible customer service. Ordered this watch a week ago and no update, I had to reach out to find out what’s going on. Last time I will be ordering from them.

Horrible customer support

I would give zero stars if I could. I never received my order, yet FedEx marked it as delivered. I checked everywhere, and the delivery photo is clearly not my house. Despite this, the seller refused to issue a refund or take any responsibility. Completely unacceptable customer service. Avoid this seller if you want peace of mind with your purchase!

Ordered Danner boots

Ordered Danner boots. Received but they were too small. Tried to exchange for a larger size and got the biggest run around in history. Called Danner. They dont care. If you buy from Tacticalgear, beware.

Terrible service, they took my order saying the item is in stock online...its not. After 3 months waiting with ETA after ETA I never got the item and requested a refund. Hopefully I get that. Looking at the other reviews this is common practice. AVOID

I cannot verify because you have refused to offer your order number, but I believe you are confusing us with another business. We do not allow backorders on our site, so if you order a product with us, it will always be in stock. If for some reason, that is not the case, we cancel and refund the order immediately. I'm sorry you had this experience with wherever you ordered, but that is not the way we do business!

Website is deceiving when ordering

TacticalGear’s site fails to mention that what may be “in stock”, and states that your order will be shipped in 1 package, may not actually be “in stock” (in the same facility) or ship in the same package as the rest of your order.

After receiving my order, realizing that the main item was missing, customer service was contacted. This main item was a gshock watch. I was told that the gshock would ship from the manufacturer. Which is not what the website stated when I placed the order. The site stated that my order would be shipped in 1 package. They apologized.

I requested a refund. Customer service was diligent, and followed up via email, telling me that my watch had been shipped, and would arrive the following day. I was provided with tracking shortly after.

I originally gave this company one star. I received an email from Trustpilot, stating that my review would be taken offline if I did not provide more detail, per TacticalGear’s request.

So this has been updated, and I have given TacticalGear one more star, and updated my review, which lacked the resolution that happened after the initial review.

Their customer service representative was decent, but order at your own risk. The title of the review is correct. I would not have placed the order if it stated that it would be shipped separately.

Also, it did NOT ship from the manufacturer. Which I have proof of. It was shipped by “CAT 5 COMMERCE”.

Always know who you’re buying from, and who’s shipping it. Although my issue was resolved, I will not order from them again.

I talked to the Customer Service representative who handled your concerns, and she let me know she refunded your shipping, and thought we reached a resolution that made you happy If that was not the case, please reach out again and let us know what we can do to make this right.

We do offer some items that ship directly from the manufacturer's warehouse. We do this to offer our customers the most comprehensive products and sizes available on the market. When those ship, they will still show as shipped by "Cat5 Commerce" as we are being invoiced for that order. Our shipping policy does mention this in detail, but I apologize if you feel you were mislead.

If there is anything we can do to earn back your business, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Customer Service team again.
