I spent 10 amazing days solo with the amazing Tambi as my guide, and Mohammed as the driver across Syria including Damascus, Aleppo, Idlib, Latakia, Kesab, Palmyra, Busra, Arwad, Hama, and more! Everything went great, and I always felt very safe. We had some great adventures and Tambi and Mohammed were more friends by the end of the trip than anything else. Syria Scope Travel went above and beyond to make my trip to Syria special. From the moment I reached out to them they had nothing but great communication. Our drive from Beirut was smooth and well planned. As soon as we got to Damascus we hit the ground running. Our guide Alaa was very informative and a delight to be around. She gave us great insight into life in the county. Day two we went to the countryside and saw Maalula which was stark contrast from the city. My wife and I booked a week-long private tour in Syria through Syria Scope and were very pleased with the experience. We created an itinerary alongside the company and selected a range of places to visit, including Damascus, Aleppo, Homs, Maaloula, Idlib, and Palmyra. The tour included all transfers, hotel accommodations, and personal tours from our guide at each location, all for a very reasonable price. Our guide, Tambi, was extremely knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond to give us a great experience wherever we went. (The same can be said for our excellent driver, Muhammad.) I really can't speak highly enough of the experience. As Americans, it's been a long time since we've been allowed to visit Syria in this way, and we couldn't have asked for better guides to show us around!

Had a great time in Syria. It was easy getting around the city of Damascus to see and photography all the sites that were on my bucket list. Travel between cities was also easy with little traffic on the roads.

Ayoub even looked out for me when I first got to Syria before I even decided to book a tour with them, really amazing people. Had an astounding experience traveling across one of the oldest civilizations in History, and also my homeland. You’ll never have a similar experience in any other country. Syria’s rich culture and history is unmatched, and had whole ancient cities and castles to myself, no where else in the world can you experience this. The team made sure I was comfortable and safe and they’re now lifelong brothers of mine. Es war wohltuend, von einer sicheren Basis aus Entdeckungen zu machen. Wir sahen Orte und hatten Begegnungen mit Menschen, die ich nie für möglich gehalten hätte. Nach dieser Reise möchte ich unbedingt mehr von Syrien sehen. Ich komme wieder.

Syria Scope Travel are real professionals who help you experience a country that’s not the easiest to explore on your own. I had 5 days and joined the Syria Intense Tour, which covers the country’s main highlights – Damascus, Aleppo, Hama, Homs, Krak des Chevaliers, Palmyra, and Bosra. The tour is very well designed – there’s really only one long travel day, but that’s because Palmyra is quite far away. I can genuinely recommend it.

My driver, Mohammed Alsmadi, handled the challenging traffic of Syria’s big cities perfectly, with a new and comfortable car. My guide, Mohammed Azizi, was incredibly knowledgeable, spoke excellent English, and, most importantly, knew everyone everywhere – thanks to him I got access to places most tourists never see. Both of them were kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything.

On the day we were heading to Palmyra, the car had an issue with the suspension – within an hour they arranged a replacement vehicle, found a new driver, and had the main car repaired by the time we returned. That alone says a lot about their professionalism.

The transfer from Beirut was also smooth – about three hours to Damascus, including all border formalities, which their Lebanese driver helped me handle easily.

I recently did an 8 Day Tour with Syria Scope Travel that barely scratched the surface but certainly left me all but overwhelmed in the best ways from start to finish. The action-packed itinerary covering highlights does not include all the in-between extras that had us feeling like VIPs. Looking at competitors’ websites and counting heads in tour group photos, Company Founder Ayoub Alsmadi guaranteed a small group no larger than 8 and that he would split any larger numbers for a more personalized experience. We were 6 in August, perhaps due to excessive heat, driven around in a 24 passenger mini-coach with ice box AC, continuous fresh fruits, snacks, and chilled water; levels of unexpected comfort. Our guide was Mohammed Azizi; an Aleppo native that willingly shared his personal experiences during the war, his hopes for a new Syria, and his inside contacts for all the trip extras. He went above and beyond catering to the group and individualized interests and has exceptional photography skills. We went with the understanding that itineraries may be altered due to potential conflicts but safety was never an issue. There was plenty of destructive evidence from the 13-year Civil War, but one quickly realizes it’s only one more layer of future history that will be layered with so much ancient history and civilizations. However, it was the resilience and warmth of the Syrian people that made the most lasting impressions and erased decades of misinformation for what Westerners are supposed to think, believe about this part of the world. Not wanting to go with unrealistic expectations, I did minimal trip prep and have now spent weeks researching all the places visited and information learned. I look forward to returning soon, better informed with Mohammed as a friend and guide on a longer, more personalized plan through Ayoub and Syria Scope Travel.

An incredible trip with Tambi to the key areas and sites of Syria! Amazing history, culture, food, and people. Tambi ensured getting an inside look at a hopeful nation recovering from dictatorship and war. Most tourists would normally have lots of questions in deciding a trip in Syria. So did I, and Syria Scope Travel explained everything in details.

Logistics across borders and insider the country is pre-arranged and taken care by the guide/driver throughout the trip, so I was totally relaxed with no concerns over safety and security.

we went on a 15 day trip to Syria.

Syria Scope Travel organized the trip for us, George was our guide. He is an excellent guide, very patient and humorous and his historical knowledge is vast. As he speaks French and English very good, communication was very good. Ahmed was our driver, also a very nice guy. So we were a small, well-harmonised group of 4, travelling north-west to Kassab, near the Turkish border, and south-west to Bosra, near the Jordanian border. The visit to the Jebeili soap factory in the old town of Aleppo was the fulfilment of a long wish of mine. Seeing and photographing the traditional soap making process gave me great pleasure.

The organisation of Syria Scope team was excellent, we didn't miss a thing, everything went well. We were in Damascus, Saidnaya, Malloula, Mar Musa, Homs, Hamra, Aleppo, Apameia, Ugarit, Kassab, Lattakia, Krak, Tartous, Palmyra, Busra, Bludan, Quneitra, Golan and so on. The hotels were surprisingly good. We saw beautiful and sad things in Syria, but we were surprised how normal life is again in Syria. And how much is already being rebuilt. The people we met in Syria were very generous and welcoming, the food was wonderful. We would have liked to stay longer.

My partner and I went to Syria with Syria Scope Travel a month a go, without much preparation and not knowing what to expect. What waited for us was a short, but unforgettable experience. Can only say thank you - to Edward., and especially also Fadi and the great team, all work with such great personal care and it was completely tailored to us. Really everything was flawlessly organized (transport and checkpoints, border crossing, accommodation in old Damascus) and we had wonderful encounters and unforgettable impressions. increíble. Te da una seguridad absoluta desde el principio del recorrido hasta el final. Una organización increíble e inmejorable. Hicimos un recorrido de 8 días, salimos de Beirut donde te recoge un chófer a la hora y el lugar acordado. El realiza todos los trámites necesarios para pasar la frontera uniéndose después al segundo chófer, hay muy buena comunicación entre ellos y te sientes segura en el Cruze fronterizo.
Cuando llegamos a Damasco descansamos y empezamos nuestra ruta, con un maravilloso guía que es increíblemente simpático y profesional. En nuestra ruta de 8 días vemos Damasco, Maloula,Homs, Aleppo Apamea,Hama,krak des Chevaliers,Almishtaya,Palmyra, y de vuelta a Damascus. Siria es increíble y a pesar de su situación es realmente segura. Está claro que volveré a ir. También quiero decir que la comunicación es realmente increíble dejando bien claro los precios desde el principio. Es la compañía de viajes más fiable que conozco.
