BEWARE!!!!

BEWARE!!!!! If these idiots ever have to come to your place of work and you get tested for drugs and alcohol make sure you are not alone. The most unprofessional outfit that ever has existed. Harold shipman has a better bedside manner than there staff. It’s no wonder they’re no longer recognised in the eyes of the law. I’ve had to leave my wonderful job because of their utter incompetence and lies.

Horrible experience

My substance test took place on Wednesday Dec 18th 2024 at 5am. I don't have the name of that gentleman but have to say that had the most uncomfortable and disappointing experience. When I asked the person a question his answer was that I had an attitude. He told me to empty all my pockets even tho he's not a law enforcement official or security. Then I was followed to the restroom to make sure I dispose of the specimen he said. When I asked why was he following me he said to make sure I don't keep it to SELL it. Again to SELL my urine??? Just to be clearif I have to get tested again and this person shows up I'll refuse to even talk to him. He was very unprofessional wouldn't even say good morning or hello. Just shouted WHO IS HERE TO TAKE THE TEST? He walked in like he owned the place. Again I don't even wanna see his face again. Adam from Abel&Cole

Incompetent IT

Gross incompetence lead to cyber attack that has stopped blood tests for 2m people., leaving me very stressed.

Based on my recent experience with…

Based on my recent experience with Synlab, I believe all these other reviews sharing bad experiences are very true. Had an interview with them about 3-4 weeks ago. It went really well in my opinion and I was told they will contact me soon. This was almost a month now and not a word from them. I even sent a nice follow-up email to them and still not even an acknowledgment. Even tried calling a number they give to contact them, no answer. This substandard level of professionalism shows me exactly how they treat people and most likely not a good company to work for.

Due to synlab screwing up my toxicology…

Due to synlab screwing up my toxicology results I had a 1 year driving ban set in place which I didn't argue now 3 years later it gets expunged from license I was told a litigation team would get in contact with me from synlab but have heard nothing, your company ruined my life you could atheist compensate with some form of payment your not even responding to my emails, to ruin my life and ignore me what sort of company are you

I had my DVLA Medical on the 29th of…

I had my DVLA Medical on the 29th of August. I’ve have been calling the DVLA for an update in regards to my license and all they say is we’re waiting for the lab results back. Apparently they’ve sent a reminder a week or so ago and still nothing. Getting very frustrated and it seems that synlab do this often from other peoples reviews.

Had DVLA medical on March 31st

Had DVLA medical on March 31st.
DVLA uses Synlab but they have confirmed that on June the 2nd that they have lost my blood results and require to attend another blood test.
Not sure why it’s taken them so long to confirm that they have not received the results. Please can somebody look into this and advise where my blood results are. Please kindly write back and confirm that you have my results.

Lost my job and my business due to…

Lost my job and my business due to Synlab moody drug testing . No apology from them ? CPS have given me my licence back. I even had the blood retested and said there was an issue but still got convicted .
4 years of my life ruined

How long does ut take for you to complete urine tests and send results back to dvla.

Thank you for your enquiry. The turnaround time to complete urine tests is three working days upon receipt. This does not include the time the DVLA may take to respond to you.

How is this company still operating I don’t no. They have had to voluntarily give up there accreditation due to botched up test for drug drivers and even the chief of police say there testing is unreliable.

Synlab are taking upwards of 15 weeks…

Synlab are taking upwards of 15 weeks to get test results to Dvla for urinanalysis. My assessment was in 10 august I phoned Dvla again today and was told they are no longer requesting urine tests from synlab. Why??? And for now that leaves me in limbo. Terrible terrible administration of these tests. I’m so upset about it.

This is related to Synlab

This is related to Synlab, Abervergeny. Long and sorry story why not to go near this lab. My blood samples for TB testing taken at a third party clinic were sent to this lab. I required the TB test for an overseas trip for work. It’s supposed to take 10 days to test at the most.
After two weeks, and several calls and emails to the third party clinic, I was eventually informed the “Lab’s” machine for testing had broken while testing my samples that morning resulting in an inconclusive result. Not convinced by the explanation I requested the inconclusive result certificate, which stated “sample >3 days old on receipt”.
Synlab were the “Lab”. In order to take up a complaint with the third party lab I contacted Synlab for confirmation on the story about the machine and they refused to provide any information, even though I am in possession of a certificate from their lab in my name. Calls and emails ignored. I can only assume that they would rather protect the lies of their client, the third party clinic, than provide the truth to me, who was not able to travel for work, and lost income.
If you value ethics and integrity with business partners, don’t use this lab. They should be ashamed of themselves.
The third party clinic are getting a worse review…

Dreadful service at Villamoura.
Close early open late.
Had many tests and none hurt like this one, people were jumping out if the seat in pain
Find somewhere else.

Do not use.

POOR! We were disappointed by SYNLAB

We were disappointed by SYNLAB. Arrived at Faro airport half an hour early for our test, having completed their online form only to be told it had to be done on paper (!! So why have it in the app?!) which wasted valuable time. The execution of the test was swift and efficient by a very nice woman BUT we then waited ONE HOUR AND 15 MINUTES (this is a swift antigen test!) and then had to go back to the test site who couldn’t help us apart from saying it’s all been done and then to the airport desk to chase up our results which meant we lost our place in the EasyJet queue and were very stressed imagining we were about to be prevented from flying home.. we eventually got an email with our negative test results. VERY unimpressed.

Promised to get results within 48 but…

Promised to get results within 48 but am currently on day 3 after and still have not received the result nor is it possible to contact synlab. It is not possible to get in the queue when calling and I response on email I can expect only within 3 days. Very expensive product given these delays
