Used sync.so for a short lip-sync job. The free tier only allows one generation with their best model and caps videos at 15 seconds, so I had to split my clip. I then paid, expecting clean output, but the $5 Hobbyist plan still watermarks everything. You need the $19/month Creator plan to remove it, and there's no option to pay to unwatermark a single video. The lip-sync quality itself is mediocre, and the pricing and watermark rules should be spelled out clearly before you pay.

I am absolutely stunned by the extremely manipulative business practices of Synchronicity Labs Inc (sync.so). I tested this AI service months ago and have not used it at all since then.

Consequently, my dashboard shows a balance of 0.00 $. Nevertheless, the company secretly debits a "basic fee" of around 23 euros month after month – for an absolutely empty account that you cannot even do anything with without additional payments!

But the worst is yet to come: When I noticed the scam, I immediately blocked my Mastercard completely in my banking app. And what does sync.so do? They exploit a technical loophole in the system. They get payment guarantees (pre-noted / reservations) hours before the block, so that the money is simply deducted afterwards despite a blocked card! To make matters worse, the cancellation button in the dashboard is intentionally hidden so well that it is almost impossible to end the subscription normally.

Attention, extreme psychological manipulation: In order to protect itself from the flood of well deserved negative reviews, the company intentionally uses a completely unfitting logo here on Trustpilot (a kind of Viking/anime character with horns) instead of their real website logo! This is pure intention so that ripped off customers think they are on the wrong profile and do not write a review!
Do not be fooled: Under the name, it says crystal clear in the fine print "sync.so" – this right here is the correct profile of these scammers!

Here, groundbreaking technology (Lip Sync etc.) is paired with the mentality of a pickpocket. This is not genius status, this is the cheapest rip-off at the expense of consumers!

I have now had to completely replace my credit card and have initiated an official chargeback process through my bank.

Save your money and your nerves, steer clear of this platform!

I had a very disappointing experience with Sync.so. They advertise a subscription plan, but after subscribing I discovered that I was still being charged for individual projects. The pricing structure is confusing and feels misleading.

I expected the subscription to cover my usage, but instead I was asked to pay again for each project. This was not clear during the signup process. Because of this experience, I deleted my account.

What is even more frustrating is that charges continued to appear on my bank card after I had already removed my account. This has caused a lot of concern and inconvenience.

I feel that customers deserve much more transparency about costs and billing. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service and would advise others to carefully review all charges before signing up.

Mail envoyé au support parce que je me fais débité alors que je n'uilise pas le service. Et site auquel je ne peux pas accéder pour annuler mon abonnement. Mail envoyé au support le 03/01/2026 et toujours rien en 1 semaine, silence radio. Je dois aller sur leurs discord pour avoir une réponse d'un modo qui peut rien faire aussi. Je dois pratiquement en venir a faire opposition sur ma carte de crédit juste pour un bug sur leurs site si ils en viennent pas à répondre. Leurs lypsync fonctionne mais pour cette qualité de service client, allez voir ailleurs.
